Happy I landed on Delicato for my local move recently. Larger national movers were way over-priced and didn't provide as much flexibility as I got with Delicato. Moving day went smoothly. The entire team worked diligently and professionally. I liked Delicato's inventory system for logging items - it provided an easy way to check what was packed, went on the truck, and in my case - went to their storage facility.

I had a few small missing parts for several lamps however. When brought to their attention, the owner, Joe, personally rectified. He went the extra mile and replaced missing parts - finials and harps - on the spot. A small table was damaged too and he sent it off to his shop for repair. It was returned spit and polished. I doubt seriously that any national moving line would accommodate as Delicato did. Highly recommend to anyone in the North Jersey area!

Delicato Transport has moved my homes over the years for over five years, they are responsive, accurate, hard working, ethical, fair priced, and would suggest anyone to use them.

We way overpaid for a bad move! We liked Joe Delicato the owner when he provided an estimate after a thorough walk thru. He had a firm grasp on contents to be moved. Sad thing we never had any more contact with Joe after the initial meeting. Before the move I whittled down household contents significantly with filling a 15 yard dumpster and donating a lot of clothes to the Salvation Army.

We clearly marked the boxes to be moved and I placed all boxes into garage so it was easier for the crew. The company was accommodating to a change in closing date and squeezed us in a week after our initial closing date which we appreciated. The day of the move the 5 member crew (contracted) arrived early and embarked on packing up our home. I work from my home so was busy with work.

I ran out and got some pizza and bottled water for the crew. Delicato used two smaller moving trucks than the company that moved us from Wayne to Augusta NJ. They had to bring in third truck. The move was complete and my wife and I had to rush off to our lawyer for a closing. We arrived home and a mess was left for us with packing blankets and tape all over.

A lot of items such as lamps and a rug were left behind and we ended up having to move them. We found out from our lawyer that a walkthrough of new home and closing on current home would take place the next day. It was a crazy day and I had informed Joe that we would be later in the for the move and this jived with the schedule provided by the Delicato office manager that they would move us to new home after noon.

We were running late and the company called us around 12:15 and we rushed to arrive around 12:45. The 4 man crew (paid for 5 man crew) were again nice fellas and moved our stuff primarily to our garage even though boxes were marked where they were to go. This created a lot of work for my wife and I. I had helped move some stuff and new the 4 man crew were working hard.

We added a couch to be disposed of and a neighbor gave us a cabinet that the crew moved in for us. It was a long long day for all and I guess it was around 7:45 when the crew wrapped up. I saw the crew chief talking to I guess Joe Delicato and we expected to pay $400-500 more than estimate for the delay, the couch disposal, and the cabinet move from neighbor.

We planned to pay cash for a 10% discount.the foreman came back with a new bill for a $1,000 more and we reluctantly paid because we were exhausted from a long few days with the move. To this day we still haven't heard a word since contract signing from Joe Delicato. Sadly I would not recommend this company.the salesman Joe is great but the follow up from the owner was non existent. One positive I got a good workout moving the contents that should have been moved by Delicato transport. Steer clear of this company!

Joe was very professional providing an estimate. He was so knowledgeable he saw things I had missed. When Kevin and Chris arrived exactly on time they were friendly and got right to business. They accommodated my being overwhelmed and we're flexible with things I added to the move. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely use them again as well as highly recommend them to others.

Very happy with my move. Delicato helped me empty my late mother's apartment. They were prompt, quick, and professional, and the pricecwas very fair. I was particularly pleased with they way they handled her art and antiques. Would definitely recommend them

For 2 years I've received only great service from Delicato. Requests to stop by and remove or inventory my belongings are always met with flexible scheduling and personnel available to meet my needs. Well Done!

I would highly recommend Delicato Moving and Storage. Our son recently moved to NYC and had an excellent experience. It was a pleasure from our first call to Amanda to Joe Indelicato coming out to give us an estimate to the actual moving day. The moving team was was incredible. They were so efficient and careful with all our contents. They moved some very heavy items down a flight of stairs. On top of this the final bill was under budget. Thank you and your dedicated staff. All moves are stressful but your team really eliminated most of the stress.

The best! Genuine pro's at furniture moving! We had 3 heavy, delicate pieces of furniture to pack up and move downstairs into a truck. Delicato turned up on time, did an amazing job wrapping up our furniture safely and getting it down some really rickety old wooden stairs. They tied everything securely in back and it all arrived safely after a 300 mile truck ride. I can't recommend these guys enough. Superb job.

After a painful search for movers, I was so glad to stumble upon a company like Delicato. Joe came to my house to provide an estimate. He was professional, thorough, and very informative. He gave me a clear breakdown of cost and services, explaining what each dollar would be spent on. Two gentleman came the day of the move - James and Jimmy. They were prompt, efficient and professional.

I could not be happier with my experience. From Amanda who I scheduled with, to Joe coming to do the estimate, to James and Jimmy coming to do the physical labor of the move, I was impressed throughout. It was an easy, seamless process and most importantly it was affordable. Highly, highly recommend you use Delicato for your moving services.

We hired Delicato to pack our 4 bedroom home and load into a box truck which I drove ~2,800 miles from Morris County NJ to Alberta Canada. Joe was very helpful when he came for the quote and told exactly what parts he needed us to do (very little) and what his team would be able to do (basically everything), he was even able to tell us exactly what size truck to rent.

He was very responsive to any questions and to confirm times etc. His crew did a great job packing everything for us, we haven't found a single damaged item yet and the crew we used to help unload on the delivery side made several comments about how well packed everything was and how they didn't waste an inch on the truck. Joe's crew are super hard workers and were professional, polite, and on time.

They were not the cheapest quote, but very competitive and a great value considering they did just about all of it for us. I took them off recommendation from my parents and a friend who had both used them in recent years and would gladly recommend to others.

Excellent handling of all phases - pre, during and post move to storage - by Joe for 100% satisfaction. The crews were dedicated and professional. Would have no hesitation to recommend them to any one looking to move.

My movers were efficient, kind, and professional. They worked a 9 hour day and never once complained about any items that were not packed or difficult to pack. They climbed the 3 flights of stairs at my new townhouse without anyone issue. It was a stressful day for me and I was so grateful to the guys for making this a pleasant experience. 5 stars for Delicato!

Joe and his team were a pleasure to work with. The entire process was frictionless-from the initial consultation/estimate with Joe, to arranging logistics with his office and ultimately with his team on packing/moving day(s). The entire team was professional, courteous and organized. We feel we made the right choice to trust Joe and team with our belongings. Highly recommend!

The gentlemen who worked with us were timely, productive and careful as they moved us from one household to another. The job was completed without damage to furniture, floors or walls.
