Fixed Rate Moving

My mother used this company for the second time and we had a few issues with the moving. We had to catch one of her china boxes from falling due to the movers carelessly placing the boxes too high and not balancing them correctly. Her Christmas decoration that was in a plastic container was opened and the decor was on the ground. I contacted the owner and he handle the situation professionally.

Fixed Rate Moving was able to help us with a long distance move. Jeff was very helpful in getting us set up. The invoice was sent and payable online which was great since we were not in Arkansas. The movers were prompt on arrival time and very polite and communicated with us well. We sat back and relaxed while they loaded. They wrapped any furniture that needed it. Took excellent care of my grandmothers dresser which was really heavy. The same customer service while unloading at our final destination. Definitely use again if we need to move. Excellent rating on Better Business Bureau! Recommend highly!

Very disappointed in the quality of service provided to my son. A quote was given by Bobby, telling my son everything would be shrink wrapped for his move. The two movers showed up with nothing to wrap his items on a day when it was raining torentially. His sofa was drenched and we had to dry off all his wood furniture in hopes it wouldn't warp. They brought no tools to take apart his dining room table but assured him they would come back later and take care of the table.

We never heard from them again and my son and I had to rent a truck and move the table ourselves. All our door sustained some pretty nasty scratches, partly because the furniture wasn't wrapped. The move is thankfully done but costing us another $90 to rent a truck and finish the last of the move ourselves. Jeff, interesting that you say that. In speaking with my son, and looking on your page, my son did in fact NOT REVIEW YOU AT ALL. In fact, he even mentioned bubble wrap and was specifically told by Bobby everything WOULD BE WRAPPED. So I am dropping my rating yet another star.

Had a 10am move. By 11am I was calling. NO answer. Found another # for them & they guy said Bobby moved us to afternoon okay so 1 more hour.yes. an hour passed no crew, no call, no move. Literally sitting & waiting all packed & ready. Started calling other places by 1pm and even still no word from fixedratemovers! I was soooo undone. My hubby leaving for a business trip next day & I have to deal with all this by myself. We moved as much as we could in our car.smh. no beds, no desk, no tables, no couches.smh THANKS FIXEDRATEMOVERS FOR NOTHING!

I wish I could give them a 10 star. We used Fixed Rate Moving last week. Preston, Kalon and Jordan were very kind, hard working young men. We will definitely be using them in the future for all of our moving needs. So nice to meet these young men.

Great for small moves with a set per hour charge. I have used for estate sale purchases.

TERRIBLE! IF I COULD LEAVE A 0 STAR COMMENT IT WOULD BE MORE FITTING THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY TO HIRE THEY WILL IMPROPERLY LOAD YOUR TRUCK ARRIVE LATE NOT (NOT EVEN CALL TO INFORM YOU THAT THEY ARE RUNNING BEHIND)THEY DID NOT FILL THE ENTIRE UHAUL TRUCK I HIRED THIS COMPANY TO MOVE ALL OF MY ITEMS THEY ONLY MOVED PARTIAL ITEMS ALOT OF MY ITEMS WERE LEFT IN HOME ALOT OF ITEMS WERE BROKEN ALOT OF WHICH OTHER REVIEWS HAVE STATED AS WELL PERTAINING TO PUNCTUALITY AND BROKEN ITEMS "BOBBY" IS THE HEAD PERSON & HE DIDN'T CARE THERE IS NO INSURANCE ON BROKEN ITEMS THE MOVERS WERE IMPROPERLY PACKING JUST THROWING ITEMS ON THE TAKING THEIR JOB SERIOUSLY THE MOVERS AREN'T TRAINED CORRECTLY THIS COMPANY JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY AND HAS NO MORALE ABOUT THEIR COSTUMERS OR THEIR ITEMS "BOBBY" DIDNT CARE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE HE RESPONSE WAS "OH WELL" DO NOT BE FOOLED AND THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT THERE ARE SERVERAL REVIEWS STATING THE SAME THING!

Great moving service! I ordered them for loading up a Uhaul and they called me before arriving, arrived on time, loaded up everything very quickly. It was a good price and professional. Would highly recommend.

