This company is a family owned and community based enterprise. Founded by Mr. Johnson in January 2008, the company has employed between 60 to 80 talented workers since being birthed 4.5 years ago. For those new employees who have come in the door cooked on one side and raw on the other, Mr. Johnson has made sure to have them fully cooked on both sides since this is the best way to demonstrate our growth. The company is registered with the State of Maryland in Baltimore, Department of Asset and Taxation. The company is insured with general liability coverage through Bricker Insurance Agency, Bowie Maryland. The company is also bonded with Western Surety Company, South Dakota.

I truly appreciate the work you did, I will highly recommend jj professional movers, they were able to move my stuff from my old apartment to my new apartment while I was at work, I trusted them with all my belongings and they delivered. JJ & his worker were able to accommodate me with a few days notice for a local move. Professional and courteous from the time they arrived to when everything was packed away in storage. They were quick and neat with my bed take down as well. I highly recommend them and will reach out when needed again :o

Very professional & fast! I needed my queen mattress, bed frame, queen dresser and living room table moved immediately! They met me at my old apartment, moved all 4 items out with no scratches, no dents, no damage & drove to my new apartment 25 min away, set everything back up perfectly.all in under a hour & half literally! Not professional. Damaged a television and refused to take responsibility for it. Employee said she had a high risk pregnancy and couldn't handle the stress of me asking about some form of recourse for a busted TV screen. When I asked if someone else could handle the claim matter, I was ignored and ghosted. I have followed up numerous times over several weeks and never had my calls or emails answered.
Totally unprofessional. Additionally, during the move, they asked for my help moving things in. I didn't realize I was a employee! Cannot dissuade you strongly enough from using their "services".

The worst moving company ever, intentionally stall moving time to harass client for extra charges, damages furniture and does not admit it, like I know what my furniture looked like before the move, if it's cracked it's ur fault obv. Super rude woman that owns the the business, so unprofessional and just awful as a person. There are tons of good moving companies around dmv, stay away from them.

One word GHETTO. I try to support black business but this company is ghetto. Did not secure my TV just threw it the back of the truck between two mattresses. My TV was damaged and they refuse to give insurance information to get compensation. Very unprofessional. They need to invest in real packaging supplies. Very raggedy if you ask me.

Worst moving company ever, arrives late, worked 6 hours for a studio apartment and charged $130 for every hour past 3 hours for moving apartments 10 mins away. Then had a lady call and coerce you into paying the extra fee. I moved a small studio worth of furniture and it took 7 hours costing $700. Insanely rude lady on the end of phone to communicate with that was extremely unprofessional to say the least resorting to threats to sue and call the police if you didnt pay her the extra amount, which was for every extra hour past (had already payed $370).
Then come to realize that they built the bed wrong after they left and had to rebuild it myself. What kind of moving company takes 6 hours to move a studio and doesnt know how to assemble a basic ikea bed? NEVER USE ALSO after they saw the review, they texted and emailed me local news article on suing people for negative reviews of their business seemingly trying to intimidate me.

I've called these guys to help me move twice and recommended them to a friend once, and I must say they are GOOD! They are very thorough and professional, and I appreciate that they will text you their correspondence. I never had an issue with them about being on time or damaging my things (which I feel are most important when moving). Everything is protected with furniture sliders or this saran wrap looking thing (I didn't even have to take my drawers out of the dresser.
They just wrapped it with something that looked like saran wrap lol.) I also like how efficient they are. During my last move, my apartment concierge overbooked the loading elevator. They reported it back to me, and by the time I called and complained to apartment management they were already finished! I have nothing negative to report from these guys, and I plan to move with them again in the future.

John and his crew were a great help during our move, last week. They were very fast and, at the same time, careful not to damage any furniture. They were also patient with changing the arrangement of furniture to make sure everything was set up right. I'd definitely recommend them highly to anyone preparing for a move in the area.

I called JJ at 7pm on a Monday, per the recommendation of another moving company who I had reached out to. I needed assistance for a job the next day. He asked a few brief questions about the job and asked to call me back in a few minutes, which he did. We communicated via text regarding images of furniture and he was patient with me while I tried to figure out just how much stuff we had!
Despite my late planning, the truck showed up before noon the next day and had everything unloaded by 6pm. The three movers were very nice and had positive attitudes the whole time they were emptying out two buildings with stairs and a broken AC in the 94 degree summer heat. Needless to say, we were so thankful for their help at such late notice!

I would like to be able to give a review of their moving experience but I cannot simply because they never confirmed my appointment. I requested for a mover to come out to my home and do an estimate. I was told by James that I would get a call on Monday 8/25. Then Hillary Johnson from Sales informed me that they were "very busy" and would call me the following day.
I called four times and needless to say there was no retun call. I used another agency and have comfortably moved on. Thankful I didn't purchase that Groupon first! I would beware.
