Prior to construction of the Allen County Fairgrounds, the Allen County Fair was held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and other locations. With an original land grant from the county, our fairgrounds began as a self-supporting organization in 1989. It has been growing in size thanks to donations from corporate donors, area 4-H families, local civic organizations and other community-minded benefactors.
Whether you're planning a wedding, banquet, or corporate event, the Allen County Fairgrounds provide the perfect setting for your special gathering. Here, you'll find affordable options that accommodate groups of all sizes with any budget. Enjoy the freedom of selecting your own vendors and caterers to transform our spaces into the perfect backdrop for your event. Let the Allen County Fairgrounds be the canvas for your next masterpiece!
Accommodations for outdoor events: wedding ceremonies, picnic setup, inflatable kids entertainment, etc. By renting from the Allen County Fairgrounds, you make a positive impact on our community. The rental program helps our organization continue to support Allen County 4-H and provide a home for its annual fair.
Your yearly membership allows the Fairgrounds to function and gives you a voice. You are also encouraged to volunteer or sit on one of our many committees-from Buildings and Grounds to Fundraising. We need you! The Fairgrounds is not responsible for any lost or stolen passes and no replacement passes will be issued.

Our family always has fun when the 4H fair comes to town here. Fun for kids, and memorable for parents. Prepare to spend at the least couple of hundred for a family of 4-6. Wrist brackets for rides are $25/person which gives you unlimited rides. Food prices are a bit steep for elephant ears and drinks ($8/ea elephant ear, $4-$7 per drink). The best bang for your buck for food is at the place that sells hotdogs, pork loin sandwiches, walking tacos near the animal stables. (Affordable and pretty good)
