A 1 Moving

I've finally unpacked my last box from when I hired this crew five years ago. I finally unpacked my last box and am happy to report they were very careful and not a single item was damaged from a cross-country move. The crew was exceptional and I only wish I could hire them again for my next move.

I'm NOT happy with these "PROFESSIONALS"! I am a developmentally disabled individual who is black Asian and homosexual and they were very blatantly disrespectful to me! They were one, rude to me by not letting me zip up my stuff and complain about me being very slow in the process and it's not my fault because like I said I am a disabled individual and I also have scoliosis which naturally makes me slower, and the whole time they were doing nothing but complaining on how slow I was being and then the Mexican one who's name is Carlos got a phone call was complaining to whoever was on the phone in Spanish about how slow I was being and threw the insult that I'm a "fat faggot" in there as well!

Then the following Monday when I proceeded to call on actual business hours to report the over $900 worth of my stuff missing and or damaged his partner who is WHITE probably proceeded to very blatantly disrespectfully verbally attacked me on the phone saying "that's your fuckin' problem we're not gonna do anything about it" and gave of a VERY BLATANT go to hell we don't care about you kind of an attitude, and that's not good customer service they should not be running their business like that! If I could I would give them negative stars I WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT for the DISGUSTING display of SHEER UTTER disrespect towards people who are less fortunate than them!

Great moving company. I have used them to move my office twice. Both times they came in below the estimate. Will use again for sure.

I just had my move this morning. A few weeks ago I called and spoke with Fred and he was so nice and friendly and made sure my move got scheduled for the date I needed. I also called him a couple days before the move to confirm my move and he still was very nice. My move was scheduled for 8am this morning and the movers arrived on time knocking on my apartment door. Antonio and Mario greeted me and were very professional including taking covid precautions.

They moved everything out of my apartment very fast and got to my new place very fast and brought everything in my new place very fast. They were very careful with my things and respectful of my new place. They were so nice and professional that ill definitely be using A1 moving for my next move and i already referred my friends to use A1 moving! :) thanks for helping me make my move quick and easy! :)

I had a very bad experience with them. They wrote on my quote "100 free supplies" then later told me that meant up to $100 dollars. I tried to work it out with the owner and offered to meet him half-way but he wouldn't work with me and refused a compromise. I unfortunately I had to cancel with them. The owner Fred was rude and disrespectful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We were on the fence about hiring movers but in the end we are so happy we did! They were great and very efficient. The movers were very nice and fast. Would definitely recommend!

I have hired A-1 for my last 3 local moves. They are great! I appreciate their professionalism and efficiency. They take excellent care of my personal property and my home during the moving process. A-1 is our go to movers. We have used the same team twice in the last 3.5 years. Very professional, they put runners and blankets down to protect our flooring, no damage was done. They guys were great and interactive. We felt like we really mattered. Price wise I find them really reasonable for the truck size they use, time and care efficiency and flexibility. You can't go wrong with A-1 as your choice in movers.

AAron, and 2 others moved our stuff from a 10x20 storage shed to our new house faster than I thought they could. They showed up on time, gave me a great price, and took pride and care in their work. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Can't say enough good things about A-1. They were the most reasonable price quote we received and I am so pleased with our decision. The moving team was friendly and prompt and smoothly handled moving two households into one in only 4 hours. They moved everything safely but efficiently. They even disassembled and reassembled many of our pieces of furniture. On top of that, they took away some of our unwanted pieces for a fraction of the price of any of the junk companies. Worth every penny!

Please beware if you are ever considering using this company for your move. They under estimate your quote, charge you more time than they are physically there or driving and then when you try to bring this to their attention, they tell you that if you don't pay the full bill including the documented overages, they will hold your belongings and sell them in an auction.

The manager of this organization lacks any sort of integrity and is a bully. He screamed at me and my husband and called us names. Please save yourself the stress and grief and go elsewhere!

We used A-1 to move from a large home to a much smaller house in February. A winter moving job in Minnesota isn't easy and the narrow snowy streets in St. Paul don't help but that didn't slow A-1 movers down. The crew was polite and efficient and we were very pleased with the service they provided. They were careful with our things and took care to keep our floors clean in both houses - not always such an easy thing to do in the snow! We will definitely recommend A-1 to anyone we know who needs a mover.

I was a loyal customer to what was Sorenson's Apartment Movers in Hopkins. I don't know if this company merged with them, or what. But I hired them to move my mother yesterday, and had the worst experience in that it was much longer and more expensive than it needed to be. The truck broke down at the move location, and had to be towed 30 miles.

They did not charge me for that time, but it still seems a bit surreal that a 2 man crew took 7 hours to load and unload a 1 BR apartment. I could have had 3 men, I suppose, but I still think the bill suffered because of the truck breaking down. I gave 2 stars because of my past with Sorenson's, but yesterday's experience will make me use another company next time. The crew was nice (Kody was highly personable), but my $903 bill wasn't worth it. I'm glad it's over, but so is my relationship with this company.

What a great crew! Easy to work with. Prompt, courteous service over the phone. We used them during non-peak times on a Wednesday (Dec 9th). They showed up on time and ready to work. The team was very quick, easy to talk to, and very concerned with the details of our move. It made our last move one of the easiest things we've done in our search for a new home.

They double-checked with me or my wife about all things that needed to be moved. They come in under budget/time and if I were to move again, I'd definitely check with them first.

Not only did we receive exceptional service, the team was personable, professional and admirably diligent. I'd definitely recommend this team of four that handled our move. Each went that extra mile to help ensure we had a convenient move. It took about six hours to move out and into a 3,000 to 4,000 square house.

We've become a return customer over the past years. It's hard to say that small-staff, home town movers match the quality of the large over-the-road firms, but this company does. Being a local enterprise, they are attentive, easy to reach and do business with, adhere to their quote (an unusual event these days) and willingly finish as early as the job ends (also sometimes an unusual event with other firms).

All in all, with a customer experience doing business with them that goes back to 2002, these are honest, good people to do business with. A move is stressful enough. Don't complicate it more than necessary.
