It was an uneasy task to move our stuff to Arizona since we have a lot of artwork and paintings but our moving team handled it perfectly. Everything arrived on time and without damages. Great work!

Serge and his team went above and beyond to make this move a very smooth and less stressful process. Everyone was super helpful and efficient and friendly. If I ever move again, I will use their service in a blink of an eye.

They lost my new TV, agreed to reimburse me partially for another TV. Instead they sent me check for $60, and the letter says that they reimburse me based on weight of the lost item. So disappointed! There were such a nice people who packed me. Nobody knew where they lost my TV. Now, 9 months later they sent me $60.

I've moved many times but this company was the absolute worse company I've ever encountered! Please check all reviews and BBB before using them! They will quote some tiny fine print for any and all issues that may come up. The price tripled, the pick up was hours late, the packing was minimal -not 1 box marked, all clothes thrown in a box with hangers, glass broken. Ana was extremely rude and didn't have anything correct.

Delivery was a nightmare! Over a week late and only 1 person to deliver. He demanded an extra $250 to him personally for delivery and no one from office would answer phone. Absolute worse experience ever!

Worst moving experience ever. They changed the price on the day they showed up for $600 more. I asked them to deliver on Saturday when I get the quote and they said they would make it happen, but they delivered a week later on a weekday, so I have to use a PTO to do the moving. And when I called and negotiate with them, they gave me this strong attitude and blamed it was all my responsibility. Please save your time and money and don't hire them as your moving company!

They are unprofessional, was quoted a price after we told them exactly how many boxes we hand and the dimensions. When they arrived, the price went up by over $1000. The person who came was rude and kept on saying that the estimate doesn't matter. It should if we tell you exactly what you are moving. Then, when they delivered the stuff, we had to pay an additional $600 for things they call post moving fees.

They charged for long distance fee, elevator fee, and a bunch of other things that should of been in the original cost since they knew all of this in advance. Why should I pay an elevator fee when the elevator makes your job so much easier. On top of that, they damaged some of the items, and a few boxes were damaged and crushed. I wouldn't ever use these guys to move a box across the street, straight ripoff and horrible experience. On top of that, their customer service is non-existence after they have your money. You have been warned!

Worst movers ever. Changed price on the day of the move, and then walked off the job. The very definition of bait and switch. Dishonest, unethical, amoral, the very worst of the moving industry. Don't trust Ivan or anyone here if you value your stuff.

Recently I ram into an issue with another company in NYC and they cancel my pickup, As was almost end of the month and i need to get out of the apt and start my transition to another state ACTIVE MOVER return our email in seconds and schedule us for next day, They arrived on time, give us all the details and cost base on our current boxes count and furniture, not hide cost.

The disassemble and pack all the furniture including the ones in the bedrooms and label all the boxes and other item and provide with a manifest. Ones items arrive (7days) the build all the furniture and where super gentle with all the boxes TV's and other items. Really recommended.

I used this company for a move to Colorado from NJ, two men arrived to move everything from the storage unit. They were timely and polite but they changed the quote from the price provided on the phone. I told them my things would be moving to a storage unit they said it was fine and the price would not change from there. I was also asked times and days I would be available, I said week days after 3 and weekends.

He gave a receipt told me that by my eArliest date provided someone would call to give me an approximate arrival which was the following Saturday, no one called. I called Sunday to try to make schedule changes if needed for work to accommodate the movers someone answered said they would call back and never did. I get a call Thursday that says they will be there around 2pm Friday. Friday during my work shift I get a call that he is on his way at 11:30 and will be there at 12:30.

I cannot leave work on command everything has to be prearranged. After 3/4 calls and texts back and forth I made them aware I would not be able to leave work and meet until the time Discussed on the previous day. I get to the storage facility and the guy has this huge truck (18 wheeler) that is unable to make the turns needed to get directly up door, so he measures the distance from the truck to the unit and quoted a price in excess of what was discussed and says I will wait for the payment before I can start to unload.

He is by himself on this truck moving everything alone. I end up moving most of the boxes, bins and small furniture myself while he moved the large furniture items (4) and 2 TVs. This moving experience was absolutely terrible.

Show up late, the worst movers, and trying to charge more money, one advice, stay away from active moving, you can not trust criminal like that with your property .

I called Vitaly (Aleks) this afternoon and explained that I had had another moving company try to help me with a 550 pound table top - they'd failed. Vitaly and his 2 guys showed up within an hour and flawlessly (I've never seen anything like it) put an enormous 12 foot by 4 foot table into the elevator and into my office. We were all incredibly impressed. This review below is literally unfathomable to me. Vitaly could not have been more professional, efficient, etc.‎

I had to move an upright piano to the second floor. I called several piano moving companies but when they came and saw the job they refused to do it, claiming that stairway is too narrow. Active Moving, Inc was the only company which told me that they can do it and they did it. I was really really amazed by the work of piano movers. They are smart and strong. Thank you guys again.
