Friendliest person was Lissette. Liked that they have parking, appreciate the affordability. Place was clean. No restrictions on the Dollie's. This is moving experience, as we progress in time we will see the customer service.

Using them for a second time - their movers are very nice, efficient, and professional. My moving date changed last minute and they were great about accommodating and had me moved within 24 hours of my phone call. Working with them was the least stressful part of the whole process! Highly recommend.

Been renting here for about 8 years now. absolutely NO complaints! Love Aisha she's is the glue to this business as a supervisor Of course, the rest of the staff are great, as well!

DO YOU LIKE HASSLES, BAIT AND SWITCH? The POC faciltiy and floor staff are nice (5 stars) The non-POC owners REALLY DON'T CARE about customer loyalty AT ALL - they know they "gotcha" due to a remote location. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. Sudden rent INCREASES of about 30% in a SUDDEN 30 day notice ARE typical "gotcha" tactics employed EACH YEAR. Any FAIR request is automatically DENIED. Also, the moving division is very disorgainzied with [3-5hrs] lateness being common, as told by others. Ask yourself: "DO YOU WANT MORE HASSLES, STRESS IN YOUR BUSY LIFE?"

My rent was just nearly doubled with a 30 day notice. I was informed that what I was paying was an introductory discount offer but I was not made aware of this in any way. I feel I was lied to and if I had known my rent was going to double I would've never chosen this company. Make sure you ask about your rates after the first year and get something in writing or they're do a bait and switch on you. I'll hopefully be out by the end of the year.

DO NOT RENT HERE - CARPET BEETLES ALL OVER CLOTHES AND MATTRESS, HOLES IN EVERYTHING, $2000 DAMAGES. Their insurance policy does not cover "Against loss or damage caused by or resulting from wear and tear, gradual deterioration, maintenance, inherent vice, latent defect, moths, insects, rodents, vermin, mold, mildew, wet or dry rot, atmospheric condition and/or changes in temperature, delay, loss of use or loss of market." So, unless there is a fire, insurance is USELESS. Please refer to pictures of carpet beetles stuck in tape around the boxes in my storage and on my MATTRESS. Disgusting!

I've been renting a unit here for a year and a half. Best prices in the city. Staff is always courteous and professional. Bathroom is available, vending machines for snacks and drinks.

This is the most affordable storage unit in New York city and I looked everywhere! Good service and nice and helpful staff. I've visited my unit since putting my stuff in and no problems and very secure. Great find!

It is okay there is a lot of dust but dust to something you're going to expect to see you at a storage but it can be a little confusing if you have a storage and you want to transfer it to somebody because my wife and I had to storage it was in my sister's name and we wanted to transfer it to her name's and my wife had to call and get it done at took about four phone calls a lot of Confusion And I think there was also a dialect of English to another language that was part of the issue but overall it is convenient location and they did eventually get it fixed we hope anyways but I think everybody will enjoy it over all

They do NOT prorate. If you are there for 1 week in a month, they charge you the entire month. Be careful with their movers Ben Hur too Rude, slow, on their phone staff. Was there for 4 years for sentiments. Should have let them go for the price, annoyance, and disrespect.

The customer service at NYC Mini Storage is absolutely top shelf. The ladies that run the place are attentive, proactive and cheerful. I had to push my reservation back a number of times for which they took initiative to check in with me and accommodated my requests perfectly. The service is fast and effective. Hats off to Diana and Lisette!

This is my first storage experience ever and I must say I'm satisfied. I was highly desperate for a affordable storage in a short time. Another storage try to charge me double the amount. My whole studio apartment fit in a storage for only $74! You can't beat that. My life was saved and everyone was very helpful. Thanks!

Very nice Storage Facility, the staff ("IVAN") there are very Assertive, Friendly & Helpful. The Prices are the best in town by far & the property is Huge. The controlled climate inside the Bld. is beautiful. The New Member "Promotonal Special" are the best in town also, so come check them out you'll be very upset that you didn't in the long run. I've been a customer for several years and the service is just OK. The front office staff is okay, and at times can be very disorganized. However, the guys who work on the floor are great. FACTS: - Scheduled initial pickup was 4 hours late which resulted in important missed client meetings. *The Robert Z review is actuate in the "Unit and Pickup" shuffle.

