Make packing for storage easier on yourself by planning ahead. Start by listing all items your going to store, and their approximate sizes. Also gather up plenty of sturdy corrugated cartons, packing paper, bubble wrap, sealing tape and marker pens, along with any furniture covers or shelving you intend to use in your storage unit.

I rented a uhaul pick up to take some brush to the transfer station. After closing the tail gate it would not reopen. When I turned the truck in I explained the tail gate would not open. I was not offered an apology nor a discount. An hour later they called to tell me I was responsible for the damage. What damage? There was no damage, your truck was faulty-do you try to charge customers for engine failure too?.
So instead of taking care of your customer for renting faulty equipment, you blame them. That's a unique approach to customer satisfaction. I think I won't use this outfit again. Follow up-I was contacted by the manager and given a full refund and apology. I felt they were sincere and that this was a one off occurrence so I have updated my rating to reflect the experience without the incident that followed.
