We contacted This company based on their reviews and received an estimate. Despite their forms and website stating that an estimate would occur in person, their estimator decided to do a virtual estimate. We voiced our concerns that the estimate would not be as accurate virtually but received attitude and was told there was no difference. Unfortunately, we decided to believe this company.
The team that was sent was provided with a truck that was far too small for the move, so the team had to make two trips. Additionally, despite the fact that we personally moved all tvs, mirrors, artwork, tools, bicycles, and other breakable items ourselves the day before (which had been included in the original estimate), and we assisted the movers with taking things off and onto the truck, the move took 3.5 hours longer than we were quoted.
If we had not assisted and personally moved all that we did the day prior, the move would have taken 4.5-5.5 hours longer than we were quoted! There was also damage done to multiple walls, wood floors and multiple pieces of furniture. I called to first report these concerns during the move, left a voicemail and did not receive a call back. Unacceptable.
We called the company back two more times later in the week attempting to address the issue. We were promised a call back, did not receive one, so we had to call back yet again. While we did receive a half hour credit for the time the movers had to go back for their second load, and a half hour credit for the time the movers took for a lunch break, these credits were only given after multiple stern phone calls.
I would strongly recommend using another moving company in the area if you are at all concerned about accuracy in you estimate or customer service. The damages have not yet been addressed as they will not even consider damages until the invoice (for the additionally hours it took the movers, which far exceed the quote) is paid. We will be filing complaints with the BBB and Ohio Attorney General.

The move of my elderly parents with Bell Moving went VERY WELL - from the estimating appointment with Joe, processing with Vicki, and follow up with Chaz. I specifically want to commend the excellent team we had on Moving Day which was Dustin's crew: Dustin, Jacob, James, Jeff, and Brandon. They arrived to the job site on time, displayed professionalism throughout the entire work day, worked amazingly hard, and were trustworthy. I would never use another moving company again that is not Bell Moving. Dustin's crew specifically made the move go smoothly. and who can ever say that about moving?

Bell Moving is the real deal, on time, their professional, the best movers I have had. Let me be very clear, this is from personal experience. I only post the truth so read below carefully. The worst movers are All My Sons and Two Men and a Truck. Both were incompetent did thousands of dollars of damage to my house and property. Several words that I think of both companies, All My Sons and Two Men and a truck are, incompentedent, crooks, lazy and careless, Unprofessional. Never let them move you. You been warned.

In full disclosure, we did NOT end up using them, but thus my review. It's the middle of a global pandemic, and they sent someone to our home for a site estimate with NO MASK and when asked, admitted he is NOT vaccinated. Sorry, that's the height of irresponsibility. Just putting this information out there for anyone to digest as they see fit. You are literally taking your life and health into your own hands. We sent him away at the door and called the office to learn they do NOT require their people to be vaxed.

Well if I could give a -100 I would worst move ever! The military assigned this company our stuff. Where to start. Lady at front office. total ass B*tch! Was to worried about her vacation/time off which meaning she never returned calls and our stuff been sitting in storage for a week she signed off that our stuff was received then denied it till I sent her paperwork showing where she signed off on it.
Then she tells me it will be 3 1/2 weeks till our stuff can be delivered. The military has to pay daily for storage of our stuff sounds like great way to make extra cash for their company. bullshit story! 3 1/2 weeks! Now movers! We had guy who was part of team who tried TRIED to be a cool ass looking MAN and carry a piece of antique that weighed around 200+ pounds and then in that way he ruined it.
This he couldn't deny as they found the broken off piece in the moving truck. That being a $9,000 as it was appraised for piece will be costing them. Once we found out he broke it the sissy ass ran like hell and was hiding in the moving truck acting busy due to his ass was busted for damaging our stuff. That piece of furniture took 2 movers that was packing our house out no reason for him to touch it on his own.
Then the ass who broke it was throwing boxes in rooms cause he had AirPods in and was to worried about dance and sing and make TikTok ( guarantee my house was on TikTok). His ass should be fired! Now let's talk about my fridge that now has a huge dent in it. Yeap sure does! All due to the movers! We were told if they didn't have to unpack they would come back for boxes.
I got boxes piled high in garage they now REFUSE to come pick them up. Then a third party was to come open crates. never showed up and never have to this day (2 weeks later) I had to open the crates myself. which means who's stuck with crates now? Yeap F'ing me cause they never showed up. Which means I have to hire someone to come pick this up to trash it for us. That's around $100.00 I have moved to many places and this was the top of the list awful move!
Hell one old guy wouldn't shut up enough to even get boxes in house. Annoyed by a mover is the worst! Just shut up and unpack don't need to hear your life story! If I could find a way to take legal matters I would! Let's close this company down and take our money else places who gives a care about customers! F'ing piece of shit company! Notice they love the very very few 5 star comments! Whoever wrote those must be family.

These guys are awesome! I seriously can not say enough good things about them. Scott, Bruce, Robb and Zoloft were super friendly, ultra professional and unbelievably courteous. These guys moved so much heavy furniture for us and had a smile on their face all day long. They wrapped EVERY piece of furniture in moving blankets and clear wrap, unwrapped everything and hauled off the trash. They truly made the moving process enjoyable. I would h8ghly recommend these 4 guys and Bell Moving all day long! Thanks so much guys!

