The only reason that I am giving this moving company 1 star is that they showed up. DO NOT use this moving company. My washer and dryer are both broken, my husband and I are sleeping on a mattress on the floor because they did not have the tools to take the bed apart! They were in a temporary truck as they said they had no tools, and both movers reeked of marijuana. My husband and I had to hire someone else to finish moving us. It was the worse experience ever!

Easy Moving Company saves the day! When the other movers I hired left me high and dry, I contacted Easy Moving Company and they were just so helpful, prompt, and efficient. The owner and all the workers were so personable. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks guys for saving me a huge headache, truly!

Critical: Professionalism DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER. Took them more than 14 hours to move a 1900 sq ft house. Were smoking inside the truck with my belongings damaged multiple items. Didn't care I was 6 months pregnant and carrying boxes bc they were moving so slow. James was awful. DONNOT USE.

Worse moving company ever they charged me over the amount because of poor planning make sure you request a virtual tour but even then their dispatcher is not very knowledgeable of what will fit in their small truck. A 26 footer from U haul is bigger than the truck they will bring to pick up your items. The delivery guys started arguing and throwing racial slurs at one another and one threatened to leave.

Only two men came to move a 4 bedroom house and they complained the whole time. They have no packing material not even enough blankets to move the furniture. Tore up a couple of my pieces of furniture and after 4 months they wanted to pay $51.00 to replace. Please please please don't waste your time with this unprofessional company. Unless you want to be disappointed and pay more than you should.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They make me sick. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They scratched my walls like crazy. They were throwing things from the third floor to the ground floor of my apartment so they didn't have to walk up and down the stairs. Then they took an hour and a half over what they were supposed to. We don't have that much stuff.

It's a one bedroom apartment. Then they have the nerve to tell me that they are supposed to be tipped. I found8 things they broke that were bubble wrapped and in boxes labeled FRAGILE! And now I have discovered that they lost a card that my dad who passed away wrote to me. I had put it inside a coffee table and told them to be careful I had important things in it. The guy picked it up by himself and carried it sideways. Oh and you can't get a response from the claims department either. HORRIBLE!

I hired this company to move me into my brand new build. Unfortunately, their employees crashed into my wall during the move and created a HUGE GASH in the wall. I filed a claim with the company and they had the audacity to tell me after "their investigation" that they are not claiming responsibility. What clowns conducted this investigation? Who did you question?

The movers who damaged my property who have every reason to lie to keep their jobs. Or did ya'll decide not to take responsibility so you don't have to pay for the damage you created? This is a brand new house. There are one million walk throughs done before moving day supporting that my home was flawless before my wall was crashed into by the movers.

Of course YOUR investigation shows that you arent at fault. Are you calling me a liar because my wall was flawless before your movers crashed into it. If they didn't do it, who do you geniuses think crashed into the wall with the heavy furniture the movers were carrying on the same day and time the movers were there? DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THEY WILL SCAM YOU AND RUIN YOUR BRAND NEW DREAM HOME THEN SAY YOU LIED ABOUT IT.

Most of the reviews I read had me a little worried about the crew, but that the office was usually on top of things. This would be the first time I was extremely satisfied with the crew despite having miscommunication with Rhonda in the office. I specifically asked for a box truck and not a trailer because I didn't want to have scuffed furniture or debris, and I have tall pieces of furniture that may not have fit.

I did this a month in advance, and followed up at least twice. I was called the night before and told that the 26' truck I asked for was no longer available, but that Rhonda would send a 20' cargo truck. I asked if a lift gate and/or ramp would still be included, and she said yes. What arrived was a 20' trailer instead. I called, and was asked why I was so hesitant to use the trailer, but this was my decision -- I am the customer, so it should not have been asked of me.

The great thing is the two gentlemen Joe Young and Wayne were absolutely incredible in their skills of wrapping/protection/moving up two flights of stairs. They were patient, and the overall experience ended up being good.

Do NOT hire this company! Was the worst moving experience I've ever had. Had multiple pieces of furniture scratched, chipped and broken! We moved into a brand new house and had multiple walls damaged! Horrible customer service! My husband we and rent the same size truck as the movers had. Loaded it by himself and unloaded it by himself before their 2 movers did. Ridiculous!

I used them again and this time the movers came extremely late. The moves my things at a pretty slow pace going over the 2 hr min by 5 mins and charging me an extra $62 for it.

First of all, I never post reviews unless they're good. Second, I work in customer service and the last thing I ever want to do is complain on a company, or a person in particular. I won't go into detail about my FULL experience which was BEYOND terrible, a nightmare, but all you need to know is one of their movers, who had previously claimed they were a contractor (later finding out they were an actual employee), ROBERT, tried to steal our TVs.

