I am so pleased with this company. I have used them three times now. They were friendly, professional, on time and did extra little things like put felt pads on the bottom of all furniture so my wood floors would not get scratched. They wrapped my wood furniture so it wouldn't get damaged in the move. Also, one of the movers actually fixed the back of a wooden chair and I didn't even ask him to. So very kind of him. Great people.

These guys were great! Recommended to me by a friend for an apartment move within DC, they gave me a really great quote and didn't have an hourly minimum like every other moving company I contacted. They dealt with a very annoying property manager at my old place and followed all the buildings nitpicky rules, were super friendly, hard working, and efficient. I will definitely use them in the future!

Initially, I was going to hire another company. But, I learned that the company was only a referral company that shopped jobs to several vendors in my area. This was a MAJOR problem for me because I had to move on a specific date and time. The company was unable to meet my schedule and find a vendor in time. I had less than 72 hours before my move and no MOVERS!

I was in PANIC mode. I quickly did a search on GROUPON and found D and R Movers. I saved $200 with my GROUPON

I highly recommend this company! They were available and reasonably priced for my move. I found Rashod and his staff to be very professional. My move was local (meaning it was within the same zip code). The movers called ahead of time to provide an estimated arrival time.

The movers arrived on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk through to assess the amount of furniture. The movers were extremely careful with my fragile items. Given the amount of fragile items, my move was done in 4 hours.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. I contracted with Rashod of D&R Movers to move my furniture from MD to GA. He came with a tiny truck everything would not fit. He promised and assured me that he would would bring the rest of my things down within the next month. Here we are a year later and I do not have rest of my furniture. I paid him in full, and now he will not return my texts and/or phone calls.

A friend of mine also called him and asked him to bring it to her house instead. He said ok. She took a day off from work and did not show. Now he will not answer her calls. I am forced to take legal action against Rashod and his company. He is dishonest and of low moral values.

The guy at D&R movers were great! I was able to use a Living Social deal. They were quick, efficient, and kind. They took great care of my belongings. They moved my giant dresser up the stairs of my new rowhouse apartment. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking to move. Straightforward pricing, quick communication.

TERRIBLE experience. If you find a livingsocial deal don't purchase, I promise this will not end up being cheaper than hiring a more professional, reputable company. Super slow since they charge you by the hour and very unprofessional. No care whatsoever in moving belonging, throw everything on wheels and bash it around. REALLY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
