I had my things moved from AR to Denton. 2 pieces of furniture were broken, and the owner said they would take care of fixing them. Never happen.

Moving truck drivers nearly killed me by failing to look over before changing lanes. My hubcaps were damaged due to scraping against a barricade to avoid an accident. Driver and other employee flipped me off as they passed. Called company and hardly received an apology. Hope these employees were fired. Would not recommend this company as it is obvious that their employees are reckless.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. A few weeks ago, I was hit by a Garrett's Moving and Storage truck. We were traveling south on a two-lane highway, and the truck was in the inside lane while I was beside him in the outside lane. The driver decided to switch lanes and moved over on me. I hit my brakes, but since it was a two-lane highway, I had nowhere to go, and he hit me.

The driver pulled over, as well as witnesses. He got on the phone with his supervisor at Garrett's while a couple of other people called 911. When I asked the driver for his license and insurance, he said that he wasn't sure where the company kept their insurance on the trucks, wasn't sure if they even had any, and that his boss, Brandon, had instructed him NOT to show me his driver's license.

Then he showed the witness and I texts where Brandon was telling him to "leave the scene before the cops showed up." While we were waiting for the police, the driver received several phone calls from Brandon, who kept telling him to hurry and leave before the police arrived at the scene. I couldn't believe that this kid's supervisor was trying to get his employee to commit a crime. Fortunately, the driver ignored him and stayed until the police got there.

It turns out that Brandon was trying to force him to leave because Garrett's Moving and Storage DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE ON THEIR TRUCKS, which is illegal. The kid ended up sitting on the side of the road while the police towed the moving truck, and I ended up in the E.R. My car was completely destroyed. The next week, my attorney sent a letter to Garrett's, asking them to either produce insurance, or have someone contact us regarding payment for damages and medical bills.

They had a week to respond. They ignored the letter. So my attorney had to file a lawsuit. As of today, we have continuously tried to serve the owner of Garrett's with papers, and he is dodging them because he knows that he is going to be served. I am a single mother. All I want from this company is for them to take responsibility for their illegal actions, and they refuse to do it. I hope that everyone reading this will keep my story in mind before they hire this company. Do yourself a favor and find a moving company that insures their trucks.

We received a mattress delivery and both guys were very professional and courteous. They called 45 min before delivery which put them arriving at the start of the 2 hr window we were given. They unpackaged our mattresses using gloves, placed them on the beds and removed all trash. Very happy with their customer service.

Awesome the best! Garrett's is so professional they know what they are doing no job is to hard for them. They are experienced movers. Highly recommend.

Garrett's delivered my king sized mattress upstairs on Monday and did an excellent job - it was a tight squeeze, but they did it!. They arrived earlier than promised and of course called first. The owner, Brandon, also came by to see the delivery was handled properly. Thank you Adam and Brandon for a job well done! You have made an old lady very, very happy.

I absolutely recommend this company for moving. We moved in early June to our new house. I was witnessing how they moved the previous owner stuff out, seeing their job we haired them to move our stuff in. I trusted these 2 guys who looked and dressed neatly and treated to the furniture very carefully, covering each and every piece with the soft covers protecting the furniture from the scratches. It was fast, careful and professional. Thank you, team of Garrett's Moving & Storage company!

John and Robert came out on Saturday to help with our local move. They were both very hard-working and affable. They protected our old crappy furniture better than it deserved, and everything arrived to our new place fine and dandy. They even helped us move some items into a storage unit as we've downsized for a few months until our new home is ready.

We moved from a three-bedroom house into a two bedroom apartment on the third floor! This was a challenging move, but they stayed hydrated and completed the move successfully. Thanks! We're going to request that they help us again in the fall when we move to our new home.

I've used these guys over and over again since 2001. They are very dependable. My daughter used the to store off of her house contents for almost a year when she was building a new home. Everything worked out great when the house was completed and they delivered the contents. They have even showed up to move some things around my house the same day. I am not one that writes many online reviews, but I appreciate them very much!

Kudos to this company. I won't get into detail on the issue I had, but it was an honest systems issue that can happen with any business. That being said, they were extremely patient with me. Item was delivered on time and the movers were great. Also, kudos to Susan at dispatch.

My move was very smooth and came in under bid there was no damage to my furniture was well paded and shrinked wrap movers were on time and on top of that was able to get a hold of the estimator at all time of the day if i had any questions about the move i will recommended them to any one who moves.
