These guys were the best! My family and I went through a fire and we had to pack up and move everything left into a storage unit. These gentleman we quick, professional, and extremely helpful. I was only able to get back into my apartment once and pack before the movers came so alot of the stuff wasn't even ready to go in the truck, they helped pack everything up for us.

After going through a fire, , having your home ransacked (after being told it was boarded up safely)and have all your valuables stolen, it's been a never-ending nightmare, these guys made a stressful situation way more tolerable. Thanks again guys!

The guys that moved me into my condo were all nice guys. They did a good job and I don't think there was any damage to anything. What i wasn't happy with was the price. It was much more expensive than i thought it would be and i really didn't even have that much stuff. I moved a one bedroom apartment to a condo right on the other side of town and it ran me close to $750.

I should have called and had them quote the job for me, this was my mistake and it was just another lesson learned. They moved me into my apartment a couple years back and it was about a 1/3 of the price. I figured it would run me close to the same price but once again, that was my mistake. If you're thinking about moving, I recommend calling and getting quotes from multiple companies.

The driver told me that the bill was $175 higher due to inflation. 175$ for inflation? Ouch! I just feel like they charged me too much and that is the main reason for the 3 stars. I was also disappointed they wouldn't take my 2 flat-screen tvs.unless i signed a paper stating that they weren't responsible if they damaged them. I feel like a moving company should have a way to move tvs successfully and without damage.

I'm disabled, and handicapped. The movers appeared nice, and said trust us. All I needed was to be packed and moved one flight up. Come to find out that have my stuff and some expensive, brand new items, never made it upstairs, along with my mother and brothers ashes. Being totally taken advantage of, in so many ways, I'm more than heart broken. Can't believe, nor comprehend why?

They actually wrapped and packed empty boxes, took some of my mother's precious figurines she had got for me over the years. And the company did nothing, and charged over $1,400.00 dollars, to move one flight up. and took from me?

Very disappointed with this company. I thought I hired a professional company to move my housewhold items from CT to MA an hour away. I trusted that the movers would be fair and honest. However, several boxes containing valued personal items was not unloaded in MA. I appealed to the company owner and my situation was dismissed, with no attempt to investigate my misfortunate. I could never recommend them to anyone.

PROS: Great service on the day of the move! Movers were efficient, respectable and everything that they should have been CONS: Subpar communication, some questionable/unethical management practices Summary: lots of excuses, some miscommunication, overcharges, lack of transparency. Read more if you want details: - A few days before our moving date they let us know that they were now booked for that day and had to reschedule for a week later - The movers were scheduled to arrive at 8 AM and they DID arrive at 8 AM, on the dot!

Very punctual and efficient. It was a 3 mile move, less than half a truck load, single trip, and they were already done and had moved everything and left the new house by around 10 AM! Everything was done within a two hour window.awesome service! -. but instead of 8 AM to 10 AM the bill showed 7 AM to 10:30 AM.they had charged us for 3 1/2 hours instead of the two hours. - it wasn't even 1030 yet, we called him around 1015 to let them know that the billing hours were inaccurate. - The first excuse we got was: "7am is the time the movers left to get to the job site".after having a good laugh, we quickly pointed out that the job site is 2.2 miles away from the admiral moving HQ, so all of a sudden that excuse didn't fly anymore and the statement was retracted.they said they'd call us back - no response - we called back a few hours later, no response, no call back - 24 hours later we called back again and finally got some "answers" (in a less than friendly tone of voice) - we were now told that "there is a three hour minimum charge" - When I asked why they didn't mention it during any of our previous communication or while actually billing us, the response I got was: "We thought it would take 5 to 6 hours so we didn't even mention it" - when I asked "If it's a three hour minimum, why did you charge us for 3 1/2 hours?".there wasn't really a response, they just brought the charge down from 3.5 hours to 3 hours.

I guess I'll be keeping an eye on my credit card statement to see what actually gets charged. - overall good service by the actual movers, but the extra headaches, follow ups, rude/irritable tone of voice are things that customers shouldn't be dealing with

Admiral was awesome. I needed items moved from temporary housing and our storage unit to our new place. The workers were friendly, wrapped everything, worked diligently, and went above and WELL beyond my expectations. Not sure why there are any negative reviews here. Call and ask for Mark, he will hook you up with a great crew to help with your move. They also are priced VERY competitively. I couldn't say more, Admiral was just fantastic.

We were moving from one street in west Hartford to another ( 2.5 miles apart). Crew arrived on time but charged us a 45 minute to and from moving charge. Hour and a half transportation charge. It rarely takes longer than 25 minutes one way from their head quarters to my house. Half of the house was already moved ( most of the big stuff and all of the art) we basically had four rooms left.

All we boxed up already. Three movers arrived Father / son duo or cousin not sure which one and they were extremely slow. Playing basketball with a neighbor Kid. totally price should have been around 1100 hundred dollars ( we have used this company before similar move cost 950). However, this time is cost almost 2000 thousand dollars. Best part is that every 45 minutes the three movers would take a 15 minute smoke break in the cab of their truck. Took four breaks total ( which I paid for).

