Services
Broad Street Movers charges by the hour with a 2 hour minimum on all jobs with the following exceptions. The last few and first few days of each month as well as weekend days are subject to a 3 hour minimum. After the hourly minimum, we then prorate by the quarter hour. We accept payment in either cash or credit card.
In some cases we can bring your furniture through a window or balcony. Hoisting is done at the discretion of your moving crew. If they feel that a particular situation is unsafe or will lead to damaging your items, they will refuse to hoist. We usually have to disassemble items like beds, tables, and desks to get them out of your current apartment or home.

We hired this company to move us from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. Every part of the process was easy and handled well. They were able to book us a month in advance, provided tips on things I hadn't thought about like getting a parking permit for the truck, and their bid was lower than others I'd looked at. They also asked for photos to get an idea of how much stuff we had, which I liked.
On moving weekend, they were prompt and got to work right away. They carefully packaged our furniture and handled everything with care. The team in Philly included Walter, Wyatt and Dan. They were professional and friendly. The next day they drove their truck to our new place in Pittsburgh and once again were prompt. Walter, Max and Michael got to work unloading.
They were friendly, willing to move boxes and furniture to the exact spots we wanted and once again everything was handled with care. Would definitely recommend this company, they took all the stress out of it!

This crew is the real deal. Friendly pros who give you great value. Jesse did a great job. Super responsive and took the time to see our place and generate an estimate. We've used Broad Street Movers twice so far, and can't stress enough how wonderful both experiences were! They made moving day so much less stressful. Travis and Walter helped us during our latest move and were AMAZING, especially considering they had to move our things from a 3rd floor walk-up apartment on a 90+ degree day in the dark (our power was shut off early that morning). They were super friendly, efficient, and professional. We will definitely use Broad Street Movers again next time. I highly recommend!

Broad Street Movers were a pleasure to work with. They helped me move my entire house into their storage facility when my closing fell through at the last minute. When my new home was finally ready they delivered all of my goods. Everything was placed where I wanted and everything was in the same condition as before. I've moved twice with Broad Street and they're always fantastic. Moving can be stressful but the staff of Broad Street is so professional they make it a breeze. I have some crazy heavy stuff and they got it done with zero issues. It also started to hail and pour rain halfway into the unload and our three movers remained cheerful. They were on time and finished HOURS sooner than I had expected.
