I felt the Ladies who packed us were very nice and professional. They were also very organized and completed the job very efficiently. The movers were great. They were dressed appropriately and were friendly. They completed the job with respect and caring for our stuff. Moving can be so stressful but I felt very comfortable and confident that my belongings were in good hands. I would highly recommend them to my friends, and I will definitely use them again in any future moves.

I have moved multiple times through my life and honestly MoveStar were the best movers I have ever used. MoveStar was a bit more expensive than other movers I have used. But honestly, the quality and care that was put into the move- from coordinating with Lance days before, to the actual day of the move that went incredibly smooth- was well worth it. I highly recommend MoveStar and will be recommending them to friends and family who need moving services.

I would say we had an overall good experience. Happy to report I did not have any issues with the team that moved us. They all were polite and professional. Stayed on task and with our multi stepped move they did great. The only draw back was how they just threw stuff in our storage at our townhome. I thought it would take a long while to straighten it all out but it only took 30 min. Would I use them again. Absolutely yes!

They were awesome! We sold our house and had to stay in an apartment while our new one was built so these guys moved us out and stored our stuff for us and 6 months later moved us in. Had the same crew both times. Very nice, personable, and professional. They were very concerned with making sure we were happy with everything. Highly recommend them! Our couch cushions did go missing but they are working on finding those, that's just a warehouse issue and I'm sure they will resolve that for us. Otherwise, perfect!

Move Star did an A+ job with our move. They moved everything, including a full size refrigerator, out of a third floor condo with no elevator into a single family home. Everything arrived in tact, and not a single item was broken. The entire team was efficient, professional, and friendly. These guys know what they're doing and take great care in servicing their customers. Worth every penny.

My husband and I moved apartments (old building was a second floor unit to a new building in third floor unit) and MoveStar was fantastic. While we didn't have a lot of square footage, we do have quite a bit of stuff and nick-knacks (is that how you spell it?), inexpensive artsy things, technology, etc. and MoveStar handled it all with care and efficiency.

They got everything loaded, moved, and unloaded in less than half a day and Lance was very kind and patient with my millions of questions and emails prior to the guys showing up. I highly recommend this company and their work, they are affordable yet don't skip out on quality work (sometimes affordable can mean quality goes down). We loved using MoveStar and have already saved them in our contacts for our next move!

Had a Movestar crew out yesterday to move me into my new home and they were amazing. Professional, congenial, funny and efficient, they had my apartment packed up in a little over an hour and unpacked by 3.5-4 hours at the new place. They took time to go over everything with me, gave some advice on how to better secure my washer/dryer connections at the new place. Everything was handled with care. Would absolutely recommend to my friends!

We scheduled our move from our one bedroom apartment with MoveStar. They were able to accommodate our move in very short notice. They had great communication over the phone. The workers packed quickly, efficiently, and made sure to protect our bigger furniture to ensure it was not damaged. They are also storing our belongings until we are ready to move into our new location.

Top notch - would recommend to anyone. They showed up on time, took great care of our furniture, and were super professional, speedy and polite. So glad we went with MoveStar to help us with our move!

What an incredible experience we have had with this excellent company! We have done it all move-wise this year and been so impressed and pleased with their service! First a move across town of the whole house in Plano.all went as planned, a small problem with a bookcase they handled and paid for a problem, no issues. Then another across town and perfectly done.

And finally a multi city move from Plano to Austin to Burnet Tx and all handled efficiently, professionally, and economically! And every time, the movers were the nicest folks you would ever meet. We highly recommend Move Star!

MoveStar just completed our 5th move with them. Always on time and guys are always professional. They took the time to wrap everything for us to put our things into storage. Highly Recommend!

They were early which is good but I had asked for 30 minutes later so I could get the keys to the new place. So not a big deal but they wouldn't take a few of my items as they said they weren't boxed properly but took my golf clubs that were not in a box. I, also, felt they drug their feet to get more money out of me. I had three movers that took 4 hours for a one bedroom apartment- the last movers had a crew of two and took 2.5 hours and that included a 45 minute drive, so, this was why they did not get a tip. I inly had a few minor damages but they made me sign a waiver before I could look at my stuff - that was the only thing that was fast on the day of the move.

Movestar moved my dad from senior living to assisted living. Although a small move, they were very professional and very diligent about protecting the items being moved. It was one of the few stress free aspects of moving my dad. They kept me informed as the move was ongoing. Very nice young men and the scheduling was very easy. Highly recommended.

We have moved no fewer than seven times in the last 17 years and without reservation, MoveStar was the BEST experience we've had. These guys were fast, efficient, careful, polite, and everything else you could possibly imagine. I literally cannot say enough positive about them - you will not be disappointed if you use them for your move. In every single move except this one, we've had items lost or broken, walls and floors gouged and disfigured, hidden charges, late deliveries, and even folks showing up drunk!

No so on this one -- we've become "expert" in finding issues because of being screwed over so many times and we literally could not find a SINGLE ISSUE. No dings. Nothing broken. My wife almost got excited when she couldn't find the "stays" for the bookcase -- she'd found something! But alas, they were actually bundled up nicely, marked, and taped to the back of the unit. Literally -- no luck in finding a problem. If there were six stars, I would give them six stars. This was the best move we've ever had.