Hired this company 4 the 2nd time. First was great no problems. Gave the guys $100 tip was that good. Just moved end of April used them again. Sent 2 heavy set guys was slow, and this is hourly. Much of my furniture was damaged or broken. Gave them $40 for lunch instead of taking the 30 minutes they where suppose 2, was gone 4 an hour and put 30 minutes on billing receipt so I paid an extra $67.50 for them 2 eat lunch. Took my kindness 4 granted. 4 heavy boxes clearly marked upstairs, were left downstairs 4 me 2 figure out how 2 get them up.

Move took 7.5 hours @ $135 HR. Last with them same furniture was 4 hours. Still waiting 4 call from company asking how the move went almost 3 mos later. I also had friends move a trailer n truck full of stuff before they came hoping it wouldn't take so long. Anyway take your chances could go either way.

The 3 man crew was prompt, courteous and professional. They were hired to move a very heavy entertainment center and 2 bookshelves down a flight of indoor stairs and also down some porch steps. They were careful not to damage the furniture pieces or any areas of the house. They finished the job in less than an hour. The price was reasonable and less than other movers we looked at. I would recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

Showed up 1 / 2 hr. late with no one calling to update me on show up time. I have personally moved business and personal items many times, but, when I offered possible better ways to offload our belongings so as to speed up the process or make it safer for the movers and our belongings I was met with resistance throughout the move. I am left with furniture ( chipped base - gouges on my office desk - a gift from my Mother ) and a hole in my wall caused by not being cautious.

That's it for the bad. The good is that these 3 men emptied my trailer and got the contents where they needed to be in 2 1/2 hrs. on a pretty warm and humid morning. The company has a 3 hr. minimum and that was OK. by me. Suggestion: When your customer offers advice on how best to move an item it could be that they have moved that item previously or know how it is constructed.

You could end up moving that item easier and without causing damage therefore saving yourselves from extra work and the company money for damages CAUSED BY YOU. ( use a ladder when available if needed - DO NOT SLIDE FURNITURE ON THE FLOOR OF A TRAILER - DO NOT COMPLAIN TO OTHERS AT THE HOUSE that the homeowner is somehow behaving in a biased way or that you take exception to being told where and how they want their stuff offloaded. THEY ARE PAYING YOUR WAGES TO BE CERTAIN THAT THEIR STUFF IS BEING PLACED WHERE AND HOW THEY WANT IT TO BE PLACED.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality Very unprofessional. Cursing in the front yard. Not careful with any of our things. Broke 2 desks, broke the glass out of entertainment center, broke a whole box of dishes. Showed up an hour late. We basically had to oversee them the entire time because they would not move everything. Horrible experience! Service: Local removals

This is my second move now using Jeff and his wonderful staff. Jeff came to my house in Pangburn to provide an in-person inventory. It was a bittersweet experience to sell our getaway on The Little Red River! Our move team consisted of. Steven, Ceasar and Matt! Folks they were in sync like a fine Swiss clock! As always, Fixed Rate Moving gets it done wity exemplary service and are extremely easy to do business with! Will be using them again in the future for sure! Highly recommended!

This review is almost 3 years later. But I have to leave it on Yelp. Fixed Rate Moving is bar none. They are the first people you need to call for your move. I moved with them twice and each time no worries. Steven was an excellent mover. He was prompt and efficient. We were more than pleased with his services. I could only hope he is still with the company or has gone on to his hearts desires.

This was a great working experience! One of the smaller moving companies in Arkansas. More honest rates with employees that won't steal your personal items. Fixed rate moving will also move you anywhere in the USA except Hawaii of course. Hope this is helpful.

Booked a move from Sherwood to West Little Rock with Fixed Rate Movers. They called the day before the move to confirm. They showed up on time, worked hard and did not damage anything. I would recommend these guys.

I used them to move when we sold our house and they were very easy to work with and reliable I would definitely recommend!

Love Jeff and his crew! Ours was a huge move and they hung in there until very late at night. They worked hard (Jeff even came to pitch in) and the price was very reasonable. We had some very heavy pieces that had to go up several flights of stairs and they did a great job. My ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that I thought greater care could have been taken in how some items were put in a storage unit. Not very organized. I talked to Jeff about it and was satisfied. I would highly recommend Jeff and Fixed Rate Moving!

Was a good company. One complaint, hit the wall in two places and need fixed. This hasn't been completed.

We had 4 movers to move us from a tri-level on a steep hill to a ranch on a flat lot. The movers were excellent. Very professional, quick and polite. They did exactly like they said they would do with regards to the estimate. Also, we had some very heavy furniture that they rocked. I would use them again.
