Pack heavy boxes full. Boxes that will be on the bottom should be packed solid to support the boxes stacked on top. Otherwise they will crush and the load will shift. Books are a excellent base. Build up with lighter, less filled boxes. Protect from dust. Dust and pollen can get into your unit, particularly the regular storage units. You can drape a plastic drop cloth over the top of everything to keep it from getting into exposed fabric, etc.

Clean, courtesy, and a great atmosphere. It's a family run business so you get to know the owners. The storage facility is well lit, which when I was looking at facilities soon discovered that not all of them are. They have climate controlled units. It's easy to get to since it's just off route 9, so when I'm coming from the parkway going to my shore house it's easy to access. They've been in business for years and it's been a great experience working with them!