Beware! They did not show up on moving day! They are not the Bell Movers of the past. I thought they were a reputable and honest local Cincinnati company. Not any longer. Prepare for your packing charges to be far above the estimate. They sent 1 person to pack my entire house. And then on moving day they never showed up! My family patiently waited until 2 pm.
We had to reschedule the move for 19 days later. And then they overcharged me by 1,040 lbs ($500+). Thank goodness I asked about the final weight when I received my bill. And I received no apology. I spoke with the president and he just gave excuses for how busy they are and how they would have found the weight discrepancy later. Really? After I paid the bill I would've received a refund?
If you use Bell Movers be sure to have a backup moving day, prepare to pay far above your estimate, and go line by line through your bill. They are accepting too many jobs and their quality and honesty are suffering.

We used Bell for our move to Florida - big mistake. The final cost was more than our estimate and we initially didn't know why because there was no itemized bill, but we had to pay to get our stuff. We had to call to get that final bill - they did not disclose on our estimate the additional charges for packing and UNpacking mattresses. Also charged for unpacking our TV which was not done.
Only half the scheduled crew showed up to pack us up in Ohio, so it took 2 days rather than 1 and then of course, delayed getting to Florida causing us additional costs in lodging while waiting for them. Took and entire week to get here. The crew in Florida installed one headboard on backwards, and when told about it, they still didn't install it property requiring my husband to remove it entirely and fix it after they left.
He also had to tighten up the master headboard, and they didn't attached the mirror to a dresser since they had misplaced the braces for it. Several items damaged. Complained to parent company (Wheaton) and locally, but no response.

We have made 3 cross-country moves (2 of which we had not one issue) and this is by far the worst. Admittedly our move was complex. Bell moved us out of a condo in Mason, OH, stored our belongings for 4 years then shipped them to our house in California via Wheaton. Many items were lost or damaged. As instructed we filed a claim with Wheaton. Wheaton denied almost everything and said to talk with Bell.
We contacted Bell. Bell denied almost everything and said we should go back to Wheaton. Both are saying their paperwork shows the damage/loss did not happen on their watch. I do not care who caused the damage/loss. I hired Bell who acted as agent for Wheaton. I would expect a consolidated resolution. Instead each company is hiding behind the other.

Now that I am finally into my new home and out of storage; I would like to update my experience. Let me explain how these scammers inflate their charges. I have been unpacking now for about two weeks, and I am slowed down by the sheer amount of paper I have to throw away. Remember, the packers charge not by the hour but by the box - up to 40 dollars (that the "discounted rate" from 113 dollars) per "dishpack" box.
Other types of boxes are cheaper, but, all are way overpriced. I have filled and thrown away approximately 30 large 40 gal trash bags worth of packing paper by now. They took extra care to paper wrap with great care my most fragile items such as cotton tshirts, plastic Tupperware and pencils. On top of this, they ruined my leather headboard. The one thing they didn't think to wrap. Also, by the way. The movers I had take me out of storage cost 450, compared to the 3000 that you quoted. You crooks.

Amazing company. We have used many times throughout the years and they prove time and time again that they remain unmatched. The moving experience was almost effortless and the staff communicated every step of the way to make sure that we were comfortable and on schedule. Definitely would recommend!

We've packed up our household belongings, We took pictures for every box, and handwriting numbers on them! We moved from OH to NC. After the move is over we found some valuable cooking wares were missing. At first, the thought of moving company theft didn't even cross our mind but as we frantically tore through box after box it was clear that something wasn't right. After a thorough search of our home and all storage I finally realized that I had experienced moving company theft.

I hope you read this review before hiring this moving company. I would rather strap furniture to my own back before hiring them again. In my opinion, this company is the most dishonest, disrespectful and deceitful group of individuals I've ever dealt with. and we've moved 18 times in 33 years. but I'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around. DO NOT USE BELL! Wish I could assign a negative star rating. Extremely disappointed we made the very costly mistake of using Bell. Our final charges were hundreds of dollars over the initial estimate provided after an in-house, in-person assessment by salesman Chris Egan. The moving crew left items in the home we were moving from, did not inform us, causing us to unexpectedly find on our own, then scramble to find a solution to remove on our own, and transport items on our own. The movers left multiple scratches on furniture, floors and walls, and tracked in dirt on the carpet. Our experience with Bell was very underwhelming and extremely costly. Overall the entire moving process was very disappointing.

Do not use. Cannot express fully how disappointed I was with their service. I am just now ( 3 months later) receiving some of my furniture back from repair. They came to load a 3 story house with 2 people. Another person came by mid-afternoon. It took almost 13 hours to pack the truck- till 11 pm at night! They were in an accident that night and destroyed 3 pieces of solid oak furniture among a mound of other items.
All oak furniture eventually repaired BUT not a speedy or easy process by any means. This moving company has been a headache and heartache. I wish I would have shopped around even more than I did. There is not enough room here to list the many problems we had with them.

Initially contacted Bell moving and tried to finalize an initial pick up day. They initially delayed in giving me a day and time. When I did get both, they showed up hours later than agreed. They would call and say they would show at a particular time. They kept me waiting for hours-literally, just to realize they only sent one guy to move an entire house. Terrible communication on the logistics of the move. Bad service shouldn't be an added hassle on top of the "move" itself!