That was only the icing on the cake. The rest of the day before that was even worse. Robert made our moving day miserable. He was rude, complained the second he walked into our door to begin the move, and completely unprofessional, asking if my roommate and I (two young females) lived alone, prior to taking off his shirt and making a smart ass remark when he was told nicely to put it back on.

I feel like nothing more than that needs to be said so I'll leave it at that. I am begging you not to use this company. A number of our furniture was ruined, and they are obviously dismissive to their clients. We had used this company before and they were great, unfortunately Robert ruined our second experience and we will never be back. I wish I would've called my group of friends to help instead. Listen to the bad reviews - it's a clear picture.

These movers move very fast but don't let that fool you. 9/10 it is because they are not padding any of your things which also means when you finish your move you will find hella things that are broken. I called in the day after my move and the office woman directed me to file a claim and told me I'd hear back Friday of that week. Here it is 2 weeks later and I've heard absolutely nothing. Easy movers damaged an armoire by dropping it in a move and claimed they would pay for repairs. I've called and spoken with the same woman more than five times but it has yet to get resolved even after emailing them the requested three estimates. That is as far as I've gotten with this. If you value your furniture you WILL NOT want to call on EZ Movers.

How this place is still in business is beyond me. The owner James Pless and his crew damaged virtually everything we owned. After doing some digging I even found that CBS news did an expose on this company because they suck so bad. Wish I would have watched it before we hired them.

Had few furniture damaged after move and no response from them. Called and they said to send email to claim and nothing happened. Took 2 hour of move out and 3 hour move in new place with broken headboard and bed and bed frame and office desk. And some scratch on dresser. Very disappointed. How to get them to handle the claim. Not going to wait 20 day or more

We had a great move with Easy Moving. They were a last minute life saver too. Our other movers fell through and thankfully Easy Movers had a last minute Saturday spot open up. They were reasonable price wise, curtious, punctual, and got us moved out and in to the new place in a timely manner. Glad we went with the by the job rate, then there were no surprises in the end. Thanks Easy Moving, and blessings for all that you did to help us.

I would give negative stars if I could. I had them move from a storage building that another company had wrapped keep in mind I have a one bedroom 800 square ft apartment then I had a bedroom suit at my daughters where I was staying they said no more furniture would fit on the truck after the storage building. we would need to make 2 trips. really get a big enough truck so 2 trips from North Richland Hills to Euless in traffic paying by the hour.

Second trip when I asked them to wrap my furniture they just layer blankets over it in the truck.on the way to Euless he made a wrong turn pulled a I turn in the middle of the street faster than a small car should. Every piece of my furniture is in some form or fashion messed up. I'm sure this is when everything crashed and broke. Most importantly there was when a leg was broke off and leaned against a wall and the tv was smashed.

But call to let them know I'm told send an email to the claims department week and a half later no word. I call the company to get answers not as friendly as before they get your money. They know nothing about the claims department not their name not their phone number. Owners name is James Pless butt no phone number he's not in and no email. The guy moving said they just call random people that are contracted to do the work so I guess if you have a good move you are one of the few lucky ones.

Also they said they have 90 days to get to my claim. really I have a busted tv. I found out when cable came to hook it up so do they want to pay my cable bill while I stream through my mobile phone. This may be small claims court if I don't get answers fast. My name is Sandra Smith and you moved me on Dec 5 if you want to get back to me anytime soon. Look me up in your records.

They damaged virtually every piece of furniture they moved. A door was broken off my very expensive antique dresser, knobs broken off the tv stand, a knob jammed into another dresser drawer and the center broke out, every piece was scratched in multiple places. I tried filing a claim with the insurance we paid for and they denied it. They did a terrible job managing space and tons of stuff got left behind for us to try to deal with later. Not to mention the movers squeezed us for a big tip in cash and told us not to write the amount on the form. Worthless company. Shady movers. Absolutely do NOT recommend.

I have used and referred these movers numerous times, however, I had a horrible experience last month with them. I was told they were not available on the date I selected, which was fine. Then received a message they could squeeze me in and I would receive a discount for the miscommunication (which of course I did not receive). The day of my move I called to report an occurrence of theft while the movers were still completing my move, there was of course not a manager or owner available and they would call me back the following day.

They never called. I attempted to contact them by email the next week and was told I would hear from the owner soon and still have not received a call. One of the three moving guys also had his significant other meet him at my house and storage units, where she sat with a baby all day- extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Definitely would not recommend or use again.

