A century ago a young man opened a new ledger book and recorded how well he had done during his first year in business. The following year, the graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music made $1,054. In that 12-month period, he had an outlay of $150 for rent, $2.88 for electricity and $27.75 for advertising.
Whitesel Charlottesville Piano is one of America's oldest piano restoration companies. For three generations and 114 years, the Shaw family has been rebuilding the finest vintage Steinway, Mason & Hamlin, and other fine grand pianos. The Charlottesville Piano Company team of Jason Richardson, Pete Russ, and Jaleel Henson moved my grand piano today. They arrived on time, were pleasant and personable, obviously knew how to do the job, and delivered my piano to its new home location without damage or incident. I would definitely recommend this company for any piano moving need. Thank you Jason, Pete, and Jaleel!

They moved the piano well enough. I told the representative how many landings I had and how many steps and he told me how much it would be. Then the movers came and backed the truck up all the way to my door, but the price didn't go down. Also the movers damaged the lid to the piano which was fine when I looked at the piano but when I opened the lid after they left it almost fell off. No follow up from the company at all to check the status. Guess the piano refinishing job will go to another company because they clearly don't want the work.
