Allied Van Lines with Excel moving based in Raleigh moved me and my 3000 sq ft home FULL of 30 year collectibles and pure glass curio cabinets from NC to CO. Jeremiah from Raleigh estimated my move for me. He was my 1st point of contact with this move and he was a genius and AMAZING!Excel packers Bill & Miguel packed up my whole house into boxes. Marvin moved my boxes and furniture into the semi. Manny drove my items to CO. Manny and Miguel were seriously angels sent from heaven.

They packed and moved my "life" with such care and everything made it to CO safe! Not only did Manny have to bring the semi to CO, he had to transfer ALL my items into a smaller truck before delivering it to me due to no semi fitting at my place in CO. Excel gave me a 10 day window for my items to arrive, and no joke Manny personally made sure my delivery arrived on FIRST day of 10 day window. Jacob in CO helped Manny move my items from truck into my new place. EVERY single person I came into contact with was professional and top notch.

Highly recommend. The movers did a great job and worked very hard. We had a fairly large move and they got it done as promised without even taking any breaks. I want to also thank Josh, the general manager, for stepping up and completing some paperwork for us.

I had the best experience with Excel, and this was my second move with them! The crew, Francisco, Miguel, Thurston and Dave were the utmost professionals and were amazingly efficient! They were also just the nicest people to spend the day with during one of the biggest stressors in life. I am enormously grateful!

The duo they sent to pack my place up were on time, friendly, and super efficient with their process. They did this while remaining respectful of my items and the apartment I was leaving. I thoroughly enjoyed using Excel Moving & Storage to move across the country. All of my furniture was in tact when I received it and they were very professional throughout the entire process! Highly recommend.

I was originally going to stay in The Greensboro area after we sold our home. We paid Excel Moving to pack, store and deliver our belongings. They gave us a fair price $12,000. However the house we were going to purchase in Greensboro fell through and we ended up moving to Tampa Florida. When I called to find out how much extra I would have to pay to deliver to Florida instead of Greensboro, Excel Moving said they would have to charge me for an entire additional move at more than the cost of the original move!

I explained that I had already paid for labor, packing, storage, and delivery into the house. The only additional charge I should have to pay was the difference to transport to Tampa instead of Greensboro. I was basically told too bad, you will have to pay for an entirely new move and an additional $13,000. The move ended up costing me double the original estimate.

There was no justification for this. The only additional cost should have been for additional shipping cost to account for the mileage. In my opinion I was greatly taken advantage of. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have sold everything and bought new in Tampa. Our furniture was not valued at anywhere near the $26,000 it cost to move.

Very dissatisfied with Excel. The estimator, move coordinator, packers, drivers, and unloaders were excellent, but that was more than outweighed by the additional charges and in my opinion price gouging. The only reason I give any stars was due to the employees I dealt with. Of course it is more expensive, but only in Mileage. $1200/600 miles is 20 dollars per mile which is no where near what it cost for a dedicated truck.

You should not have charged me for an entirely new move at double the price. Of course I signed the agreement. I had no choice. I had to get my belongings out of storage or you would have charged me $1000 per month until I could somehow get them from you.

I hope this doesn't sound like a cliche' commercial, but from start to finish this company was AMAZING. They send an estimator to your home, who was so knowledgeable and helpful and surprisingly acutely accurate. (Matt)Then you get calls from the office to make sure you have everything you need and to let you know what step of the process you are in and what to expect on moving day.(Kim) They also allow you to go pick up free boxes and tape from them! (Richard) Then the mover's showed up and I tell you truly, never have I met more professional, kind and hard working men in my life. (Danis, George, Elmer) Long story short, I will never move again without Excel. Great job Everyone! Thank you, I am very grateful!

The people from Excel were right on time Monday and Tuesday to do the packing. Rose and her assistant did an excellent job packing our house. The moving truck arrived this morning and they have been busy loading everything. They really work well, taking care to protect everything. So far I am very pleased with Excel Moving and Storage. Hopefully the delivery goes as well as the packing and loading.

I have moved many times over the years, , but from start to finish, my experience with Excel Moving & Storage was the best moving experience I've had to date. From the initial consultation and follow up by/with Stewart, to the incredible responsiveness of the moving coordinator Kim throughout the process, everything was handled professionally, punctually, and in a friendly manner.

The movers both at pick up and out of state delivery were friendly and professional, on time, and really did treat all of our household goods with care. Would absolutely hire Excel again for another move, top notch.
