Jensen Movers & Storage

I've used them a handful of times, and I've been pleased with them every time. Their movers are kind, courteous, and work hard. They've nearly always come in under budget. Their in office staff is helpful and accommodating. As long as they're in business, they'll be my go to for moving.

I would not recommend using these movers. We hired them to pack our stuff and move it to a new home about 5 hours away. It was a really bad experience with: - Little care for our belongings, resulting in damaged furniture - Lack of communication or accountability - Rude service by Meghan, a manager there - Poor staffing First, they didn't take good care of our stuff.

The guys literally threw things in boxes. A few of many examples: We found unwrapped picture frames thrown into boxes with random stuff; they threw unwrapped lamps into a hamper and actually argued when asked to take out the bulbs and wrap them; they threw kids towels and baby stuff in with a used toilet bowl cleaner etc etc. And when they charge by the box, it's really frustrating to see things thrown into boxes like that- they could've used a lot fewer boxes with just a little more care.

It was a mess. They didn't properly wrap furniture. They duct taped nice rugs without wrapping them. The legs off our kitchen table broke, along with a bookshelf and parts of a dresser. Next, they showed up a day late and I would say Meghan (a manager there) is one of the most horribly rude people we've dealt with in a long time. After confirming the dates multiple times, we drove 5 hours to the destination, only to call them and find out that they were coming the next day.

They gave no notification or updates. My husband kept his cool and stayed respectful the whole time, and Meghan was just horrendous. Not only was she unapologetic, but she actually yelled at us and hung up. She insisted that they had a right to come either Friday or Saturday- which would have been fine had they let us know. We needed to be on site to let them in, so is the customer supposed to just wait at the house 48 hours without furniture?

When the truck finally showed up, they only had two staff and they weren't able to do it on their own. My husband ended up having to do most of the move with one of the guys. We paid $7k, and still ended up having to hustle and lift stuff for 6 hours. Really terrible experience. Now we're gonna have to go back and forth with them to get reimbursement for the damaged items, and I can't imagine that going well.

I wish there was someone above Meghan that we could talk to. I think something really telling, that I wish I'd noticed when considering them, is how they respond to the negative reviews on here too. They just give excuses and argue. No remorse or ownership of any wrongdoing.

Just finished moving from Florida to Ohio. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Deric and his crew worked hard and took great care with our belongings. They maintained contact with us throughout the trip north and unpacked quickly. They we professional and personable. Could give them a higher recommendation.

Jensen just handled our large move down to South Carolina. The movers were respectful and careful with our goods, and it was nice to see the same men moving our furniture in PA down in SC. Couldn't be more pleased with the overall experience!

Their estimate was very misleading as they've failed to be transparent about the additional cost to "unload" the items. You would assume that when they load the items, they would unload as part of completing the job- as one service. However, they've failed to be upfront about the additional cost to "unload" during the initial estimate and my actual cost came out 50% more.

I have no problem paying for a service but pls be transparent about fees/cost upfront. In addition, the movers were careless and I found some minor damages to the wall but I was just happy to be done w them. I've noticed that once they have your deposit, their tones totally change on you.

My children and I recently moved into a bigger house that overall just made more sense for our family as a whole. In the past my experience with moving was always chaotic and just overall very stressful. Even more so when you have small children and are a single mother working 2 jobs. It's impossible to do it all myself so I always hired a movers assuming they would alleviate some of the stress and pressure, but that wasn't always the case.

I had a few bad experiences where things were very disorganized, items went missing or I felt as if the staff and crew weren't communicating as much as they should be. But like I said, it's nearly impossible to move your entire home without a moving crew so once again I began looking online for somewhere I had yet to try. Then a friend of mine recommended Jensen Movers.

I decided to trust my friends opinion and gave them a call and let me tell you I'm so glad I did. From beginning to end the staff and moving crew were exactly what I needed. Everything went exactly as planned every step of the way. They were friendly, informative, and organized throughout the entire move. They always returned my calls promptly and kept me up to date every step of the way.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience and from now on I will be recommending Jensen to everyone. Thank you to the staff and crew for going above and beyond. You can count on our business for many years to come. You have completely changed my families opinion of moving and for that we thank you.

I moved recently and contacted several companies and had a very hard time getting responses to requests for a quote, or the estimator would never show up. With Jensen I received a quick response, the estimator showed up on time to provide the estimate, on moving day the movers showed up on time and the job was completed on time. I recently moved into a new apartment and multiple people referred me to Jensen. I gave them a call and Kaitlyn was very helpful- she talked me through the whole process. She was so friendly! Within a week, Nick came out and gave me an estimate. He really knew what he was doing- he answered all of my questions and was very forward about the numbers.

He also mentioned that they offered storage if I couldn't fit anything into my new place. The estimate was a little higher than I anticipated, but I know this company specializes in great quality moves (we've all heard the horror stories of bad movers) and the professionalism and value was worth it to me. Day-of, they arrived on time and were very mindful with my valuables. There was NO DAMAGE to anything. I recommend Jensen for all of your moving and storage needs- they make moving easy and (dare I sayyy.) FUN!
