This company just ripped off my daughter. Original quote was off by $2000. Took nearly a month to get her stuff to destination with no notification they were coming. She gave them her new phone number, as per normal didn't change her email because you don't do that.ridiculous owner. They gave her 15 minutes to call, she called in 4 minutes and her stuff was on the way to Washington DC.they are putting her stuff in storage and of course charging her for that ($800+) and won't release it until she pays them. The worst! Supposed owner very very RUDE. BEWARE WOMEN!

Used Adams & Transfer Storage for our home move. Great company, ownership involvement and communication. Highly recommend.

I want to thank Adams Transfer & Storage Co for a great commercial/office moving experience. The crew was on-time and very time efficient from start to finish. The movers were friendly and courteous, and put forth extra effort to make sure everything was properly wrapped/prepared and every item was moved with care. Very nice guys. Mr. Bobby Adams gave me a very competitive estimate beforehand, and the final invoice came in under estimate. I highly recommend Adams Transfer & Storage Co, and I'll confidently refer their services to my family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors.

Not so happy with these movers. We stored our stuff with them for several months in their warehouse which is supposed to be "climate controlled" some furniture was delivered warped. There were also several pieces of furniture damaged which of course we didn't catch until the day after we had the furniture delivered. Several pieces of furniture which required to be reassembled was half-a**, my husband had to buy screws and such to reassemble himself. Sub-par service, find another mover there are too many competitors out there to tolerate this sorry service.

I see quite a few negative comments in here that are definitely not meant for Adams Transfer. The company is great! I worked for them for 10 years. We have always done in person estimates. We have never had a "VIP" package. Adams Transfer would NEVER allow another company to unload their trailers! It is unfortunate that every bad review here is Provably NOT attributable to ADAMS TRANSFER. This is a great team!

Avoid if you want to receive your stuff in a timely manner! I scheduled delivery of my belongings over two weeks ago, and have made numerous attempts to call and email, but my messages are never answered. I have no idea where my stuff actually is, and when it will be delivered, and I'm not sure that they know either.

I gave them a 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. We paid for their "VIP", door to door full service. Told over and over everything would be taken care of. Mike is absolutely HORRIBLE! Refused to send anyone out for a visual inventory. Do yourself a favor and get a "REAL" estimate from another company. I wish I could post pictures to show all the damage to our furniture, home goods and books.

A bookshelf was ruined! A brand new power washer and 65" Samsung flatscreen tv stolen. PLEASE do yourself a favor and go with another company. This company will "match" or do better than other quotes, then double or triple the "estimate" once they start loading. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

I had to use one-star because that's the only option I had it would have been 0. We received an estimate for $10,000 then they were halfway Packed they requested more money we had to pay more money because we were in a bind the new owners were moving in in 2 days. Close to another $4,000. They showed up late. A two-day move turn into about a 5 day move.

Then at the last stop the Packers stayed in the motel. We had to get somebody to unload the truck our selves.because the truck driver is not associated with this company he had another job to go do. So I give it five thumbs down.

This was around my 12th long distance move. Adams Transfer did an excellent job and Kelly Jones, the driver, conducted the best move I've ever had, loading, and delivery and setup. I couldn't be more pleased.

We've moved 10 times in 15 years. These guys ROCKED. Packers not so great--but movers were excellent. Driver/crew leader could have written the book on customer service and attention to detail.

Adams moved our furniture from Montgomery, TX on April 8th and delivered it to Georgetown, TX on April 9th. They did an outstanding job. Everything was perfect. Colton, Dustin, and Chris were the movers. They could not have been more courteous or professional.

Adams movers were on time, professional and finished earlier than expected. The final price was less than the initial quote. There was a minor damage in the caning of a chair. Adams came and picked up the chair, got it completely recaned and delivered it back in just a few days. We couldn't have been happier with their service. Another plus was that they gave us all the used boxes and packing paper we wanted for free. Then when we finished unpacking they came and picked it all back up! Exceptional!

We called Adams Transfer since we have always heard good things about them and when they quoted the job, they actually came in cheaper than expected and got it done quicker than expected. The 3 guys were incredible and the main mover kept everything so organized and made the move go very smoothly. They couldn't back the truck up due to our hilly driveway, so really earned their money but still made it lower than expected. I recommend them to everyone that is looking to move.

We recently moved from an apartment in the Woodlands to a house 15 minutes away. We got quotes from three local movers but Adams Transfer were the only one to come down to our place and give a binding quote. It was a worst case estimate (8 hours) but you pay per hour anyway and their rates are slightly less then the competitors'. They also included an insurance of up-to $30K in the quote free-of-charge so that was nice.

On the day three guys showed up on time and started moving stuff. They wrapped big things like couches and tables into blankets and plastic but did not do it for smaller furniture like chairs. They took apart bigger items such as a dining table and a bed with no problem. At the house they put a few blankets and cartons at the entrance to minimize scratching. Our total charge was for 4.5 hours. Overall, the guys were reasonably efficient and did a good job. I would recommend them.

Adams Transfer & Storage has been in business since the 60's and is great at taking care of all your belongings. They move people all over the world and have been for a very long time. They are located in The Woodlands and Conroe TX.