Super job, Called one day, had them at my place the next day, Horrible Horrible day to move, cold and rainy But these guys got it done, got rid of my bulk trash for me, helped rearrange my storage unit, and drop stuff at new place. Thanks Phillip & JP I'll definitely use this company again Thanks

Worked with Lance to get a quote and he was easy to speak with and I felt offered us an honest rate (compared a few quotes to see what my options were). MoveStar was the best price and I felt extremely confident in their ability. These guys took great care of our stuff and were amazing to work with on the day of the move. Super professional and personable.

They beat the estimated time, saved me a few bucks all while going beyond what we had expected in moving our items from one place to the next, once inside the home. I will say there were a few marks on the wall but nothing that a little cleaning or a touch-up of paint can't fix. I'd select MoveStar again and again. Thank you all for being courteous, helpful and professional.

These guys did a fantastic job. Chris and his team moved us into our new home, and they never broke stride despite some setbacks during the day. There was no damage to any items, nor were there any dents or dings to any walls or doorframes, despite us having some very challenging pieces. I don't ever want to move again, but if I had to then these are the guys I'd want!

We just used move star for our move and if i could give 10 stars i would. They were amazing. Not one thing got broken or damaged. They were very professional, strong and very careful. I had many irreplaceable pieces passed down several generations and nothing was damaged. I had heard many horrible reviews on several companies and was beyond worried about the move.

Move star put my mind at ease and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this company. I couldn't be happier with their service. I called 5 companies for bids. Lance was the first one to call and schedule a bid. 2 companies did not call me back and 1 other didn't even send me a quote. Thanks move star. You were awesome.

Update after moving a few times more. Wow, I got taken. I feel like such an idiot for paying them. This was a straight robbery.

These butt heads give firefighters a bad name! I called THREE TIMES for them to give me a quote. Some guy named Jim (I think) kept telling me someone will call me back to make an appointment to come out to see what all I have to move so that the quote would be accurate. It never happened. No one called me. Based on other reviews, I am glad I am not going to use these people. Stay away from this company, their behavior seems to show that they really don't want your business.

WARNING: Movestar was referred to me by friends who used them many times with positive results. My experience was entirely negative and different My move was estimated at 7-8 hours; it took them 10.25 hours! I moved 1.5 blocks away, from a 2 bedroom condo to another 2 bedroom condo. I had paid for " extra valuation", which I HIGHLY recommend, as it protects you for damage.

They broke an antique side table of mine ( which I'm allowing them to repair, after meeting the nicest longtime employee, who does their repairs) as well as they broke off the corner off my highly valued, irreplaceable, antique dining table. I had paid for extra valuation up to $5000, and they were very reluctant in allowing me this proper repair.

They repeatedly tried to force me to use their in -house refinisher who came out to see my table, and clearly was not familiar with mid-century antique refinishing. After arguing and pressuring me, they agreed to allow me to use my refinisher ( it is my legal right I was informed by lawyer/friend) who came in with a reasonable estimate ( $850 to refinish entire table), with an understanding that it could go a bit over, I warned them in writing.

In the end it went $150 over and they would not pay the difference. I am also having to pay $150 this table (that they damaged), delivered to my house. This is a spotty organization. The one fellow who did truly help, who has worked there a long time, Gus, was an extremely nice guy, but clearly had to act against me at one point, under the pressure of the owner.

The other fellow who fixed my side table, Robin, was a gentleman as well. So apologies to both of these guys. They are longtime employees and great guys. It's about the owner's harsh attitudes, that I take issue and warn you against. I would steer clear of this company unless you are fully aware that they are looking to take advantage of you wherever they can. Be prepared.

This is my second move with Movestar. Both moves have been seamless from start to finish. The moving crew are fabulous. Some of the same men moved me three years ago so they obviously value their employees. They are professional, courteous, and treat your home and possessions with the utmost respect. When you pay by a the hour you worry about speed, no need to because they work efficiently.

They strike the perfect balance with care and speed. They have every tool and supply needed to get the job done. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to use them again the future. Thanks, Movestar!

Movestar Movers moved me into my new home (from my apartment) about a month ago. They were about average, not bad, not great. The thing is their marketing (including a beautiful logo on their very nice truck) says "owned and operated by off duty fire fighters".Well. I am as much a firefighter as the four young men who moved me, and I ain't no firefighter!

Their prices are approximately 25-30% higher than all the other "cheapo" movers, because maybe they think people will pay more for a fire fighter, or for a beautiful fancy truck. Well, save your money, and call someone who is just as average a moving company FOR A LOT LESS MONEY. (I would have given them 2 1/2 stars, but their higher costs for average service cost them 1/2 star.) Best of Luck in YOUR move.

We used Movestar for a Dallas to Houston move and it was super easy with their full service. It's a little more costly than some other movers but the quality of service was worth it. We used their packers for the day before who were professional and packed our things very carefully. Didn't lose a single breakable item in the move. The movers were on time and very fast and friendly. There were three movers which kept things going fast. Like I said, it may cost a little more but the level of service was well worth it.

I have used Movestar for 4 moves. I can not say enough about the trust level I give these guys. They treat your things gently. While they are not the cheapest company to use, I think that most of the complaints you will see are just that. You won't hear about mishandling of items or showing up late. I would rather pay more than have broken TV's and chipped tables. I've been looking at other reviews because Movestar is booked the weekend I need them. Based on other reviews I'm just going to book Movestar to move me during the week even though it's not convenient for me. It will keep my sanity.

We used Movestar last weekend and were very happy with our service. The movers were excellent and took care to do things right. The price was a bit more than we anticipated but as we unpack we find nothing is broke and no damage to furniture. I would recommend them very highly but warn to be prepared to pay more for the excellent service. It all goes back to "you get what you pay for!"
