Our all-metal storage units have extra high ceilings to increase your available cubic feet of storage. 10 X 10 - The size of a small bedroom. Will hold contents of a 15' van. 10 X 15 - The size of an average bedroom. 10 X 25 - The size of an average single car garage. Furnishings from a 2-3 bedroom home w/appliances OR an average mobile home with washer/dryer and boxes. Will hold contents of a 26' van.

These people are lying theifs. They told me that if I paid x amount that day my stuff would NOT go to auction so I paid x amount and entered into a payment arrangement that in 30 days I'd pay the remainder+ that months payment. 21 days later I got a call at 4:47pm Thursday saying my stuff was going to auction on Saturday. Which due to my phone's stupid auto rejection of suspected spam calls that I didn't even know was a feature it went directly to voicemail.
I listened to it the following day which was a Friday tried to call them but their office closed early on fridays. My stuff went to auction Saturday morning. They had told me I had 30 days to make the next payment and then they didn't even give me enough time to come up with money to pay them by their new pay date that was not the agreed upon date.
I lost everything. they acted like they were going to work with me and then sold my stuff. My kids art work, family photos, family heirlooms EVERYTHING! my entire apt my entire life was in the unit

Im not a customer, but i just witnessed a lack of humanity from these people like Ive not seen from a business before. As a business owner, myself, I cannot imagine treating anyone in an already heartbreaking situation with such a lack of empathy or concern, or anyone for that matter. I could see it from their perspective if the renter of one of their units owed them past rent, but she doesn't.
She owes them nothing. I have tried to intervene and was met with absolute disregard. Theyre withholding items of her recently deceased partner. Theyre withholding her motorhome, insisting she have it towed from their property rather than allowing a battery to be put in and drove off site. A tow that would cost upwards of $500 she doesn't have.and they know this.
This renter already suffers from fairly significant mental health issues. I feel these people are taking advantage of these MH issues, but why? To gain a motorhome? I do not question the integrity of their facility, I question the integrity of the owners.and I find it lacking. Im absolutely disgusted.

Very helpful and kind folk. I was not asked if I used Triple A during my original Penske reservation process, and the team at Cheap Charlie's went above and beyond to help me acquire the 12% discount upon the return of my rental vehicle. I saved $120! SO thankful for their help. They also had plexiglass COVID precautions, and wore masks when they had to pass through the lobby to go to and from the vehicle inspection. Was incredibly pleased and impressed!

While out of state, I reserved an outdoor rv storage space at Cheap Charly's Mini Storage on 3-19-2021, paying a $75 monthly fee and $10 setup fee. I called them the next day (3-20-2021) and told them that I no longer needed the space. The manager said it was ok, that she would go down the waiting list. I asked if she would just put what I paid back on my credit card and she said no, it's nonrefundable.
Keep in mind, I called the day after I reserved the rv storage space AND they had a waiting list for people wanting that rv storage space. I asked her "So you're going to keep the $85 I paid and rent the same spot, for the same month that I paid for, to a person on the waiting list for another $85?" Her response was "I thought you understood it was nonrefundable." So, I guess they'll be making $170 on that rv space for the next month.
I think this very clearly shows you the type of people you'll be dealing with if you rent from this storage facility. I was completely astounded that they would keep my money after one day, my rv never in the space, and especially when they had a waiting list for this rv space? I find this incredibly greedy and a bad business practice! I would strongly recommend using a different storage facility! THEIR REPLY TO THIS REVIEW IS INACCURATE!
The statement "I have attempted to reach you about this issue several times, with no success" is not accurate. They called me on 04/02/21 and told me that if I removed my review, the owners would be willing to give me back half the money I paid, I hung up. They immediately called back and I told them never to call me again. That's the only time they've "attempted" to contact me. To be honest, I would rather keep the review up and lose the money in hopes that this kind of thing doesn't happen to someone else in the future.

I have been a tenant for about 1.5 years and during that time I have found Donny and his wife ( whose name escapes me at the moment) to be very professional and have great customer service skills. There dog is so cool and always wants to be your friend. I will highly recommend your storage units to anyone looking. Thanks for the great experience.

Highly recomend this business! Returned our one way Penske rental truck here, told them the location we got it from must not have refilled fluids and etc before we got it. They apologized and assured us Penske expects higher quality than that and that it is unusual to have quality issues with Penske trucks. Though they have no control over other franchisees quality control Cheap Charley's went over and beyond in this way; the owner personally paid for our supper when he happened to see us in a local upscale pizza restauraunt. Thank-you to Charley's!
