In 1959 Duncan Machinery Movers was 5 employees, 1 crane, and a two-room shop. Since then we have evolved into one of the largest, most comprehensive, most respected machinery moving concerns in the region. We now field up to 150 crew members every day, and we operate an extensive fleet of cranes, lift trucks and other equipment. If all our clients ever asked of us were simple moving jobs, we would still be in that two-room shop.
Duncan's industrial contracting and project design is well known for its quality, capability and expertise in a wide range of industry applications. Our project engineers have the knowledge and experience for estimating, coordinating and scheduling a variety of construction projects, including complete plant and factory relocations and rearrangements, diversified machinery moving and rigging, turnkey installations and in plant relocation projects, ironwork and steel fabrication, simple and complex millwright work.
To move your equipment safely and properly, and place it accurately and precisely, we have to have the right tool for the job. Since we take care of all kinds of jobs, we list all types of equipment. Most of our equipment is listed below. Check out our media library for photos of the equipment and our employees working hard for our customers.

The receptionists at this company are the most unprofessional and rude women I've ever had to deal with. I don't know if there are 2 of them or 1 of them with multiple personalities. I called to speak with a decision maker for a certain department and I was told it was Bill Condra. A week later when I called to ask for Bill, the female who answered said he hadn't worked there in years and became hostile when I told her what I was told the week before.
Instead of just apologizing for the misinformation I was given the week before she became argumentative. She finally told me I needed to speak to Tim Hughes. When I called back today the female who answered hung up on me when I asked for Tim Hughes. When I called back and asked for Tim again she said it's not Tim it's Jim in a very snotty tone. Someone needs to rethink who they have answering their phone because who they have now is the absolute worst representation of the company they could possibly have

They ask for help at one of they're job sites knowing it is a slow season. Call the hall say it's a 7 day job and it ends up being 3. You drive 6 hours blissfully unaware give them a fair shake for a fair wage. Then they lay you off and don't have a check for you. I am not too proud to say I'm on hard times. When it's shift change and two superintendents are on site with a printer in the trailer and field checks in they're truck.
They should be willing to accommodate. This was not a one man lay off. They should not hold the title of a union contractor. This company has no appreciation sympathy or integrity towards the people who keep the wheels turning. You are a ratty company and if I was a BA I'd rip up your contract and take the hit. You shouldn't be benefiting off of skilled workers you never invested training into.
You wouldn't be anywhere without unions and disrespect everything unions are about. 50 men on one shift and no stewart in site. This company is a joke unprofessional and appalling in the eyes of the working union man. #LAYOFFISTHEPAYOFF
