WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. First started off with an early call asking if I'd like a 3rd person at an extra charge and was told that job would get done much faster, so I reluctantly agreed. However, I feel I was grossly taken advantage of. Job took them from 9:45am-5pm (with a 2 hour lunch break for which they only gave me a $20/guy discount) to move my 2500 square foot house (that two of the rooms had built in furniture that did not require moving).

My bill as $2700! They did not remove everything they were supposed to remove (I had to call and was told that they were already back to the shop which wasn't true, they were still sitting in my new driveway to which the office person responded that I would have to drive over myself (new house is only 200 yards away from old one) and tell them to come back.

They did come back but only for me to be told they'd be back on the clock (when I then questioned the office person about the 2-hour lunch I was told he'd "ask them" about it and explained I had received the aforementioned discount which is a joke considering I was paying $160/hour/person and there were 3 of them. Furthermore, they were instructed to put large furniture items in a pod (as our wood floors were being finished) but boxes in the appropriate room per the labels.

We then discovered all of our boxes piled to the rafters of the pod, behind the furniture. We are having to unpack the entire pod just to get basic necessities out. The buyers of our old house arrived today and used ALL MY SONS MOVING and said they only took 1.5 hours to pack their entire 3000 sqft house! The only positive was that one of the young movers with a small goatee was very polite.

Donavan and Russell were great. Didn't waste any time and were very careful with my stuff. Would recommend them to anyone!

Used Cross Town movers to load a 20 foot U-Haul with furniture, boxes and tools. Rob and Nick did an outstanding job. They were fast and their ability to fit everything in like a puzzle resulted in a stable load with room to spare. They were careful to ensure everything was packed carefully to avoid damage. Great job!

Russell and Donovan were hard workers! Worked quickly and efficiently and were very friendly. Not a scratch left in the home, nor any damaged items! They were really good about getting items directed to the right spaces and even taking a couple of things back and forth between two properties. Two extremely professional and clearly nice guys! Would reccommend and will definitely call again for any future moves in the family.

Russell and Salvador were incredible! They got the job done and took such great care of our belongings. We will definitely be using them again! Thank you!

Our movers Salvadore and Russell were great. They worked extremely hard and were safe and efficient. We threw a little bit of everything at them and they answered the call without skipping a beat. I'm very happy we went went Crosstown Movers and recommend them to anyone in the valley. Great job!

We have used Crosstown at least 4 times now and have had nothing but good experiences with them. This time we had the pleasure of Gage and Rob helping us out. They showed up on time, were very professional and took care of everything as if they were moving their own items. Everything was carefully packed in the truck with padding to avoid damages. Rob and Gage were also super careful with moving into our new place that has hardwood floors and padded up where they walked and laid down the items.

To Crosstown management, I have never met you but I have met all your team members who helped us, and I would like you to know that I am a return customer because of them. A good company is only as good as their team and your team members like Rob and Gage are true assets to you. I hope you will reward them well and keep them happy.

This was my first experience with professional movers, and I'm never going to haul my own stuff again! Tyler and Andrew L. were great! Fast, neat, and strong! I was especially impressed how well they got their giant truck into the tight alleys of my storage unit!

We had CTM move us from Boise to Nampa in Jan. 2018. Now we're having them move us from Nampa to Middleton Idaho and these folks are GREAT! I don't know any other local movers who care more about customers and their belongings. Because of the great work they did we hired them again.

We have used Cross Town movers twice within the last year and both times they were fabulous. From scheduling, to re-schedule, to handling multiple pick up locations, they nailed it. Our most recent moving crew, Gage and Colin were on-time, professional, and had the best 'can-do attitude'--even when moving the big stuff upstairs. They cared for our belongings and home as if it was their own. I NEVER want to move again, but if I had to--I would dial-up Cross Town Movers in heart beat.

I would have given them a 4 star because the staff is amazing, but after I spoke with, I believe her name is Beth. I will not use there services again, she seemed like she was angry about something, I'm not sure what, but with her personality and costumer service skills need some real help.

Had to write a review about this wonderful moving company that helped my lady and I into our new place. Morgan and Halen went above and beyond moving our stuff: Professional, polite, kind--they were awesome! I highly recommend this company for your moving needs, thanks again guys!