Slow would be an understatement. Broke two chairs because the chairs were being carried into the house with boxes piled on top - I'm sure in a rush to get to the next smoke break. I had a good experience with this mover once - two guys moved me in half of the time the the three chain smokers. I wouldn't use them again though dishonest about travel time and an the extra hour for smoking is appalling. I'm sure this is not an isolated episode

Hired admiral one month before our move from an apartment to our first home. Made this fun time a living hell. 3 guys showed up pissed off at each other. One quit 15 minutes into the job leaving two who couldn't do the job alone. They quit 45 minutes later. Two chairs were moved during this time anc we got no updates. We had to scramble to get uhauls, friends, and family to drop everything and help over an entire weekend of sweaty moving during a pandemic.

Clearly the management didn't schedule them properly. One guy was in NYC the day before and wasn't feeling well. He wanted to quarantine and was told to show up. Admiral, why is it ok to send a potentially infected person into my home? Why wouldn't you allow them to quarantine? Why didn't you do your job? Why is it ok that I had to spend several hundred dollars to cover your mistake? Why no apology? David, I'm still looking for answers.

We contacted numerous movers and received numerous quotes. Admiral came right in the middle of the pack but I appreciated Marks candor, upfront-ness, and honesty. He did not overcharge me and did not low ball himself and jack prices up on the back end. His crew was AMAZING. We had a full pack and Ive never done that before but everything was carefully and efficiently packed, plenty of paper padding, nothing was damaged and boxes were well labeled.

The day of the move, seven (!) guys showed up with two trucks and were out of one house and into the other within 5 hours. So polite, kind, patient with my unruly children, and so easy to work with. Highly recommend Admiral and their crew. Thanks guys!

My husband and I recently moved using Admiral Moving & Storage. Our crew was Alec, Joaquim and Jose. They were the best. There were some difficult pieces to move, but they did it very efficiently. We had to go to our apartment and then to our storage facility. They were very professional, capable and very personable (they made me laugh on a very stressful day).

It was a very hot day and they worked very hard. I would highly recommend this moving company. Mark, one of the owners, was very helpful as well. We will be moving again in about four months to our permanent home and will be using Admiral again.

Had Admiral come out to help with switching furniture from one house to another. The people who showed up were the same team that moved me two and a half years ago. They did a phenomenal job then and this time didn't disappoint either. Not only did they move the furniture but the were also put to work rearranging the furniture in the second house. They work quickly and efficiently and the teamwork is amazing. Admiral in South Wondsor will always be the company I call to do my moves.

We moved within the same town from an apartment and large household storage to new home. 4 men/2 trucks. Quick and efficient, no damage (including piano). Highly recommended.

We are so pleased that we chose Admiral movers. Our experience with Admiral was outstanding. The original estimate was accurate so there were no surprises. The movers were organized, friendly, careful and hard working. They were on time at both ends and took care in loading and moving furniture into our new home. We would definitely choose Admiral Movers again.

I used Admiral when I moved to our new house 2 years ago. These guys were great. Showed up on time. Packed everything nicely, didn't damage any of my furniture, or walls in the house. They got some EXTREMELY heavy bedrooom furniture pieces upstairs in the house and setup just right! Worth every penny I paid!

Moved within the state. Everything from communication to the people doing the work, the care they took with the property was top notch. Very efficient and quick couldn't keep up with them and had the whole 10 room house moved within 6 hours. Second time we've used them and would use them again.

Pretty easy review here. I called them, they were nice and set up a Saturday 9am appointment to come out for an estimate. They never showed. I called Monday and got dodged several times. First they said they would take a message, then the estimator was on another call and would call me right after. Finally when I called a 3rd time I was told he left and would get right back to me.

Never did, and the guy answering the phones acted like I was bothering him. I will pass on this company as I don't like wasting my weekends waiting for them without the courtesy of a call back or any type of a response.

We used admiral recently for a move from one end of the state to the other. The owner came to give us an estimate and go over the services they offer. We had a four bedroom home with a basement and garage. We did all our own packing and wrapping of furniture. We were selling our home and buying another so getting the closing dates to line up was not easy. Admiral worked with us and made us feel at ease.

We didn't have a firm date until a week before closing and it was no problem for them. On the day of the move out a crew showed up on time. The guys were very professional. The move out went smoothly and admiral was able to keep our stuff in the truck overnight and meet us at our new home the next day as arranged. We requested the same crew for the move in and they did a great job. All of our stuff was placed exactly as we wanted with no damage at all. The best part was that we paid exactly what we were quoted.

I recently moved from CT to Atlanta, GA and I would HIGHLY recommend them. Not only did they accommodate my tight timeline due to a quick closing they also worked with me regarding my mover unfriendly locations. Neither my townhouse in CT or my apartment in Atlanta could accommodate a large moving truck which required that they load me into a smaller truck and then into the large truck for the thousand mile trip.

Then once in Atlanta due to construction they had to do it again to get down my single lane road. Not only did this get this done quickly, none of my stuff missing or damaged AND they were early. If you have to move down the east coast or just down the street these are your guys.
