Stor-U-Self Charlestown is an excellent option for storage in the Boston area. I live in the North End and find the location convenient. The new management under the new owners deliver excellent customer service to their clients. I recommend them highly.

I have watched the conversion of this from the old Plymouth Sports Complex to Stor-U-Self and have moved from another facility where I had been for 9 years. It is so much better and less expensive. A big bonus is that you drive right into the building so weather is now not a factor!

I know my stuff is protected. The Staff is always polite and helpful. There are plenty of hand trucks available to move your stuff.

Just finished my ~8-month rental of a 10 x 19 unit at Stor-U-Self in Woburn. As far as facilities go, they were both clean and secure. We never worried about the safety of our items, nor our own personal safety when visiting the facility. The facility is also following COVID protocols and we felt safe accessing our belongings during the pandemic. What really sets Stor-U-Self apart from the competition, however, is the customer service.

Every interaction with Stor-U-Self employees was delightful and Geno and Chris went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with our time at Stor-U-Self Woburn. Those two (and the rest of the company, I am sure) do their best to please customers. I highly recommend their services and if I am in need of storage again, I will gladly return. My company rents 16ft and larger trucks seasonally, sometimes two or three simultaneously. For ten years, we have worked with Stor-u-Self Woburn. The experience has been very good. When we book trucks, they have them ready and waiting for us. The staff has always taken good care of us. Our clients frequently changed their delivery schedules with short notice.

When that has happened, Gino and his team have always rallied to help us with the trucks we need. To stay informed of our truck rental options, we occasionally use Enterprise and U-haul. It seems like when we visit those outfits, the staff is always new and inexperienced. Stor-U-Self is our vendor of choice because they know how to provide rental trucks with ease. They stand head and shoulders above the other truck rental companies.

The staff here are incredibly nice and helpful. Your belongings couldn't be any safer.

I used to rent with another storage company in Dedham, but this place is great. They have gated access, a convenient loading dock, and the place is well-lit and clean. William, at the front desk, is friendly and knowledgeable, and is always able to help me with anything I need. Couldn't recommend this place any higher. Truly an excellent business.

Let's face it, paying someplace to store the junk you can't fit in your apartment is tough to stomach. You want to feel like it's money well spent. I was paying another facility over twice what I pay now at Stor U Self, and everything here is new, the carts work, place is clean and they even pipe in 80s pop music so that gen x folks feel at home!

And free coffee with the use of a conference room. nice additions. They also have the lanes marked for easy navigation. I wouldn't hesitate to store valuables here as the security is much tighter than my previous facility. If you decide to rent with these guys, mention my name and ask for the deal on the 5x10 units. thx.

After selling our house in Lexington in 2017, we put our furniture and belongings into storage while deciding where to live. The move was very stressful but Geno couldn't have been more helpful. Almost two years later we still have our belongings stored there. The facility is clean and well run. Geno continues to be a friendly and helpful presence and while I considered storing our things closer to Boston when I gave up our car, in the end I decided the peace of mind of knowing I was in good hands was more important than convenience.

I've used their storage service for several times already. Fast and easy storage access. The units are kept in a great condition, always clean and climate controlled. Plus, you can easily rent a Penske truck right there, and that's actually perfect, especially if you have an emergency situation!

I have been renting two storage units at Stor-U-Self in Woburn since 2011. I have had nothing but positive experiences with both Kelly and Geno. The buildings are clean and very well-maintained, and this is one of few storage locations that have access hours seven days a week. There has never been an issue with billing or any of my belongings. The staff goes above & beyond to provide quality customer service, and both Geno and Kelly have been extremely accommodating to my elderly, disabled mother during her trips to their facility. I highly recommend renting from Stor-U-Self!

I've been renting from Store U Self in Woburn for about four years, first for my business storage, and now added some personal storage. I've dealt mostly with Kelley and Gino over the years, and they have always been very courteous and professional. The other folks that I've seen in the office have been nice as well. The facility is very clean - I've often seen or heard someone vacuuming as the place is wrapping up business for the day, and that extra care really shows.

Even the bathroom is clean. I am confident that my stuff is secure, and that I'm personally safe when going inside - the surveillance cameras are a welcome part of my experience with Stor U Self. Highly recommend!

One level, many doors, & loading docks - moving your belongings in and out couldn't get any easier. I have personally worked in the furniture moving industry for over thirty-five years. As such, I have been in dozens of self-storage facilities. Stor-U-Self is my favorite, and they are certainly one of the best around. I truly can't say enough good things about them.
