At SCS we take your company's interest as seriously as you do. So to serve you better, we have assembled a qualified team of managers, customer service representatives, and product specialists. They will work closely with your company's liaison as well as other vendors to develop a reliable, cost-effective solution that perfectly suits your cold storage needs.
Services
SCS opened in 2001 to bring quality public cold storage within minutes of one of the largest ports on the east coast. We understand the importance of storing frozen product and the need to freeze product safely and quickly. Our experience in seafood birthed the idea of building a storage facility that would meet the increasing demand for public cold storage.
Cross Dock: Receiving of product in full pallet quantity and staging for immediate re-shipment. Sorting/Repacking: Individual units out of the master carton and pack in dry ice for UPS or FedEx pick up. Room Freezing and Chilling: in-room temperature reduction based on customer specifications. Blast Freezing: 448 pallet positions at -35° to quickly remove heat in 36 to 48 hours from fresh product.
After receiving security clearance, vehicles pass the main entrance to our building and proceed to the loading bays. The SCS facility is equipped with office space for our staff, large conference rooms for client meetings and a spacious break room for visiting drivers. The SCS facility has 27 truck loading doors to help with quicker turn times; most trucks are turned in less than 2 hours. After product is unloaded from the truck, it is immediately scanned into our HighJump WMS System from our 19,000 square foot refrigerated dock.

9-11-2021 @ 5:54pm Lines are long and the lady at self check is very nasty. She needs to slow down and explain the damn register better it is not the customers fault Lowes is uses a self checkout register that the hand scanner does not work. Open a different register and have the lady slow down and take her medication.
