Firehouse Moving & Delivery

The Firehouse Moving staff was very polite and helpful when I called to book my move. The movers were on time and very respectful. The crew got right to work when they arrived. I did not have any issues at all. I would defiantly recommend them and use them again.

The Firehouse Moving guys moved me yesterday and did an excellent job! They were on time, worked efficiently and got my stuff loaded and to our new house without incident. I will use them again.

This company SHOULD NOT be in business, and at the very least, the hiring manager should get some better training. I really wish we had seen these reviews before deciding with this company. You guys should probably dissolve this laughable attempt at a business because it is obviously not working in your favor. My mother scheduled these movers to help them move appliances and furniture from the house they sold to their new house.

They arrived on time but reeked of marijuana and it was LIGHTLY sprinkling outside. Immediately the movers said because it was raining, they did not want to do the move. A quick glance at the radar showed that the rain would pass within ONE HOUR. There were a total of three employees and only one got out to walk around the house and guest house so they could see what they would be moving.

The other two employees were ASLEEP in their truck in the driveway. Horribly unprofessional. The mover began to complain that they would have to take two trips, and he also said they would NOT move my mother's fridge because of the step down out of the house onto the back patio. Mind you, this is supposed to be a professional moving company that offers "professional" services.

My dad contacted their boss who then shut the whole entire process down because of it raining. It was hardly misting, and my dad offered to pay them for the extra hour to wait for the mist to pass and the company refused. The movers got the word to leave and remained sitting in the driveway laid back in their seats. My dad had to walk up to their truck and tell them to leave.

They sped down the driveway blaring their horn the entire way. My question is, WHY drive all the way out to the house, from Terrell, which is only 10-15 miles from my mom's house, and OBVIOUSLY drive through the rain. So you guys were already aware of the weather, and wasted our time anyways. So my parents were left holding the bag at the last minute with NO ONE to help them move, and a useless UHAUL.

But honestly, after reading these reviews and seeing the damage they have caused to other peoples property I guess the positive outcome Out of this is that they didn't even get the chance to damage anything here. Let this be a review for anyone in Kaufman county needing a moving service: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. We will be contacting the BBB.

The worst moving company I have ever experienced. Lazy movers very unprofessional. They damaged my furniture a lot of items and have taken items from draws and stolen. They are rude and move like snails. Owner is so unprofessional and rude also. Really she should not be in business. Anyone that hires these movers is as dumb as me. They are the worst of the worst. move yourself a better job will be done then hiring them. Hiring firehouse moving is like throwing your money away. A joke of a moving company.

Rose and her crew take professionalism and personalization to a new level. Rose has been such a pleasure to work with. She has taken great care of us and all our belongings. Her movers were professional and courteous. They took great care in moving our boxes, wrapping our furniture and pictures. Two days after the movers left to store our belongings we realized we had not emptied the ice maker.

When we called Rose she had already taken care of it and dried out the inside of the ice maker. WOW! We will always be so appreciative of Firehouse Moving and Delivery! Thank you Rose for treating us like a member of your own family!

We moved 2 homes in 1 month's time. I called Firehouse Moving Co. and they were excellent. The 2 men who did all of the moving was Josh and Chris. They were excellent. They are very courteous and extremely careful with all of our stuff. They treat even cheap plastic things as if they are your valuable keepsakes. They took the time to wrap glass and mirror things with blankets and plastic wrap to insure that they arrive at our new home in good shape.

I'm taking the time to write this information because I truly appreciate "Top Quality Service and Attitude". My mother is 80 years old and they listened very carefully to her and gave her respectful attention. I recommend Firehouse Moving. Apparently they hire quality individuals and not just anyone. In fact the young man Josh explained the contract very carefully and made sure that we understood it.

They are very reasonable with the price. Look no further than Firehouse because you will be pleasantly surprised with the service. They schedule you and then also follow-up just before the move. They really gave us "Peace of Mind". Thank you Firehouse, Josh and Chris. A Note to Firehouse - Josh and Chris are valuable assets for your business. You can be proud of them. We are extremely happy with their work. I will refer you to anyone we come across that needs to move.

These people moved my neighbors and in the process smashed my mailbox with their huge trailer. I called and talked to Rose who seemed to not care. I followed up several times (this happened in JUNE, it is now August) and left voicemails with my address and where they can send a check to to fix the damage. No call back and no check! HORRIBLE customer service!

I would use every profanity possible to describe how inconsiderate these people are. Especially ROSE. You could have done something about this but instead you'll get a bad yelp review!

Ownership is great! Scheduling was very easy. Packing services are iffy at best. Some items not taken care of (fragile items stacked upside down/under other boxes/etc). Movers were very rude and disrespectful to my wife and I after the move. Stay away!

Don't email in to schedule your move! I received confirmation of the date and time my move was scheduled. On the day of our move I hadn't received a courtesy call so I called in to make sure everything was still a go; they didn't have me on the schedule. We had to be out of our apartment that day. Not cool. I hope to never move again, but if I do I will not be choosing this company.

The actual movers "could" be great, but the office staff dropped the ball on this one. They didn't even try to get someone for a late night move to correct the problem, all I got was "I'm sorry." Customer Service at its finest!

Don't use them. I had a move scheduled and confirmed. Took off work in order to be there during the move. They didn't show up. Turns out they had a man out sick that day. I called and talked to the owner that morning. When I asked why they did not call since they had my phone number, she didn't think it was necessary to notify me they weren't coming. Did show up the next day. Moving guys were nice, but did scrap walls of stairwell getting furniture to second floor.

Firehouse Moving in Terrell Texas Warning! Do not use this company! January 2016 - I contracted these people to pack my house and load it into a truck to move to California and the price was not cheap. Furniture was not wrapped - and was damaged. New refrigerator was taped on the surface and removed protective film from it. Heavy items were loaded on top of fragile items. Filed a claim against them. Received under $300 from them.

When I decided to move I chose this business close to my home because I always like to see local businesses do well and the lady on the phone was very helpful. WHAT A MISTAKE! These movers were very unprofessional and if you decide to use them after my review take out the insurance. I did not. Listed here is the damage I experienced, moving a 1500 sq ft house and 7 hours later (at $115 dollars an hour): 1.

My refrigerator was scratched in numerous places, plus the water tray on the outside was lost. 2. My stove was scratched in several places. 3. When moving boxes into the new house one of them set a box on my stove, which had accidentally been turned on while moving, and there was a large fire. They put the fire out, but not without other damage. My floor and sink were burned and my stove did not clean up entirely where the fire was located.

The box that burned had bathroom things which included all of my curling irons, I had several sizes, hairdryer and hair products which is what probably cause the huge blaze. Of, course none of this stepped up to take the blame. 4. Then during the move I had to listen to two of the guys talk about selling their prescription drugs since they were allergic to them. Quote: "I am not a drug dealer, but if someone wants to give me $100 dollars for the pills I will take it." 5, My walls in the new house were messed up in several places, some which needed repair others that just needed paint. 6. Several pieces of furniture was scratched. If this story does not want to make you find another moving company than "Good Luck.!
