We have had multiple issues using Capitol North Americans service - including damage and loss of items. When we asked to speak to the President of the company due to multiple problems they have been unresponsive. We were also told to get the cashier's check for payment at a lower amount and now they're coming back to us for more money. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I felt like I was treated very well when I called for a quote to move all my personal belongings from Las Vegas to Central New York. Not only did they give me the best quote but put me at ease concerning all aspects of making the move. The answered all my questions, kept me informed about when they would pick up & when they were on the road. They even arrived a day earlier than expected. ALL my boxes were there & no issues with their condition.
They worked through a snow storm & the entire time unloading there was not one complaint. I have already recommended them to a friend who is moving cross country A truly seamless experience. Thank you North America Van Lines!

I used this company because I'm a disabled veteran and this company was on the DAV discount list. However after upon calling them trying to use my discount I was told that if I used that discount it would actually cost me $2000 more! After several email attempts and phone calls our coordinator responded to zero. Our furniture was handled with disregard and disrespect.
Several items Were broken as well as a couch and a love seat that it apparently had been dragged on its sides. The items the team packed such as lamps and pictures were left still in the carton. One large painting was marked "three glass shelves" set up crew at delivery were careless and reckless and it was evident that their speed to get out was top priority.
One worker had boxes on a dolly trying to shove through a doorway and I told him to be careful with the items. More damaged furniture and scratched flooring from where it was dragged from the hall into the bedroom. The crew arrived two hours on time while the driver I am never called me personally was delayed two hours at the waystation having to change to unacceptable tires.
A claim form for all the damages has been filed. Also the furniture was loaded onto a truck and then unloaded into a holding area where another truck loaded the items up and brought to my location according to the driver. I was not aware that my belongings would be moved in and out so often. I would definitely not recommend This company.

The move time was set, and we had to call them after the time slot to find out when they would arrive. Upon delivery, additional movers were not qualified for the safe moving process which was promised. Several items have been damaged and not receiving an adjuster for at least 60 days! Broken and unfulfilled promises!

The movers and move coordinator were very good and I have nothing but good things to say about the company and people except for one thing: it appears that they lost or misplaced a kitchen table and, so far, after two weeks, have not resolved the loss. I am hoping they will get back to me soon with an appropriate response.

We experience very good service with these folks they were prop and right on time with everything. Our driver Jeff Daly was awesome he was very courteous and polite. I'm moving day to move to our new place in Missouri he brought some really awesome to help with them they were all polite nice courteous he pick the best people to move us go to the other in here Missouri and he did the same thing he bought some really awesome guys with them they were all polite and courteous!
I would highly recommend north American to anyone! I want to thank you Marsha and Ian for the good service we had! And thank the 3 men we had as were moving out and the 3 men we had moving in to our new house! They keeper! And I want thank Jeff for being good driver. If ever had to move again I would use the same crew! Thank you for all the good help!

My initial impression was that they were professional and efficient. The sales rep was receptive initially. When I tried to follow up with Mr. Hills, regarding some delivery concerns, he failed to return any of our calls. Boston Mike and Cesaer were amazing! They packed, inventoried, dismantled beds, wrapped furniture in a 12 hour period. Crazy long day!
The pack day went quickly because of their focus to details on day one. It took 4 guys 6 hours to load containers from a 3000 sq ft house to containers on a flat bed. Some overflow went into a cube truck. That was a Friday. Due to internal company fleet issues, my property sat in their warehouse for a week. My family was moving from NV to NE. When dispatch finally organized my transport, nobody bothered to inform me that ALL of my belongings were not on the truck arriving 2 weeks after picked up.
The driver called to confirm date and time. He was the bearer of the bad news! After giving the poor coordinator an ear full, a manager called and made good on getting the remainder of our things to us, 3 days later! We have made over 12 corporate moves over the years. This experience was by far the worst.

I'm happy to say that the 3 men who arrived to pack our home into a truck were great and I tipped them well. That is about all I can say positively about this company. Missed the pick-up window (i.e the scheduled driver who was to pack our things and drive them to our destination was not there), missed the delivery window, damaged our items in their warehouse while they were stored, moving team didn't have appropriate boxes/crates that were on our work order/quote.
The team began packing our things into a truck, then without filling the truck management told them mid-day to go get a different truck to pack the rest. This is probably why we had our people's belongings in our load. I have moved many times across state-lines and across national borders and I have never experienced such poor business practices with a moving company.
Management should be embarrassed by such poor organization. When I have contacted them to request customer service for our damaged items they are unresponsive. Sure enough they send me an auto-message to please leave them a review. Well I hope my review discourages the next person from using this company.
