These two men did an amazing job on all counts-efficient, professional, contentious, so careful with our belongings, so kind to the 95 year old they were moving. They were right on time and had her moved out and moved in in just over 4 hours-all furniture placed and ready for her to start her new life! Great experience and would highly recommend!

The Team that moved us was exceptional. They arrived early and worked nonstop. I was really impressed w their efficiency, professional demeanor, and skill they had to move everything effortlessly. Richie M. and his team of professionals did an outstanding job on our move from Virginia to Delaware! The entire team's performance was excellent. They were very courteous and professional. Packing and delivery was done very efficiently. The team took great care protecting both of our houses during the loading and unloading process of our household goods.

Honestly, I've moved many times and this is the best experience I've ever had. The packing team were enthusiastic, cheerful, efficient, professional, immaculate, polite. The moving team were also extraordinarily cheerful, happy, and enthusiastic, seeing super heavy and difficult things and exciting challenges. They were tough, hard-working, well-organized.

I've actually never had movers who seemed so happy with their work and their company. The result, astonishing, first time ever, was zero breakage or loss of any kind. Wow! Fair and transparent pricing and well-organized prep too.

When we began planning our move, our son and daughter-in-law, who had used Able Moving themselves several months earlier, highly recommended them. They were a pleasure to work with, starting from the very beginning and all the way through to the end. We also would highly recommend them to anyone.

The crew sent were easygoing, hardworking, quick and honest. Able moving was available at a fairly short notice and came in over $200 cheaper than the three other companies I requested quotes from. Also at the end of the move the crew chief calculated the materials used and ended up refunding me $29. Unfortunately, a wall was damaged, it happens with big furniture in narrow stairwells, but by the time the afternoon came around able already had their repair guy call and schedule to come fix the wall!

I had a really great experience with Able Moving and Storage. It's so hard to know who to trust when it comes to your possessions, but they came recommended from Bookstore Movers, who don't do cross-country moves. Able's Anni Todd was a kind and responsive moving coordinator and Max Llaneza, sales, was helpful and honest. The moving team was terrific--very respectful and professional. I would definitely use them again.

The whole process was straightforward and professional. Jill, our move coordinator, was very helpful and even touched base with us on her weekend off. Anni, our scheduler, made sure our paperwork was correct and worked with us to keep the costs low. The crew, led by Joseph, did a phenomenal job. They showed up on time, quickly wrapped our furniture, efficiently loaded the truck, met us on time, and moved everything in with no fuss and zero damage. Could not have been better.

They have since apologized which seemed very sincere. I no longer think that they were intentionally misleading when they gave the time estimate, and that some of the cost estimate was most likely due to an error on my side. Although I'm appreciate of their customer engagement and they had no control of the shipping time once the boat left port (the actual shipping company is separate), I don't think I could give a 5 star review for something that took so long.

557520 was the crew that moved us from Northern Virginia to our new home two hours south. Our crew showed up on time, made face to face introductions, were kind and professional and worked extremely hard for eight hours packing us up. They cleaned everything on our lot before leaving. Next day they met us at the agreed time at our new place and spent sox hours moving in all our boxes and setting us up! Great crew led by a strong leader. Can't recommend this crew highly enough. Nothing broken or lost. Five stars!

I had a wonderful experience, the movers were very professional, prompt and helpful. I could not have done the move without them. I would never use anyone else if I ever need to move again. I'm so impressed!

Great experience! 500+ mile move went off without a hitch. From the pre-move communication to pickup to the delivery, the Able team worked like a well-oiled machine. Able Moving and Storage did a great job for us! It was definitely the best moving experience I've ever had. We had a full storage unit, full townhouse and our new house was 10 miles from there. They loaded everything up and moved it, and unloaded in just 7 hours! We highly recommend them for any moving and will use them in the future.

Able Moving recently handled our office move and did an absolutely excellent job. I recommend them very highly. I have moved (home and office) more than 20 times in my life and this was the best move ever. Wonderful team: I loved working with the crew members. The team leader was absolutely outstanding - extremely courteous, professional, and dedicated.

His leadership made everything go well, and it was very clear that he was 100% committed to making sure things were perfect. The whole crew showed great professionalism and customer service. They were very punctual, hard-working, and friendly. It was a pleasure to interact with them. Everything was left in great shape: The construction supervisor at our new office told me that he had never seen such an excellent job by movers in terms of leaving no damage at all.

He is especially focused on that because it is a brand new office and he inspected carefully after the move and said there was not a single scratch or dent. The team went the extra mile to protect our new doorway with cardboard and in general was meticulous about moving everything slowly and carefully to avoid messing up our new paint and construction. They treated everything like it was their own. I will gladly work with Able Moving & Storage the next time I move.

The movers arrived during their scheduled time, worked quickly and were very nice and polite. This was the first time I have used a moving company, so I called around to get a few quotes and some of the quotes were ridiculously high for a local move. Abel's prices were right in the middle, not to high not very low. Moving is expensive regardless so if I was going to pay for a move I wanted a company that was reasonable.