This seems to be their MO. - Took 5 calls and 7 months just for them to install new row of lights where my unit is. - ONLINE PAYMENT IS NOT SECURE - It is a cheap mobile application. I addressed this with management several times since 2015 and offered a vendor referral. THEY DON'T CARE. - ONE day late in paying your bill? They will IMMEDIATELY harass you with calls IN THE MORNING, even on weekends, then move on to your second contact harassing them if you do not return their call. - Have paid bills right after receiving the first harassing call, then the next day received YET ANOTHER CALL because the disorganize front office did not check my account. - Place is VERY CLEAN and secure.

You must show ID to get in and are serious about it. Management puts on a good show to "get you in, " but once they get you, its all about the money. Surprised by lack of tech prowess seeing that Israel (where the owners are from) has the most startups concentration in the world and is light years away in advanced technology. Other than these issues, the main one being a non-secure payment system which is very scary, I feel that my belongings are in a clean, secure place for the security seems to be quite good.

Very professional, great prices. Only $54 a month for the smallest cube (which is plenty of space for 1 person's belongings, minus furniture). Spaces are clean, well kept, and secure.

I decided to use NYC Mini Storage as I was moving from one apartment to another. I only needed one week of storage and I had very few belongings. Because of this I was given a very reasonable quote, only to find out that I would be scammed out of another $1000 in miscellaneous expenses. I was very disappointed that I had been a victim of their scam but I paid up and got over it.

One month later I started receiving frantic phone calls, text messages and emails requesting payment on my unpaid balance. Not only had this company made $1200 in a period of a week but now they were requesting that I shell out another $150! I called to inquire about the error that had been made to which they placed me on hold until the phone was disconnected.

I finally was able to get through to a customer service representative who agreed that the error had been made on their end and he promised to remove the charges from my account. He was not successful and I am still dealing with the stupid calls on a daily basis. NYC Mini Storage and Ben Hur Moving Company are incredibly inefficient, disorganized, unprofessional and their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. NEVER USE THIS STORAGE COMPANY.

OVERALL: It is run by people who ARE VERY DISORGANIZED when you need "same page organization." Nice people but, I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO AUTOPAY FROM YOU CREDIT CARD. I buy and pay with a gift card that has exactly the amount I own them. You can pay online which is nice. Read on if you want the story. They say "you get what you pay" for and this is the case. Although, NYC mini Storage is a great deal.

I found them to be a great headache on top of the headache of moving. In viewing units they are nice. I also like that you can hold a unit without putting any money down and you get a month free (which turned out to be a ruse.) However, I found this to be the beginning of "THE KAFKAESQUE RIDE." I called four days out to confirm 2:30pm curbside pickup and my unit's hold.

They did not have me on file. Just to make sure, I called two days out. Same thing. I called again one day out and they had me on file but informed me that my 2pm pick up was schedule "between 2-3pm" which I was not informed of earlier and changes the dynamics of the move. The driver was no where to be found by 3pm. When I called, I was shuffled around and put on hold.

They tell you that the rental dept. is separate from truck dispatch as an excuse. After 8 calls I finally got through to a manager in dispatch who released a truck at 3pm. He went to the wrong address and when the driver and I spoke on the phone he "insisted" that he was "in front of my building" despite me being actually there. I told him I could see his big truck parked on "the next block." When we got to the load in dock I was informed that my unit was not available and they gave no reason.

I suspect the no money down for a hold is a "ruse" to hook you in. How could this be if I "had it on hold?" No one seem to know or care to answer it. They just want your money. They also immediately asked me to fill out paperwork to get my money. This happen during the load in twice by two separate reps (because Peter does not know what Paul is doing.) Since I was over 3 hours late and my help had to leave I insisted that this could be handled when I'm fully loaded in. They complied.