They're quick, professional, and courteous to their customer. If any damage done they'll take the initiative to repair to the damage which is much to say for most moving companies. I will definitely use their services again when needed. Thanks, Satisfied customer

This company is cheaper than most but we scheduled a move between 12pm- 2pm. I got a call from the the lady that worked there (who was super nice) at 1:30 saying that their truck broke down and that the other movers were currently moving somewhere else and wouldn't be able to come until 6pm. I had told her that I didnt want to schedule an hourly rate move during traffic because that's a waste when we had planned out the day to move.

She said that they would just charge me the mileage and how far it was. They did show up exactly at 6pm and then started arguing with me about the pricing. I called the lady back and had him talk to her and it was just a yelling match for about 10 minutes. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. We were already annoyed that it was 6 hours late and now this guy was yelling back and forth about how they screwed him over on the last move he was at.

I tried to let him know that it wasn't my fault and that he was also 6 hours late to MY move. It was supposed to be a fun move for us that turned into a complete shit show. They then told me that they didnt have enough room for my sofa, tv stand, washer and dryers. Not sure why they brought a pickup truck that was hauling a small trailer. After sleeping on the beds we then realized this morning that there was a dip in my bed- to find out that i'm missing boards on the horrible assembly of the beds and missing 1/4 of the screws to my king bed. I wouldn't recommend this place at all- if I would've known I would've done it myself. Not worth the cheap price at all.

I would give them NO star, except it won't allow it. Don't go with this company. They lack integrity, don't care about you or your things, and are very unprofessional. They were supposed to send three folks, and one in particular I had requested, but they did not. The truck literally had a hole in it, which soaked my things, and boxes were thrown, furniture dropped, and just did not do a good job.

Also left a hole in my screen door. Then I had to help move, since they got lost, and didn't follow me as they had said, so my storage unit was about to be locked for the night. Then, on top of moving in the rain to another storage unit, my furniture was already soaked from the hole in the truck, plus they did not cover my items while they were being moved.

To cap it off, their battery ran down, so they asked me for a jump. When I told them I didn't have cables, they waited until I got back to my house to call me AGAIN and ask to get someone else to jump them. I tried to call to speak to management, but only got the run-around. James Pless owns this place, but apparently is too busy to be annoyed by customers, even thought their website promises satisfaction guaranteed to the end of the move. DO NOT use this company. You will be sorry!

They get a 1 star only because no star is an option. If you want your furniture destroyed, glasses broken, and total disrespect for your property then book them. They are guaranteed to be your worst nightmare! Don't do it! Trust me!

I can not stress enough how horrible my experience was with this moving company. The best part is it's over. The most unprofessional people I've ever met. I would never hire them again or recommend them to my worst enemy.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. All because they broke my tv, took over the 90 days they said they had to process my claim, and denied my claim. My tv was in working order, and then after they moved me it was completely shattered. Horrible customer service. I will never use this company again, and I would let want my worst enemy to use them either.

Pressures you into leaving a deposit for your move stating that they have to reserve truck (s), so I left $300 deposit and canceled (within a week) and my move was still 3 weeks out they had not reserved any trucks for me yet and still would not refund my deposit--said it was not refundable--- because I told them I could not afford their services.they still had 3 weeks to rebook someone else in my slot it was on a Sunday. Rhonda Miller did not tell me it was non-refundable when she asked me for it and I signed nothing! Everyone on the internet to beware!

We recently used easy moving company and had no problems. After reading the reviews here I got very nervous. All in all an easy experience. I would have given 5 stars if the movers themselves had a little more sense of urgency. But all my furniture arrived safely and unharmed. I would use again.

*** I should have checked Yelp first. *** CROOKS AND THIEVES. I hired EMC through Thumbtack to pack and load my house from Dallas for a move to Columbus. Their "team" were woefully amateur and lazy. Over half of my furniture pieces were left unwrapped and unprotected - including a fabric couch, piano, wine fridge, desks, dressers, just to name a few.

I authorized them to use as many moving pads as possible, as I was purchasing them from EMC at $5 each. The movers ignored this request. They did a TERRIBLE job packing the truck itself putting heavy boxes on top of lighter boxes and just throwing things in the truck knowing full well they weren't going to be the ones unpacking it on arrival.

One of the movers had his wife and kid show up at my house during the move and proceeded to use the kitchen and bathrooms without asking. Lastly, THEY STOLE FROM ME. I had several bottles of nice scotch that were unopened and still in their boxes. However upon arrival and unboxing, the boxes made it. but they were EMPTY. The bottles are nowhere to be found.

