Here's what to love about moving with J. E. Thomas & Sons Moving: ~ they arrived exactly when they said they would ~ they didn't seem at all challenged by anything I asked from them ~ they truly have a 'can do' attitude ~ not a grumbly gus on the team ~ everyone from office staff to moving team are friendly and professional ~ you get great value for your dollar ~ even at the end of a long, hot day each team member has a smile on their face Let's face it, moving isn't fun.
But I would recommend this business to help make it less tedious. One less thing to do with so many to get into your dream home! I would definitely without hesitation hire them again! And again! (But the plan is we won't need them! We don't want to leave our new home!)

My comments are based on 11 moves my wife and I experienced during 30 years of military service. We moved ourselves to Emerald Isle over 5 years ago. This time, when we decided to move.at 63, I knew 100% I didn't want to (and couldn't') repeat our last moving experience. After speaking to a number of our friends and realator, Thomas & Sons was the resounding recommendation.
We contacted the company and Debi was a joy to work with, she took the reins and began the process. She pleasantly answered our questions and concerns. Moving Day: Neil Thomas (one of the Sons), called the morning of to confirm meeting at the storage facility before heading to the house. Upon arrival, I knew he and his crew were clearly professionals and well prepared.
Once we arrived at the house they took extra precautions not to damage the walls, floors and our household items; same at the new house. This was by far the smoothest move my wife and I have ever experienced! Zero Stress! I highly recommend Thomas & Sons for your moving requirements! Bests!

Moving can be such a harrowing experience. BUT with this wonderful company it is like a pleasant day with highly experienced professionals. We met Ronnie and Stephen when they moved a new dining room table to our house. My husband Chris and I were impressed. We made a point to ask for them when we were ready to move to a new home. J E Thomas & Sons Moving sent five of the most patient and professional movers, Ronnie, Stephen, Cecil, Neil and Paul.
They were careful with the items and once the move was complete walked me through the house to verify all boxes and furniture were placed exactly were I wanted them. On a personal level, we found them very friendly and polite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was truly blown away by this moving team. They are family-owned and operated and genuinely good people. My husband is away and I needed to hire a company to move all my stuff from 3 (yes, 3!) different locations in the Jacksonville area to our new house. This team showed up on time, were very professional, and the years of experience were evident in how they operated.
They were careful with my belongings, assembled and moved furniture where I needed it, and made sure there was walking room around all the boxes that were unloaded. They thought of the little details to make sure the move was stress-free and smooth. They even went above and beyond and moved my new fridge inside of the house, which required taking all the doors off and was not in the original agreement. I will hire them again for any future moving needs! Thank you J.E. Thomas & Sons!

With over 32 years active duty and 12 as defense employee. Moved every 18-24 months for 40 years. This team are in the top 3 of all my mover teams. First move I was paying for and I got four quotes and all were within a few hundred of each other. I liked the owner's attitude and attentive approach on what I could do to save money on a 18k lb move.
The team of five were true professional movers with such a great customer service attitude ( a real family team ). Moved me from Snead's Ferry Mimosa Bay to Charlotte and I can't say anything beneath 1st Class Service. Shop around or just pick the best from the start. Wish I could give them 10 stars. Hey Everyone! I just wanted to brag on a local moving company for those near Camp Lejeune. J. E. Thomas & Sons Moving From the walk-through estimate with the owner, Eddie, to packing, loading, and now unloading, after 22 years in the Marine Corps, I now realize what a professional moving company is supposed to look like! It is family owned and operated which I knew when i met the owner during the walk-through but i did not expect him and his wife to be helping with the packing!
I've met both of their son's, a daughter-in-law and several members of their staff who I have just been blown away by. The professionalism, care, and respect by every single employee has been great. I know PCS season is stressful and i know having personally lived through two decades of moves that TMO/DMO is a bad word to most of us. This is a great team! Do not use anyone else to move. From the minute they arrived they were in motion. They are courteous and careful and yet move your stuff so quickly and efficiently. I am so very much impressed with Paul and Cody they are so great at what they do, , I had an unusual move of 3 sections storage pick up, cottage pick up and delivery to new home, plus a pick up of a very big and heavy bed room set at another place, and it was upstairs! They made it look so easy, which I know they were wore our.brought it back to new home and set it all up for me. I would definitely recommend them for any kind of move. Thank You Again, Tawana.
