Zach and Randee were very professional, courteous, and respectful. They quickly assessed our needs and got to work, carefully protecting and handling everything while moving my elderly parents into an assisted living facility. They made what could have been a long process, very smooth and quick. I am so appreciative. My family has always had great moving experiences with Gouffon Moving & Storage.

We moved from Tennessee to Indiana and had an exceptional experience with Gouffon. From the initial visit from the estimator to final delivery the guys were very personable as well as professional. We would absolutely recommend Gouffon. The price was very competitive and they held to their guaranteed price quote. We've made several moves with national movers and haven't had near the experience as we've had with Gouffon.

Our Knoxville office was well taken care of by Gouffon's team as we moved to a downtown office. Their service went above and beyond! They were able to adapt to last minute changes and handled all our office supplies with care. They thought through all aspects of the move, were communicative, and came prepared so that we were operationally organized the day of the move. The Gouffon moving team was fantastic! Brandon and his crew, Chase and Mike, arrived on time and quickly had a game plan for moving items off the truck. Everything was placed correctly. They were courteous and friendly and worked well as a team. I would recommend Gouffon to anyone who is considering a move.

Jon and Cody kept me up to date with their approximate arrival time, and they arrived within the window I was given. They worked quickly and were very careful with my furniture. They were friendly and professional. I am extremely satisfied with the work they did. I have used Gouffon previously, and I will use them again if I need furniture moved.

Using Gouffon movers was a great experience! They were so helpful and responsive from the first phone call and followed up afterwards to confirm details. They were on time and respected our items with a lot of care. They moved us out of an apartment to a home in a quick efficient manner. They had all of their necessary packing tools and it was smooth sailing after that. The employees were all so respectful and pleasant during the whole process. I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future if needed.

Great experience for the first time using a moving company. The movers; Charles, Alex, and Anthony were friendly, and very efficient. I would definitely use Gouffon again without any hesitation. Gouffon was also the best price between three other Knoxville/Powell companies.

We are so happy we chose Gouffon Moving and Storage for our out of state move. Jake, Joshua, and Grant showed up right as expected and were fantastic. For as tough of a job as they have as movers they never missed a beat. No matter what came up, they always went above and beyond to help and maintained a professional and friendly attitude throughout the entire process.

The office staff that I worked with during the scheduling and confirmation process (Blake and Connie) were great as well. We would definitely chose this company again and would gladly welcome Jake, Joshua, and Grant back to move us anytime.

We had a 6' 300 lb vanity that needed to be relocated from our garage where it was dropped off on a pallet to our upstairs bathroom. It was a heavy lift with a tight turn at the top of the stairs but Don, Cody and Grant did an amazing job. They were very professional and took extra caution to care for our item and their fingers. Safety first! Gouffon relocated our whole home a few years ago and we had excellent service then as well. Highly recommend.

I can not begin to express my appreciation for the entire Gouffon Team. we were moving my father-in-law to assisted living and received a call it wasn't going to happen because of Covid exposure, etc. I was in a panic! We reached out to Gouffon and got the move scheduled the following day! The receptionist, Taylor in scheduling and Gideon and Cody N all came to the rescue! Everyone was kind, thoughtful and respectful of the situation. Gideon and Cody were polite, conscientious and very efficient! You have a very loyal customer!

DJ HAMILTON, AUSTIN HAMILTON AND ZACK CRAWFORD DID A STUPENDOUS JOB PACKING OUR HOUSEHOLD GOODS IN TENNESSEE AND MOVING US TO NORTH CAROLINA. THEY WORKED TIRELESSLY AND TOOK GREAT CARE TO ENSURE OUR THINGS WOULD ARRIVE IN GREAT SHAPE. GOUFFON DID A SUPERIOR JOB FROM START TO FINISH.

Movers were very professional, polite and completed move in a timely manner. I would recommend this company. We have had many moves before, and always had some damage. Not this time. Our movers were Jake, Charles, Philip and Joshua.

Brandon and his 2 helpers did a great job a d were very considerate to my feelings. It was very hard watching them pack my furniture in general let alone watching furniture go into storage that belonged to my great grandparents. Fingers crossed when it arrives at our new home all is in good condition. Thank you!

Gouffon packed up my house in TN, kept my items in storage for a few weeks and then delivered everything to MD. The two packers (DJ and Unc) were courteous, efficient, thorough and extremely patient with me as I was working from home that day. The two movers (Jake and Joshua) who delivered my items to MD did an amazing job! I have some heavy furniture and I moved into a townhouse with a lot of challenging steps but I didn't hear them complain even once. Gouffon has top notch workers who delivered service with a smile!

We use Gouffon for every move. They are always available in a timely manner. They handle my furniture like it is their own. They work fast and efficient. Used them 3 times in the last 2 years. Highly recommend them. Support our local folks.

The three young men who came to help an us move to our new home were incredibly helpful! D.J. Hamilton, Austin Hamilton & Deagelo Rogers we appreciate you so much. They took time to wrap and protect each piece of furniture as it was their own. The truck was completely full with not an inch to spare. Brandon and the rest of his crew were excellent. They were very careful with our belongings, wrapping everything in blankets then in shrink wrap. They were all very nice, fun to visit with and never complained once even carrying some very heavy items up a hill around our house, navigating a tight stairwell and dodging lots of people as the previous owner was still moving out. Awesome guy's, great experience, would highly recommend.

If I could give this miserable company zero stars, I would, because the estimator for Gouffon who came to my home told bald-faced lies to his manager. Find another company. I did.

