Self Storage: A/C & Garage Storage By Hide-Away

Helped with moving all my furniture into two units and explained the cost and that I needed insurance for my units. Made easy transition.

I spoke to Brian, who was wonderful, the week prior to my move. Rachelle accepted my frantic calls throughout actual moving day. I was very impressed with both. They were friendly and accommodating. Rachelle (I'm sorry if I'm getting your name wrong!) stayed late because not all of my stuff fit into a unit and I needed additional space. The responsiveness was great and I also appreciate her staying later than her shift to ensure I was taken care of!

The Mrs and I rented a truck online.day of, we go to get the truck.it says call This number we.wait on hold 45 minutes.woman form U-Haul gets on and says something wasn't done right and there aren't any keys for us.so.we have no truck and we are moving today.never seen anything like it before.stay away

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, went above and beyond to assist me with any problems. Quick and easy to use facilities. Manager Brian was very helpful and responded and followed up with calls which is hard to find with most companies, usually you have to chase them down. Had nothing but positive things to say about hideaway storage.

Quick and easy to get a storage unit. More expensive than I thought it would be, but that's life. Seems clean and well kept. Edit 6months later: Rental went up $16/mo to $125/mo for small unit.

This family owned business treats people right and goes above and beyond what's necessary in their contract and is one of the most secure operations you can find. Highly recommended.

Excellent service by Kim! I had two separate storage units which were very clean and easy to get in and out of. Everything I needed to move to and from in one spot (inc U-Haul truck). Well-maintained and worth the $$ @ Hide-away Storage on Beneva! I highly recommend this place!

Out of all the storage facilities I could have chosen hideaway was the best choice, in the 5years I had my unit I never had any issues the facility is always clean and the best part is being able to have access 24-7! When it came to moving out Kim went above and beyond to make my move easy and stress free! Definitely would use again if needed.

We chose Hide-Away storage on South Beneva Road in Sarasota due to a recent move. We had used a storage facility up North - so we are familiar with this type of business. Terry, the manager, couldn't have been more helpful, responsive or efficient. She has really been a pleasure to deal with. The unit we have is very clean which is important. We would recommend this facility if you are looking for storage.

Jason, the manager, and the rest of the staff were amazing. I must have made 4 trips to this facility for boxes, mattress covers, tape etc. They helped to carry things out to the car and load everything. They were very professional and efficient. Thank you for helping with the moving/packing supply component!

My experience with Hide-Away Beneva Road has been great. Their facility is secure and clean, including the restrooms. They understand customer service and it shows. Hide-Away Beneva is highly recommended.

I had to rent a storage quickly and move out of my place at the start of the covid-19 pandemic because I was furloughed. I picked Hide-a-way storage because the rates were VERY reasonable and upon arriving at the facility I also discovered that the inside facility was entirely climate controlled, which I then knew my things would be kept in good condition.

The facility is super clean and I didn't see any rodent droppings or bugs, they provide carts, clothes racks and Dolly's which are left in the hallways and there's even a clean bathroom m/f when you need a potty break! To seal the deal Terry the manager is SUPER AWESOME (love her) she really took care of me understanding my situation and was really helpful with selecting the best size unit for my things. I would definitely rent from there again when the time comes - and I'll most likely be putting Terry on my holiday card list, thank you so much!

I have rented storage units on and off for years. So, this is actually the first review I have written. Hide- Away-Self Stoage on Beneva proved the best experience of all. Terry Millet, the Facility Manager is not only a top notch professional, but extremely personable and she genuinely cares about meeting your needs. She is a good listener and responds accordingly! She is a real "Top Notch" professional and a tremendous asset to Hide-Away Self Storage!

The office staff is very friendly and accommodating! Clean facility and had no issues during my 2 1/2 year time with them. The best part is that they have no contracts and I only had one slight increase; didn't even exceed $10! I'd recommend them for storage and will use again in the future!

A wonderful, professional, 'easy' experience! The storage facility & units on Beneva Road, Sarasota are absolutely immaculate & all sizes are available which was ideal. The prices were fabulous too! Nothing like being treated like a VIP! This storage facility is absolutely pristine! The floors were so shiny and spotless that I was simply blown away, in fact Nando who takes care of the facility, was there and explained to me how he maintains the floors. Leslie and Judy at the front office were exceptional in handling my storage needs. Their professionalism and desire to go the extra mile for me, only added to visual cleanliness of the facility.

While other storage options were closer to me, I can say with complete confidence that not only will my unit be protected from the elements, but also that the care and customer service is truly first class and I would only use them for all of my storage needs. All and all a terrific experience! :

WOW! What a facility! And Scott and Bruce rock! Hide Away storage is the largest and cleanest storage property I've ever seen ( and this comes from a perpetual gypsy!) Also great rates and online specials. It's super convenient to Brandon and Tampa (worth the trip) and the customer service is amazing! Bruce and Scott excel at customer service, making sure that you have the correct size unit for your needs, etc.

And so friendly and professional too! Did I mention the fresh baked cookies or complimentary COLD water, after all the schlepping? They also are a U-Haul facility, offer various size boxes, locks and other items for your move. Personally I've used other YELP recommended storage facilities in Tampa that were fine, but I didn't know what I was missing until I came here. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

I kept my belongings here for 6 months while our home was being built :) This place has the best customer care on location, I would recommend to everyone! Scott is the best, he called this morning to give me a refund for moving out early :))) You always pay a month in advance here, very convenient.
