Rude, rough, arrogant, condescending, no communication skills, NO listening skills.stood in the middle of my living room and gave me a lengthy lecture of all the costs associated with moving.which I did not need, want or request.

This man is uncouth, he is what we call "rough trade". He moved from room to room without me, including opening closed doors and entering them-my bedroom-as if perhaps I was a visitor in his home. I had to tell him four times that YES THE OVEN WAS PART OF THE MOVE, and three times THAT NO, THE CONTENTS OF THE CLOSET SHOULD NOT BE PART OF THE ESTIMATE, AS I WOULD BE MOVING THEM MYSELF.

This guy did not listen AT ALL. He seemed to me to be totally inappropriate for the job. I am ALSO guessing he places somewhere on the autism scale, and that is a poor match for a job that involves considerable customer service skills. His business card claims he is the company's National Sales Director. If that's true, they are in serious trouble. Had to ask him to leave my home, after he suggested he should cancel the estimate. Said I thought that was a REALLY GOOD IDEA, AND HE COULD START BY LEAVING MY BEDROOM. This review was posted by LAURA THOMPSON, NOT KIRK BIGELOW.

Tracy and his crew (John, Eddy, Logan, Pete, and Brandon) did an amazing job on a complicated move of some 20,000 pounds of household furniture and boxes! The entire entire team was professional and very communicative throughout the loading and unloading process. 5 stars all the way for this team and Daniel's Moving. I will have to move again in about one year and plan to use them again!

These guys did a PHENOMENAL job getting way too much furniture moved out of our 5th floor Boston apartment and up to the Upper Valley. We had 0 casualties or damage, everything was packed and handled amazingly well. They also came in $2000 below the quoted price from a very reputable local Boston company. They made a stressful job easy peasy, and for that we are so grateful.

I've just completed a move w Daniels and highly recommend them. I had a lot of difficulty finding movers to even show up to give me an estimate, but Kevin Lacroix, the Daniels rep, showed up on time and provided a detailed estimate. There was excellent follow-up in the week before the move date. On the day of the move, the correct number of guys and trucks arrived exactly when they said they would.

Everyone was enthusiastic, polite, and friendly. The next day, I again had a wonderful experience, w upbeat guys who would go the extra mile. No breakage, no mishaps. Price far below their initial estimate and I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Plus, the integrity of the men they employ is outstanding.

We used Daniels Moving to move approximately 2 rooms worth of furniture from a vacation home in NH to half way across the country. Jordan @Daniels helped me get everything set easily and efficiently. **UPDATED** I'll give it a two because I never had the chance to try to work with them and have been discouraged by the "information" provided in response. Reached out via the form online and several days later called because I hadn't heard back. Please note, the website will tell you that you can get a quote online but you can't. I received an email quip in response but any interaction required me calling, despite being told I would be contacted.

The woman I spoke with sounded as though she hated her job and couldn't answer basic questions about the moving process, informing me this company charges by weight. She collected my information, including telling me to send a detailed list with pictures of all out belongings to be moved, and told me someone would be in touch with me within 24 hours with a quote.

Fast forward a week (after finding another company in the local area, setting up an appointment for an in person consultation, and confirming services) and we get a very short email response with an astronomical price.$6300. Please note this is even more than what we paid insured movers to move our belongings from Colorado to Vermont just last summer.

We have no concerns paying a fair price, but what we were quoted to move 140 miles (information provided by mover is inaccurate, please see pictures) was triple what we are paying another company. Perhaps they want to take the long way to charge more? Hard to say. Also hard to say why they're so much more expensive and less friendly than other local movers.

I know that summer months are expensive, and maybe they wrap your belongings in gold plated moving blankets, but I had very high hopes for this company and truly prefer to support local and they simply didnt deliver.

I always send our tenants to Daniels whenever they need storage or moving assistance and recently I was able to connect with Jordan for cleaning a couple of our apartments and I was really impressed! the staff is efficient and professional! I would highly recommend them.

We moved into our first home today, and Daniels was such a saving Grace! The ladies in the office were very helpful with organizing and checking in, even managing to push us back a week after my dad unexpectedly passed. The guys who came to move were punctual and pleasant, made sure everything was where we wanted it, and helped pack up a lot of the remaining strays we had lying around. Great experience all the way around!