Brandon and Daniel were professional, personable, polite to us and very respectful of our belongings. When they discovered that the HEAVIEST piece of furniture that we owned wouldn't fit right upstairs, they moved it back downstairs without complaint. Lesser men would have thought, "she said upstairs, so we'll leave it up there." Instead they pointed out the curved walls and how the piece would block the windows.

They were right. There would have been no way my husband and I would have been able to move it after they'd gone. We used Cross Town Movers 23 years ago the last time we moved and they are still just as excellent. I can't recommend them more highly. Wish there were more than five stars! In my experience, there are two types of movers. It is not divided between those who know what they're doing and those who don't, nor is it divided between those who are strong and those who are not. The difference is attitude. Movers can pause what they're doing when you're not looking, or they can keep pushing to get the job done.

They can move one box at a time, or load as many as the hand truck can carry. They can "check messages" or they can leave their phones in the cab of the truck. I surely hope all Crosstown Movers' guys are like George and Luke, because their positive attitude and pride in their work made all the difference. Many thanks for cutting WAY down on my stress level, guys.

They were super communicative, professional, on-time and easy to work with; highly recommend! They unloaded our one-way drive into town and were willing to assemble furniture. Very nice guys from initial inquiry to onsite help!

These guys were prompt, respectful and kind to Our aging parents as we moved them. Great Job and quick too!

I would not recommend them to even move a dog house they damaged several pieces of furniture plus they sent a crew that not how to move a sleep number bed despite being asked ahead of time to make sure the crew knew how to do this. They did get the repairs done on the furniture.

Very helpful Guys. I cannot remember their names now but the two young men who helped me move were absolute stars. Very careful with my furniture and they made themselves available for an extra hour. The company in general has excellent service and I will always turn to them first. I was able to schedule a same day move, try that anywhere else!

We hired Cross Town Movers after talking with a few other companies in the valley. I spoke with the manager who was able to give me a quote over the phone and schedule me for the day I needed without issue. I had to reschedule once and there was no issue. I can tell you his pricing was better than everyone else's and he was much more accurate at estimating time needed then any other company I spoke with.

I met with the team of movers at our storage unit and they were there and ready to work before I got there. I showed them the three storage units we had and was told it wouldn't take long. They even turned in my keys with the storage unit so I wouldn't have to stay while they loaded everything. It took them an hour and a half to load everything, which was absolutely incredible.

They met me at the new house, did a quick walk through and started to unload. They even helped us to unload the POD we had in the driveway. These guys were awesome! Professional, helpful, and willing to do whatever needed to ensure our experience with Cross Town was top notch. The overall move took only 4 hours, which was less than was bid. The bill was exactly what I expected, no hidden costs, and the team was beyond my expectations. I cannot thank Evan, Elliott, Paul, Zac and Andrew enough!

My experience today with Elliot and Paul was excellent! They arrived on time, professional with great attitudes. They moved items from my two story house and garage to my storage unit with great ease. I highly recommend Cross Town Movers! I will hire this company to load my U-haul in the next few months!

I used these movers to help me load a truck for a one-way drive. They arrived on time and began loading. They worked steadily and tied things down along the way. They were courteous and efficient. Booking the movers was simple. There were no travel fees associated with my location, so the cost was just the time the movers spent loading for me. The only thing that I would have liked is if they had sent me an email confirmation of my time slot reservation.

There are so many things to remember when you are moving and without a written confirmation I was a little worried something could go wrong. Nothing did, so that's great, but I did call them back several to double check for my own peace of mind. All in all, it was a positive experience.

The company quoted me an hourly rate along with no travel time costs. When I reviewed the bill, the rate was much higher and there was a travel fee. I paid the bill because moving is hard work and I didn't want to create a conflict with the movers. Additionally, I gave both of the movers a very generous tip. AGAIN - it's hard work! And really.the final bill was within my budget.

I just felt that this wasn't right. Later I called the company and reviewed my notes with the manager who politely insisted that the rates (hourly and travel costs) on the bill were correct. What else would he say? I told him that I wasn't asking for a refund and complemented the movers. Julie, the owner took my order and I asked if she would call me back. Julie promptly called me back.