I have moved 7 times with a moving company, three times across the country and four times locally. I was unfortunate enough to try Gouffon for my last move in Knoxville. It cost over $2500 to move about 5 miles in Knoxville and the move was a disaster. The crew and the driver were at each other's throats for the whole move and they left as soon as the truck was unloaded. Suggest you keep looking for another mover.

They may be fine for a 2 bedroom apartment but not a family home. Staff not presentable. Near the project end they skipped packing several kitchen drawers. Found items put in box with no packing materials for protection. Garage items with their sticker for packing not loaded. Need I go on.

Scheduling for the moving day then running into complications and having to have them keep the items in the truck overnight from day one everyone was great. Definitely will use again if I need to and will recommend to anyone that is moving.

My husband and I just moved to the area from out of state and needed help unloading all of our belongings off the moving truck into our new house. When I called to get a quote, Taylor was very helpful answering all of my questions and providing an estimated cost. Gouffon's prices were the best out of the 4 companies I got quotes from. Not having an hourly minimum was nice, especially because we didn't think our job would take too long.

On the day, the crew showed up on time and were friendly and professional. The moved everything into our house quickly and safely and made sure to ask us where everything needed to go. The guys even moved some furniture around after we changed our minds and brought a few items in from the garage. We were very satisfied with our moving experience and would highly recommend Gouffon Moving!

Gouffon has been in business since the century turn. (I guess) They enjoy an excellent reputation so we decided to get a quote from them for our move from Crossville. Their quote was $1980.00 or so. What do we know, so we scheduled our move with them. Just to be on the safe side we decided to get a quote from Gordon's in Crossville. They also enjoy a fine reputation.

Their quote was $980.00. We went with Gordon's. They were on time, courteous, helpful and nothing was broken. Their final charge was $880 for the move. No matter how you figure, they saved us a thousand bucks.

I had an "easy" move - only moving from the third floor to the first of the same apartment building, but had a great experience with Gouffon Moving. I had called three different moving companies for quotes and they were all ridiculously expensive or already booked. Someone named Taylor was very nice and helpful over the phone and explained that there is a "service fee" (their service fee compared to other moving companies is a little high) but there is NO minimum required hours.

Other moving companies have a two hour minimum. This was why I ultimately ended up choosing them. Gill and Shawn (could be misspelling) showed up on time and were fun great guys. They carefully handled everything and hooked up my washer and dryer with no problem. No complaints at all. One of the movers had put a part of my desk that came off in his pocket and forgot it.

When I called him to ask about it, he immediately told me as soon as he was finished with his second job he would return it and he did. No complaints, would highly recommend them!

This is the best moving company we have ever used. We have moved all over, several times. They were extremely professional and finished earlier that we expected. We would use them again and highly recommend them. They have been in business for my than 50 years and we certainly know why!

I hate giving two stars. We had a great experience with the crew that came to pack our house. Very personable and friendly. The issue came when a TV was busted during the move and discovered when they were unpacking the truck. We were not upset that the tv busted, accidents happen but the issue is with the fact the situation hasn't been rectified yet, over 3 weeks later despite multiple calls and emails from my husband. They person he is supposed to talk to is never there and doesn't return phone calls/emails. We will attempt to contact AGAIN today.

Local move within Knoxville, TN We just moved last week from an apartment to a house. The moving started late due to truck problems. (Seems to be a consistent problem for them) Moving team at my apartment had nothing to do, once they arrived in a personal car and prepped our furniture while waiting for truck. While I had communicated that we had a storage facility to be moved and the new home had a steep hill no one communicated this to the team.

I had been assured someone would evaluate moving site, never happened until day of move. The failure to communicate accurate information to moving team delayed move significantly as it took about two hours to sort everything out and evaluate uphill driveway. This delay affected our timeline in completing our move. (We had moved approximately 2 miles from apartment) I would hesitate to recommend this company for being somewhat expensive and being marred by poor coordination between sales team and movers.

Despite everything team was professional in the face of obstacles presented and strove to meet our needs. If not for delays and general confusion would have gotten a higher rating.

I would use Gouffon for a local move in a heartbeat. They moved me twice locally and did an excellent job. When I moved out of state, they seemed more out of their element. Some of my belongings were damaged and their contract employees out of state were less than honest about the damage caused. I E-mailed Blake about the damage and never heard back. I will take care of the expenses, but I don't feel the same about this company anymore.

Great company, great movers. They were on-time, organized, and efficient. MUCH better than our Chicago moving company. My only complaint (if you could call it that) is that I wish they had been more flexible with start-time for our move. Nevertheless, I would definitely use Gouffon again. Thanks, guys!

I'm still unpacking from the Monday move with Gouffon (sounds like goof on). They did a great job, Jeremy & Zach were both hardworking, polite & friendly. I quizzed them on local eateries & area things-to-do and they had some great ideas. It was a smooth operation from the booking to the pre-move confirmation and eventual move. BBB also rates them highly.

Outstanding! I recently made a short small move and their response was exceptional. Eddie, the person who called me, treated me like I was making a corporate move. When move day came not only were the two movers extremely professional (Donte? and Nathanial?) but they assembled my furniture even more securely than I originally had! My children who are 11 and 12 commented on their work. I will use Gouffon again. And the cost? They moved me for less than quoted.

These guys were great. I moved from Chattanooga, TN to Boston, MA. They quoted me a price over the phone and that price stuck. Because I was a long distance move, the gentleman actually gave me his cell phone number incase of problems. The price was cheaper than what several national companies quoted. On moving day they carefully wrapped and moved my furniture. The movers were very friendly. If I ever need to move back to TN, I will definitely be calling them.