I read the reviews online before I made my final decision, and it was one of my best decisions I made because I didn't feel like I got ripped off or felt unsafe when the movers were in my home. I highly recommend.

We hired Able Movers in September, for a job I thought would be 3-4 hours. Luke and his co-worker were extremely professional and courteous, and even though the job ran long, taking almost 7 hours, they remained positive and did an amazing job! I can't say enough great things about Able moving! I never write reviews but felt I needed to on this one! 1st their Relocation Coordinator, Stephanie Mastbrook was such a pleasure to work with. She started by explaining the process, which for someone who had only moved once I had a lot of questions. I completed an inventory check list and Stephanie accurately told us the number of supplies we needed to pack ourselves.

I think we only had 1 extra box saving us time and money having to make multiple trips to get more supplies. The actually day of the move, our 4 movers arrived on time and quickly got to work after doing a walk around. They were professional and followed COVID precautions. When we arrived at our new home they assembled all our furniture that needed to be taken apart and beds. Having our two cribs assembled was so nice after a long day we didn't have to worry about that!

As we unpacked our kitchen not one thing was broken or ruined. No scratches on any furniture! Able moving hires staff that will treat your belongings as their own. Thank you again wonderful team for making this stressful time as easy as possible! job number [556303]

Re: 555449 Able Movers and Storage was the fastest and most efficient move I have ever done. I have moved a minimum of 8 times in my life. The Team lead explained before they began the process. All of my belongings were protected with blankets, tape and plastic. Once the Movers arrived at the new location, the Team lead did a walk through to verify were I wanted my things to go.

In a couple of hours they were done, which included loading and moving my belongings to my new location. I would highly recommend these guys for the next move. This was the best move ever! Thank you, Able Movers and Storage for your courtesy and professionalism throughout this process.

Able did a local move for me yesterday and it was a 5-star experience. They arrived on time, we did a walk through, and they went to it. We had a couple of tricky pieces, like glass-front cabinets where the glass would not remove, and they got it from a to b in perfect shape. They also got pretty much everything into the corresponding space in the new house and asked us about placement for large pieces. Honestly moving day couldn't have gone much better.

In the future, I'd appreciate if Able were to send written confirmation of a move at the time of booking, but they did get in touch a week in advance at least. All in all, would use Able again. Thanks!

I was very pleased with the services I received from this company. Derreck and Natalie were very knowledgeable and provided speedy responses. The moving crew was amazing. They were all friendly, polite and absolutely knew what they were doing. They helped make a stressful experience much better for me by their positive attitudes. I would definitely recommend Able Moving & Storage services.

If I were rating the management at this company alone my rating would be much lower. I think that they have gotten cocky and a bit conceited about moving in this market. Having said that, my moving experience was completely turned around by the great crew that came out to move me. Wilmer and his team of three other men did a good job getting some very heavy furniture up three flights of stairs in my new home.

After requesting additional protection for new construction walls and stairwell banisters, he accommodated me and had his crew better protect the walls and stairwells. Overall I had only a few minor damages that would've happened with normal wear and tear anyway. Had management been a lot better with communication and with really taking the time to hear the customer and address concerns a bit more professionally, then this would be five stars.

UPDATE: Melanie, the customer service manager at Able, contacted me after I left my review. She was very apologetic and took actions that I feel rectified the things that went wrong. Many times a loyal customer is made not because things went perfectly the first time, but because the business made a genuine and sincere effort to win back your trust.

I am happy with how things turned out. I am also satisfied that this was just a bad day and not a routine issue. I'm also told that the company has revised its protocol and all team members now wear masks. I don't recommend Able Moving. They straight-up lost a tall floor lamp - it wasn't left in my old place, never arrived to my new place, and they claim it wasn't in their truck.

A witch took it, maybe? They also just randomly didn't take things from my old place. They left things on the counter and left my broom and mop - for some reason, despite the fact that they were moving 100% of the non-appliance items out of the apartment, they just decided to leave a few random things. I am still discovering things that somehow disappeared between my old and new place.

I pointed out and verbally asked one mover to pick up some little things I had placed on the deck stairs to be picked up, and then left a message on their voicemail. The mover said he would grab them; that was ignored, as my old landlord reported that the items were left on the deck stairs where I placed them to be picked up. Every time I go to grab those things, I'm reminded that they were negligently and inexplicably left behind.

One was a medical device. Additionally, only one of the two movers wore a mask. Later I contacted them not to give me the money for the items, but to apologize. They stopped contacting me and never offered any recourse. This was in May 2020 and I'm still super annoyed.

Moved from herndon va. to palm coast fl. in april 2020. in every way able moving provided professional and safe workers. they were very careful with my belongings and seemed to really enjoy their work. they made my move so much easier and answered all my questions. when i finished unpacking there was a power unit missing for my couch. i called able and they spoke to the packers/movers. no one remembered seeing that outlet so i ordered one online and able moving promptly reimbursed me. i have highly recommended this company to my realtor, neighbors and friends.

