Cumberland Machinery Movers, Inc. is based in the beautiful Lake Cumberland Area of Somerset, Kentucky. Our founder, Steve Ping, had a vision to build the best independent rigging and industrial services company in the area. After leaving a machinery moving company that he was employed with for over 20 years, Steve and his wife Susie started Cumberland Machinery with a 1 ton truck and a landscaping trailer in his garage in 2004.
When it comes to safety, our company takes no chances. We recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset and we will provide them with the tools, materials, and training that is second to none in our industry. Our company has retained the services of an established ANSI Z10 Certified safety provider that augments our internal safety management program.
