MOVING AHEAD operates our own private storage facility with offices located at 101 Fifth Avenue, Garden City Park, NY, 11040; centrally located in Nassau County, NY. We carefully wrap and inventory your belongings then move and store them in individual storage containers. Our facility is climate controlled with a state of the art sprinkler system.

Great experience all around. Moving Ahead picked up my furniture and boxes from NYC and brought back to LI where everything was kept in storage for a year, and then brought back into NYC upon moving back in. Storage and moving process were both extremely seamless and efficient! Larry was great to work with throughout the entire time!

Great experience with this company. The move went completely smoothly considering they were picking up everything from one place and delivering to two separate places over a hour away from each other in another state. Very accommodating to your needs. The group of guys sent were all professional, friendly and hard working. The company was always there to call or email if you had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend.

I used Moving Ahead for a move from my apartment in midtown Manhattan to Manhattan Mini Storage on the West side highway. Everything went as smoothly as possible - I was extremely impressed! Triple-T and his team were on time, efficient, friendly, took great care of my items, and knew the storage facility well. They were extremely professional and also wore masks the whole time. Would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again!

We originally booked Moving Ahead to help us load a U-Haul truck in New York that we were planning to move ourselves to New Jersey. After a terrible experience with U-Haul who ended up not having the truck we reserved 1.5 months ahead of time, Moving Ahead was able to on the spot change their plans and handle our full move from NY to NJ. The price was very reasonable given our last minute change and the crew we had was professional, fast, and very nice. I will most definitely use Moving Ahead again and highly recommend them.

The Moving Ahead Team did a great job on our move. We were renovation our 100 year old home and needed to store everything from the second floor and then bring it back after the remodeling. Everything went perfect even though we have a tricky winding stairway. Some items were difficult to move back once the renovation was done because of a loss of a few inches on turns but the guys were very patient and got everything back into place. They even cleaned up all of the materials from unpacking as well as helped by moving some old radiators for me. Excellent Job Moving Ahead!

I was really pleased with Moving Ahead's services. The crew was so courteous, especially while dealing with a particularly fussy building superintendent and management company. They dealt with the situation in a very good-natured and professional manner. They worked very efficiently and carefully. I also found the cost to be reasonable and fair. Overall, it was a big relief to have such a successful outcome with the move, given that they took on the job on very short notice. I will definitely recommend Moving Ahead to friends and family in the future.