Able Moving & Storage packed me up just short of 5 months ago for a journey from Virginia to Hawaii, in crates that went across the country, over the ocean, and to a dock where it sat, exposed to the elements for months due to COVID restrictions. With all that, because the Able crew packed my items so well and so thoughtfully, everything arrived safely, protected, and intact.

I am so amazed with each piece that I am unwrapping - all the care they put into my move. They had no idea what my household goods would go through before finally getting to me - and they took an extraordinary amount of care and attention with my items. And more than ever, I see the stark contrast from dealing with the work ethic from other companies. There's a great deal of vulnerability when it comes to moves.strangers coming in to my home, touching my things, and me having to trust the people and the process.

They called me and communicated with me from the start. The crew was so absolutely professional and trustworthy. They showed up on time and they were efficient throughout the entire process. I had 3 levels - tons of stairs, and lots of heavy items. I can't thank or praise them enough. With each piece I'm opening I'm singing their praises - so pleased with how they labeled everything so well and this company has quality, sturdy supplies - which made me want to come on Yelp and write a review and highly recommend them for any move/relocation needs.

I am so impressed and so very pleased with Able. I had the best experience and I am so grateful to the crew and this company. Also, random side note - I really like their logo, the colors, the box label lines and checklists, and the branding on their boxes and the paper that my glass and frames were wrapped in. I've used Able Moving & Storage two times in the last 3 years. Each time, the movers were courteous, fast and genuinely concerned with our stress levels and our property. "Sit back and relax, we have this" was uttered to me and maybe should be they're motto! We suffered no damage either time and in fact, the crew worked so fast, we received a rebate on the paid estimate both times. Highly recommend them to anyone unfamiliar with moving and who might need the right company to lessen the stress level a bit when moving.

Able did a local move for us this summer. The crew damaged our brand new home during the move. Proper padding, runners, etc were not provided or used. The crew was rude and argumentative when I pointed out the damage (stairs, floor, door jam). I've sent in pictures, notified the office multiple times, and filled out the proper forms but the operations manager still hasn't contacted me. UPDATE: I'm adding stars because the Len from Able contacted me just hours after this review was posted to apologize. A repair person called and is scheduled to come fix the damage.

To be completely honest, I never fully trusted anyone to ever move my stuff. But, moving from a townhouse to a house with a lot of furniture in tow, isn't something I wanted to do. Able Moving & Storage came highly recommended to help me and I see why. From the thorough estimate, to the payment/coordination process, to the move itself, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional.

The guys that helped us move were so fantastic and courteous, and they made my move so easy, that I'm still smiling. Thank you, to each of the staff, for making our move such a positive experience!

You get what you pay for. Moving is one of life's most stressful events. Hiring mover's that are extremely customer service oriented and professional help make moving much less stressful. Kudos to the entire staff at Able Moving. Jackie Kulick was my customer service rep and she went out of her way to make sure the move was as seamless as possible.

She also followed up after the move to make sure I was satisfied. The movers themselves were excellent; they ensured all items were packed properly and were very conscientious of the surroundings- they never bumped into a single wall. It's my pleasure to recommend Able Moving and Storage.

We had a really moving experience with Able! Seriously, this was as smooth and easy as a move can be, from the totally accurate estimate and professionalism of our estimator, to moving day itself. These friendly and totally competent movers never so much as bumped a wall or a corner in our BRAND NEW HOUSE (we were terrified!) As if that wasn't good enough, they were off-the-charts friendly and diligent.

They rolled out the red carpet (literally) throughout our old house and then our new one; they covered the carpeted stairs with plastic stuff; and the cheerfully delivered every box and piece of furniture exactly where we wanted them. Able moving helped me with my office move and the experience was nothing like what I had experienced with other moving companies in the past - I just have to say that the entire experience was as smooth as butter! Evan, Able's Commercial Moving Coordinator, went above & beyond with setting proper expectations in spite of the fact that I only called a week before the actual moving date during a busy season in early December.

On day of the move, I received a phone call about 45 minutes before the movers arrived alerting me that they were on their way. The two guys not only showed up early, but were professional and extremely efficient. In spite of the fact that I had some boxes that were not taped, they loaded everything in so smoothly and quickly. The loading process went a lot faster than I had anticipated.

My overall experience was so positive that I called my sales consultant, Ben afterward to let him know that I will be referring Able Moving for residential moves, as well as commercial. I cannot recommend Able Moving highly enough to anyone that has a moving coming up!

I used Able about 9 years ago to move me/store my belongings and had no issues. What a difference 9 years makes! Used them again in November to move out/store/move in. The main office staff itself seems disorganized and the group of movers who moved me in were clueless amateurs. They damaged the wall and ceiling with my queen boxspring. They could not get the hutch to my entertainment center around a corner.

They wanted to lift it up via my deck. I refused because with their performance and have a cracked deck on my newly constructed home. They dropped my elliptical and cracked it, and I have a scratch around the full circumference of my coffee table in which they will not cover the damages for.because it's within my 100.00 deductible.in which it took them one month to respond. Amateurs!
