Well suited for storage of items you are comfortable storing in a garage type area. A wide variety of storage unit sizes are available: ranging from 5x5 all the way up to 12x40. Many of our stores offer expanded evening & weekend office hours. In Lexington, our 1120 E. New Circle Road, 150 Richmond Plaza and 755 Newtown Pike stores are OPEN 7 days a week.Our 1990 Midland Trail store in Shelbyville, KY is also OPEN 7 days a week. Our Fern Creek location is open Monday - Saturday. We sell boxes, mattress bags, packing supplies & locks.

Space Center Storage has been in the business of self storage since 1974 when W.R. "Bob" Sutherland opened the first mini storage facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Since that time we have grown to 12 locations with 10 in Lexington as well as stores in Shelbyville and Louisville. We are still family owned and operated.

Was here on June 5th and had horrible service. The woman at the desk acted like I was a burdon on her for asking a few simple questions about their rates. Treated the couple in front of us that way too. Won't give my money to a business that treats people that way. Especially when you have so many other choices in Lexington.
