We used Georgia Pack and Load last week for a local move and it was a very pleasant experience. The crew assigned to us was Antwan, Tyler, Leonard, Michael and Lance Turbo. These guys are great! They showed up on time, were very nice and professional, worked very hard and did a fantastic job. We had a lot of stuff, some of which was very heavy, and they wrapped and moved everything with care. I highly recommend them.

I hired Pack and Load because they were recommended by PODS. Three young people, all 20 years of age, arrived. The supervisor had 2 years experience and was nice and professional but admitted he had 2 new people working with him. The supervisor stayed in the POD as the others brought him boxes and were in my home. From the moment they arrived, they were in a huge hurry, practically running from room to room and tossing boxes around.
They stacked boxes 6-8 high and then the whole stack would topple over. I'm sure many of my things are broken. They totally ignored markings on the box that said 'FRAGILE' or 'TOP LOAD'. I found my sewing machine, in its original box/packaging and clearly marked with a photo on the box, at the bottom of a stack in the POD and had to move boxes myself after they left to get it out and put it on top.
They had no regard for my wooden floors and drug steel shelves and the support bars for them across my floors scratching them. After 3 hours, they abruptly stopped and said they had to leave even though my job wasn't finished. I had them scheduled another day and cancelled them. Their bill for 3 hours was $1700. Contrast that with a local mover I called to replace them.
Three men each with at least 10 years experience loading PODS. Before they started, they padded my banisters and floors so as not to damage anything. They were slow and methodical. They read every box to see where it should go in the POD and asked lots of questions. They were here for 4 hours and the bill was $680. I would never recommend Pack and Load Services nor would I ever use them again. Oh, and the first thing they have you do when they arrive is sign a bunch of papers that they are not responsible for breaking anything or for damage to your home. This was in Windsor Colorado.

I do not normally write reviews about companies but this experience requires one. Having moved 4 times in the past and having less than stellar results, I was expecting another similar experience. We received estimates from 2 other companies but intuition led us to Georgia Pack and Load. They were slightly more expensive with an additional surcharge added for fuel (gas is now around $5.00/gallon but was considerably less when we solicited the original estimate so I do NOT fault them for that) but it was worth every penny. Leonard and his crew contacted us with an ETA, showed up on time, got to work, checked and tagged every item, wrapped, loaded and were gone earlier than expected.
The next day and 670 miles later, Leonard contact us with an ETA, showed up on time, unloaded, unwrapped, checked off every item from his list and were gone, again, earlier than expected. These guys worked hard and fast in 95 degree heat and were definitely worth the higher price. It is difficult to move a houseful of "stuff" without having some minor damage.
Not in this case. Everything arrived just as it left and everything was accounted for. We are so glad we chose Georgia Pack and Load and are appreciative of their professionalism and hard work.

I hired, Georgia Pack and Load for my move the first of May. Team Frank shows up right on time. We took a tour of my house he explained how the process works, I stood back and it went seamlessly. I would hire these folks again, and I have already recommend them to my friend's and neighbors. Kudos to sales team Melissa, she was great, truly kind and knowledgeable.

After seeing this company featured on Wsb Channel 2 News a friend encouraged me to give them a call for our recent move. I am so glad that I did. I have never hired a moving company before and hoped to avoid some of the nightmares scenarios I have heard about. Excellent local move. They stored my furniture and personal things in their warehouse and delivered them to my new address 6 months later in good shape. This was furniture that filled a 6K sq ft home. The teams both on the load and delivery were on time, courteous and very careful with my things. They had teams that unloaded 5 trucks in about 4 hours.

Used GA Pack & Load 7 years ago when we moved out of GA. Just used again to move my father within GA. 7 years later, I would hire again and again. Not only are they professional, accurate in assessment/quote, and helpful, they came in lower in price than the others. The movers have a sense of humor which is VITAL when moving anyone but especially your parents and all their.antiques. You will not be disappointed.

It was an excellent experience! The packing team was quick and efficient. The loading team were also quick and took great care with my items. And fast delivery to my destination in Florida from Atlanta. The sales team was extremely responsive and answered questions quickly. I have had many military moves where all the set up with moving companies was done by the military.so to do one on my own was intimidating.
I was overwhelmed with phone quotes and uncertain of what was shady practice. I found Georgia Pack and Move through 'best of' book and realize that you all are in best of category!