She was very nice.what else would you do when you have the upper hand! She also insisted that her hand written notes reflected the pricing on the bill. I informed her again that I wasn't asking for a refund. I was calling because of the inconsistencies between my notes and the final bill. I reminded her of the detailed conversation we had about pricing, and after her quote which consisted of an hourly weekday rate, estimated hours to complete the move (truck with two man crew included),a nd no travel costs, I choose her company. Additionally, we reviewed several dates before booking the appointment.

She recalled all of the conversation with the exception of the pricing scheme reflected in the final bill. LESSON LEARNED - "Again"!: Moving companies are notorious for "switch and bait". Julie would not had needed to take notes if her pricing (hourly rate and travel costs) were standard business practices. Get a quote up-front that includes an hourly rate, estimated hours to complete the job and any ancillary costs. Now, don't be fooled!

There are many variables in moving, and seldom does it all pan out where the final bill reflects the estimate. But these companies are pros in the business and should not leave you with mixed emotions - Glad that your stuff is moved and Gouged!

We used Crosstown Movers on Saturday, February 16th to move my mother. While she was only moving a short distance and we had already moved much of the "small stuff", Justin and Eric were AMAZING! They were extra careful with the antique pieces she had. She was moving into a home which had just been painted and had new carpet laid, and they used runners to protect the carpet (no extra charge).

They arrived on time, and were both friendly and professional. Pricing was quoted at an hourly rate with reasonable time allowed for their travel. Justin and Eric did not mess around to increase moving time and the cost of the job. This was the second move for my mother in six months, the last move we used another company (AMS), and the cost was twice as much, and service was not good. Items were broken, and when we spoke with the owner, nothing was done.

During this move, we realized that the last moving company had also somehow ripped the bottom of the mattress. They wrapped everything and pretty much charged for each little thing they did. Many pieces of furniture was wrapped with plastic wrap (we did not ask for it), and then we were charged for it! Crosstown Movers is the way to go! Thank you!

Had another crew come out and help us empty our 24' trailer. I had asked Chris to call me if the young men could come early, and they made it about 4 hours before their scheduled time which worked out wonderfully for us. Nick and Saxon work steadily even though they had just finished another tiring job in the heat of the morning. This is the second time we have used this company. I would highly recommend them. The people in the office are nice and the crews that come out are hard working and trustworthy.

Cross Town Movers employees Daniel B. and Tommy did a great job with my move. They moved a three bedroom apartment-sized load across town and expertly placed and assembled everything in about three hours. They were friendly, fast, and didn't scratch or dink a single item. The pricing was transparent and very reasonable. The dispatcher was also great and gave me updates and made sure the crew arrived right on time. I've done multiple moves and have experience with a whole spectrum of moving companies, from bad to good. I give Cross Town Movers my highest rating.

The Crosstown Mover guys - Jake, Braden, & Brandon T. - just helped move the majority of heavy furniture out of my place into storage. Woohoo! Someone quick - leap for joy! They were very professional, highly accommodating to my specific requests, and above all just provided wholesome quality and efficient service! They deserve more that 5 stars! I liked them so much that I've hired them back for the remainder of my furniture, etc.and will definitely be using them to help move me into my new place. Great job guys! Way to secure a loyal customer!

From start to finish, my experience with Cross Town Movers was awesome. The gentleman I spoke with when I called for a quote was super polite, helpful, and efficient. And the price he quoted was the best in town! When he called two days before the move date to confirm the date and time, he was just as polite. The day of the move, the two movers arrived right on time and were incredibly friendly and efficient.

They moved our four-bedroom house in record time. I was, and remain, impressed and grateful for the excellent service and efficiency. And my husband was excited that one of the movers not only knew what The Venture Brothers was, but loved it almost as much as he does. : I would recommend them to anyone.

I chose Cross Town Movers because they are a truly local company and they had great rates and a low minimum number of hours. The movers were prompt, friendly, and worked with a sense of urgency. We had our entire house moved in 3.5 hours. The only two points of feedback I have are: tell customers ahead of time that you don't disconnect/reconnect washers and dryers, and tell us where you put all the lightbulbs so we can use our lamps that first night in the new house.