In summary, I have a house full of damaged furniture and now missing bottles of scotch. EMC has been extremely slow to respond to ANY of my correspondence and deflecting everything to their "claims" department. Luckily I used credit card to pay the first day, which I have since put a stop-payment on. They insisted on cash for the 2nd day - again, unprofessional but I relented. Huge mistake. NEVER pay them cash. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I have regretted every minute of this decision.

I need negative stars to review this company, showed up late, not in size truck they said they were bringing, damaged numerous items, flat rate is a joke and there were tons of hidden charges, the flat rate of 868 ended up being over 1200! and they wanted another full rate to finish the move! absolutely insane, and they have you over a barrel and think your just going to pay it. and they left all the heavy stuff at the house & I had to rent a u-haul to finish, complete and utter joke, had the owner of the truck screaming at me and making threats, it was all bad, bad, bad, run as fast as you can the other way,

The move in which i hired Easy Moving for was very straight forward, especially compared to what I'm sure they see on a daily basis. I had an arrival window of 11am-1pm on a Sunday. I received a call from their dispatch at 12:53pm stating the movers would be late due to an overran previous job, and they would be arriving between 3pm-4pm. Well, that's disappointing, but not the end of the world.

I proceeded with other moving duties and at 3:40pm, decided to call and get an update. The dispatch woman told me she would call the movers and call me back right away. Fast forward 50 minutes. I call AGAIN to get an update. I was told once more that she would have the movers call me themselves for an update. This time, i did receive an update within 5 minutes, but it wasn't what i had hoped for.

Yet again, i was being informed of further delay. Now they were to arrive at about 6pm, 5 HOURS after my reserved window. Absolutely ridiculous. My move took 2 hours, and was a simple 1 bedroom apartment, about as easy as it gets. All said and done, i was offered a 10% discount. I'm sorry, but my 5 hours i spent waiting around is worth much more than the 10% i was offered. The sad part is, i hired this company based on a referral. Boy did they blow it.

First of all, they were twice as slow as the movers supplied to me in my previous move which was 6 months before this one. It was the same amount of stuff, maybe even a little less. Both times there were 2 movers. And this time they did not have as far to go. So I have truly seen much better work. Also they seemed a little careless with my things.

At one point a container full of thumbtacks ended up on the floor because of them and they did not bother to tell me or try to pick it up even though it was their mess. One of the movers started asking me personal questions and also telling me the sordid details in the lives of my neighbors in the same complex. They were not professional, I would not use them or recommend them to other people. Don't do it, its not worth the cheaper price.

My ex and a I recently split up and he agreed to buy me out of our house but wanted me to move out within a week. I found a rental the same day (Monday) but was calling around trying to find someone to pack and move my things the next day (Tuesday) so I could get everything done the week before Christmas. No one was able to help me same day or even later on that week until I called Easy Moving. Luckily they were doing another move in my area so I requested they come at 2 pm and was told they could actually come earlier.they arrived at 115 pm.

I didn't have a whole lot of furniture to move.living room, 2 bedrooms, 3 TV's and personal effects (clothing, books, etc.) I also provided my own plastic storage bins that I'd used to move into the house. My specific instructions to them were to just throw everything in the bins but they still took care to show me any items that were broken (like my daughter's Nook which she'd broken a long time ago).

They also remarked about how amicable our split was compared to the some others they'd seen. Whole move from packing half of one house and then moving it to the other house and setting up the beds for me was 3 hours and 15 minutes. I really appreciate Steven and Joe for their assistance! ***Note sure why Yelp does not recommend this review.is it because it differs so much from the ratings of the other reviews (which are all old as far as I can tell?) Changing rating from 5 stars to 4 in hopes that it will be displayed.

Will definitely refer and use again! I called easy moving company for an emergency move out of my apt. I was in such a panic and the girl that I talked to in the office reassured me everything would be ok and they would be able to help me that day. She quoted me a very reasonable price and gave me a time for the movers to show up within a few hours!

I was so excited I started to cry :).The movers called me when they were on their way and showed up in the time frame that I was given. When they arrived they were so kind and made me feel so comfortable about my move. They loaded up all my stuff onto their moving truck and drove to my storage unit. I watched them move each piece of furniture and they were so cautious and gentle with my personal belongings.

After they finished I signed off on the contract, and received a copy of my own. I thanked them so much and tipped them. They don't have any idea how much they have helped. I love this company from the office girls to the movers. Keep up the great job. Will tell everyone about you.:)
