Critical: Professionalism Rick was extremely NASTY to both my wife and me. He said our job was too complicated. I was insulted the way he treat me as a customer.

Rick & James moved a 5' long all-glass display cabinet across town for me. These guys went to look at it 1st, talked about how they would move it without taking it apart or breaking it, then made it happen. I moved from an apartment to my first house in mid-September, 2017, and I had a positive experience with A-1 Movers right from the start. I spoke with Rick on the phone and he took the time to get all the information necessary to be prepared for the day of the move. Availability was flexible, pricing was clear, and I could tell that he cares very much about his profession.

On the day of the move, my family and I were not fully prepared and we underestimated how many boxes that we had to move, but Rick and his team jumped right in and were able to move everything quickly. The entire team was professional and polite, despite my chaotic living situation, and they got the job done right, handling all of my antique furniture with great care. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely go with A-1 movers in the future.

Rick & Jamal moved our family 3 times. The first was a trip from Columbus to Cincinnati with my grandpas antique desk and bookcase from Germany. Next, my move from my house to storage and finally, from storage to my new house. They take the best care of your stuff, are careful not to mess up your house, are hard workers and best of all, polite and friendly. I will continue to recommend A-1 Movers to friends and family! Good Quality and Price I had to move on short notice during the height of the summer moving season. I had downsized from a 3 bedroom house to an 1 bedroom apartment while selling my house six moths earlier. Then I had to move again and wasn't going to call on friends and family again. I'm the type of person that checks everyone in regards to price and reviews.

Prior to contacting A-1 I had called and researched a dozen companies. I don't know what those businesses were doing, but they were rude, overpriced, and had terrible reviews. A-1 didn't have many reviews, so i wasn't sure (and that's why I'm writing one now). From the first conversation I had, I already felt better. The other companies were rude like they were doing me a favor, charged more than made sense, and had next to no availability.

I called A-1 and spoke directly to the owner. He was polite and despite being busy made things work according to my schedule on short notice(2 days). He quoted me a price that was much more reasonable and substantially less than anyone else I called. When he arrived on time he explained that his crew had been working non stop and needed a day of rest so he brought a new guy since it was a small 1 bedroom move.

I bring this up because initially I was concerned when he said this, but he was on top of every move made and ensured quality. You could tell he really cared. That was big considering all the other reviews I read reported nightmare moves from basically people that didn't care about your stuff and damage resulted with no compensation. I honestly expected some damage as its almost impossible for something to not happen, but there was no issue.

I literally could not have been happier and I hope you have a good experience too. Also I am the type of person that goes the extra mile so I hired the best bed bug sniffing dog in the tri state after to make sure my new apartment didn't have any bed bugs and that my belongings didn't get any from the move. For what its worth, to anyone like me, A-1's truck and moving pads were good at the time (Cincy has the worst bed bug problem in the country so a genuine concern). Thanks A-1

We hired A-1 Movers twice within two months to help us relocate and will absolutely be calling them for any future moves! They were early, professional, and very careful with all of our belongings.
