I strongly recommend El Cheapo. We had a very positive experience working with them, they are easy too book, no hidden fees, very responsive and kind. The crew who came to do the move was awesome. Our move was not easy, our townhouse has 4 floors. But they managed to do it fast and with a great attitude. They are fast, effective and cordial. 5 stars.

The movers showed up early and got right into moving us, they wasted no time. They moved our 2 bedroom apartment in 2 1/2 hours. Super impressive. Our movers were Isaiah, Omar and one of their brothers. Super nice, professional and fast. I would highly recommend them and this moving company. Fantastic experience!

. We used EC first time in 2010. Had a great experience. So when we moved again this spring we called them back. They still had our old record & inventory from 12 years ago! Setup easy & professional. Moving day was perfect - the crew was friendly, courteous, efficient, and nothing was damaged. I would use them again in a heartbeat. FIVE STARS.

I was so nervous about my move (couches fitting, stuff, stuff getting broken, etc ) and a great friend of mine mentioned "el cheapo" moved her around 6-7 years ago. So I took the chance and their quote was great compared to other movers I looked up. The three guys I got were great, nice, polite and cared about my stuff. Got the couches in my new place no issues.

All within great timing. They guy called prior showing up and called when he arrived to the new place. I'm very very satisfied with my experience with these movers and will 1000% be using in the future. Thank you for making this move so stress free, it's one of the moves where I didn't end up in tears.

I have complicated feelings about this moving company. I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience dealing with the people in then office (I think it was primarily one individual, who others have also mentioned). He was rude, unreasonable, and just generally offered truly awful customer experience. Based on that, I was planning on giving this move one star, because they caused so much stress before the move itself.

I won't get into the details, but all the ridiculous requirements about the number of boxes and providing an items list were nuts. I've never experienced anything like that. Also, the DAY before the move, I was informed that they expected each box to be only half full, which is absolutely ridiculous - particularly the day before a move - when you're obviously already packed. Luckily, the actual movers were AMAZING. Fast, kind, and went out of their way to be super helpful.

They really turned my experience around and I couldn't have been happier with them. Ultimately, though, the charge was absolutely insane. I've had many moves prior to this one (with other moving companies) and I've never paid more that $350 total. Though I did have more to move this time, the move cost about $1000 (!) just for a one bedroom, which is both ridiculous and disgusting.

I want to say thanks to the awesome men who moved my things safely, but I would stay FAR away from this company. They don't care about their customers at all and will rip you off without a second thought.

I have used El Cheapo Movers to move multiple times. I used them for just one couch because I didn't feel like taking it up the stairs, and the movers were pros about the narrow staircase. It definitely is something I wanted to leave to the professionals! I have also booked a move with them for my one bedroom condo. The building management is strict about elevator timings, and El Cheapo came within the time they promised.

It went smoothly and I was glad. I had envisioned so many possible things that could go wrong because I find moving to be incredibly stressful. I have met different movers working there, but all of them have been relaxed and friendly which eased my mind. If I have to move again, which I hope that I don't anytime soon! I will definitely be booking El Cheapo. They are the best movers in Toronto!

Knew I was taking a chance with them since I've heard horror stories, but did it anyways. Let's just say, lesson learned. They were so rude, careless, and unprofessional. It was such an incredibly disappointing experience during an already stressful time, a move. Completely not worth it. The main guy was one of the most unpleasant people I've had to interact with and wasn't willing to provide any level of customer service whatsoever.

The careless ways these guys were taking my boxes, resulted in the breakage of a few items (items were packed appropriately). If you do choose to go with El Cheapo do make sure the list of items you give them is EXACTLY on point, not a box under, or they literally will refuse to take an extra box or two (even if you offer to carry it to their truck yourself!).

Also make sure that there is not even one single loose item hanging out in any of your drawers or they will also refuse (rudely) to take the item. Not only that, they leaked oil from the truck all over my driveway and the cost was also twice as much as quoted. My father even had to offer them extra CASH on the side just so they would take the extra COUPLE of boxes. A major RIP OFF if I've ever seen one.

If I could give 10 stars for our experience today, I would. Our movers, Logan, Solomon, and Dwayne, were so friendly and professional, and incredibly fast and efficient. I've never had such great movers in all my many moves. They navigated a difficult move in -30 degree weather, and had a smile on their faces as they did it. They creatively solved some issues that I thought would mean us having to break something to make it fit through, but they went above and beyond to figure it out.

I've had other great moves with El Cheapo, but today was by far the best. I would book El Cheapo again in a second, and would recommend them just as quickly. They made a stressful situation totally stress free. Thanks guys!

Worst day ever. My son is 3 and loved his piano we started a new life the baby grand piano was a gift from me to my husband. The service was not expensive 380 dollars. Everything smooth until the piano was in the new house. Did not open all the way and the pedals did not work. I asked Mike what they were going to do about he just left and got in the truck.

The other associate tried to explain that we could play the piano even if the flap on top of the keys did not open all the way.then everybody left. and we ended with a broken piano. our piano was not brand new but was I perfectly fine and working after that my family just have a broken piano. I tried to call Mike started yelling I texted the number in the contract they just answered we were an scam. my son is on the autism spectrum that's why that piano is so important to us.

After receiving the message that said we were an scam I just said god bless you enjoy the 380 and started crying. It was frustrating and hurt that there is people that really don't care about anything. So this is our review. I guess this is what you pay for right? Shame In order to post this I need to hit an star. I wish I can put it with zero star.

El Cheapo moved me from Toronto to Port Hope last week. Logan, Dwayne and Jake were the crew. They were so great: on time, careful with things, organized, friendly, worked quickly. The office experience was also very good. I will be recommending El Cheapo to friends