Excellent service! Katie was very helpful all the way and promptly answered any questions I had. Tom and Chris were professional, friendly and courteous. My sisters and I appreciate the care they took with our Dad's items. I would recommend Daniels to anyone in the area considering a move.

INCREDIBLE. Words cannot describe how great a job these guys did. I've worked with movers for a decade on jobs of all sizes, and this was EASILY the most efficient, careful, friendly, and well-run crew I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They went above and beyond for problem solving items that didn't fit up stairwells by moving absurdly heavy things up ladders, through exterior windows, etc., no piece was too large or tricky for them. I am speechless. Polite, super professional, fast but very precise. Worth every penny.

After our originally moving company cancelled on us last minute, Daniels Moving and Storage was able to immediately help us even with a cross country move from NH to UT. Daniels managed our move to NC and did so brilliantly. From Katie and Mark in the office to Uriah and John who packed the truck, drove our belongings to NC and carefully managed our move in and troubleshot each inch! Very professional, smooth, and transparent. Thank you! We highly recommend them!

Overall excellent experience moving from NH to Virginia. Jordan was responsive and respectful, the movers were extremely fast. The packing was neat and organized. None of our items were damaged or broken. I thought the movers lost 4 of our couch legs but later found them; Daniel's offered to pay for replacements. Highly recommended.

Fred's team was amazing! We have used movers many times, including moving around the world, and this team was hands-down the best we've ever had. I was so impressed with their professionalism, positive attitude and carefulness. They were efficient but never sloppy. Fred is obviously a great project manager and team leader as well. Patrice and his crew were wonderful. We only moved down the street but they picked up our belongings on one day and delivered the next on two of the hottest days so far this summer. They were professional, and courteous through the whole process. I would definitely recommend this group when moving. I can't say enough good things.

Daniels helped us move on Nov 3. We started the day with a surprise snowstorm. Daniels ended up sending a couple more guys to help with the move. 6 guys total, and they did a fantastic job. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.

From scheduling my move through the move Itself every aspect was respectfully and thoughtfully carried out. The three guys who physically provided the move were awesome at every level. I used Daniels Moving when I moved from Vermont to Maryland. They did an excellent job! The team was professional, polite, careful and efficient. They wrapped all of my furniture securely and carefully packed it in the truck. They were very careful when bringing things into my new home as well. They arrived early and unloaded quickly. I have nothing but good things to say about them and would definitely recommend them.

We recently used Daniels moving and storage for a local move. Everyone was incredibly professional, friendly, fun and efficient. They moved 2 trucks of furniture, boxes and belongings, in inclement weather, and everything arrived without a single item broken or missing. Uriah, Shane, Shane and Sean were terrific. I'd highly recommend them.

I hate to write a bad review, but I would NOT recommend this company. I used Daniels for my move from NH to CT. The NH side of the move was fine. In CT, however, the truck showed up on time, but without a moving crew. The driver scrambled to find some temps for the day, who showed up 90 minutes after the scheduled start time. They had minimal moving experience, were slow and inefficient, and ended up causing extensive damage to the doorway and hallways during the move. Finally, when I called Daniels to discuss the damage, they were defensive and combative, blaming the mistakes on their driver and the CT crew, hardly offering an apology or any sort of compensation.

I am currently processing an insurance claim with Daniels and will update this review upon completion of the claim. I am very disappointed at the level of professionalism exhibited by the company, especially given the premium that I paid to work with an established moving company.

I highly recommend Daniels Moving and Storage! This company is amazing. First of all, their warehouse is immaculate and their staff is friendly and accommodating. Second, the cost for moving my belongings across country ended up being $500 less than what they originally quoted me. Third, they had the nightmare of having to back an enormous moving truck down my one lane, curving, hilly private drive that has a ravine on one side and several people coming and going from homes on the drive.

The truck driver -- Tom -- had a great sense of humor and maintained a cheerful, can-do attitude, and made it happen without complaining or making us feel bad. I have a lot of antique furniture, some with velvet upholstery, and everything was in immaculate condition. They are the best!

These guys moved a piano for me locally, and I was very happy with their skill and efficiency. Would definitely use them again!
