Services
MovingLabor.com is a nationwide do-it-yourself moving labor company that has been providing professional, reliable and affordable moving labor help since 2004. Moving labor is a segment of the moving industry that provides professional movers without the truck for a range of labor only moving services.
Preparing for an upcoming do-it-yourself move but not sure what services you will need? We've created helpful guides for common moving scenarios to help you plan and execute your DIY move. Select one of the options below to learn how hiring moving labor help can make your moving situation easier.
A local move is considered a move within the same city or metropolitan area where the origin and destination are within 50 miles of each other. Of the 40 million moves that occur each year nearly 30 million are local moves. Completing a local do-it-yourself move is becoming more common as the overall cost to move is significantly less than hiring a traditional moving company.
A long distance move is considered as a move more than 50 miles from your current home, many times to a different state. As the moving industry continues to evolve it will consistently become easier and more affordable to relocate long distances. With so many options available to you it can become overwhelming, but it is important to remember that our moving labor services are flexible and tailored to your needs.

Kayla and Christina are very unprofessional and don't care about there movers. They make there own decisions and think they are superior to everyone. They take money from the moving providers but don't look into any issues or obstacles that can happen. For example we have certificate of insurance which they don't have. We provide that for free and if we didn't have that customers can't move cause the building asks for those things.

Even if it's a unload. But Kayla thinking she's miss know it all doesn't look into anything I would NOT recommend this site or the people that work there. Stick to other moving sites! I also shouldn't have my account inactive when I never declined a job. And I know your policy and agreements. I also see other bad reviews that also shows your a company that doesn't care about your providers.

We are the ones giving you money and making your site look good! What do u do for us u deactivate peoples account and not look into it. I've had customers already call u and tell us not to deactivate and u still did. I do not want a comment back because it's more then likely Kayla and Christina. I don't need your business and you charging customers and putting it in us to tell them makes you also unprofessional!

The worst move I've ever had. One hour late.past the one hour "grace" period. Provided blankets.were not used. brought a young relative or friend with no experience who dragged my furniture. Movinglabor told me.my problem.contact mover which is illegal. They are the liaison. I have moved a few times before.not my first day in the the sandbox. Horrified, disgusted.contacted BBB. Pay the extra $100 bucks.this is a sham!

They are the worse company ever. I hired to have my love done on New Year's Day. I had paid a deposit and they never showed up, I never heard from them after they tried to schedule me for an evening appointment on the day of. They left me hanging and I had to move quickly into finding other movers. It was a nightmare and a HUGE SCAM!

DO NOT HIRE! Literally the worst experience. I've waited to see if this company would fulfill the obligation to make it right, but they never did. After being nearly 2 hours late, below is a list of things they left me with broken or damaged: 1. Sliding doors at the storage facility. Thankfully the storage facility knew they acted on their own pulling the automatic sliding doors, leaving them damaged and having to be professionally repaired. 2.

Completely broke in pieces a solid wood bed, my bed actually. 3. 5.5' industrial book shelves broken 4. Damaged dining room table top. Chipped a chuck out of the wood. 5. Somehow they broke the keypad panel to my 2 year old Samsung washing machine. 6. Broke all Pyrex and bakeware packed well in bubble wrap inside boxes. 7. Broke almost all my plates and glasses.

As you can see, I have a two - three thousand dollars in damage at their hands. They knew all this on the day before they left, agreed to make some sort of compensation. That was weeks ago and I've never heard from them again. DO NOT HIRE!

We hired labor only movers from Movinglabor.com. They set us up with a great crew and great rates. It's a Marketplace so I ultimately picked the movers but Movinglabor.com made it real easy and they actually do offer Customer Support if you need some recommendations or have questions. I booked everything online, they sent me a confirmation email with the contact number to the movers.

The day of the move I was contacted by the movers when they were on the way. Shay, Ray and Charles were fantastic. Very careful with my items and knowledgeable The day after the move I was sent a review form to rate the actual movers which I did. I had a great experience. Very nice website, easy to understand, the customer support and information provided was spot on.

SCAM. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Long story short- Showed up late with a pickup truck! What moving company shows with a pickup truck? I gave him a list way before the move and so he knew ahead of time my furniture would not fit in a bed of a truck. He said I would have to rent a truck so then that added ove $200 more to my quote.

He went to get a Uhaul and was gone for 2 hours. The move took HOURS because he also had no tools. I had to give him a small screwdriver that I had. So unprofessional. He also would not let me through paypal or any app that backs customers. Definitely fishy. This company is on groupon and definitely scams you into needing to pay more so do not use this company!

I was extremely impressed when I used Moving Labor. I have had several horror stories when using moving companies, but the reviews with ML made me give them a try. The professionalism, care, and efficiency from start to finish did not go unnoticed. There were some items I didn't have the chance to packing and the movers helped me! I'm so grateful I found this company. I will be a loyal customer for my future moves.

I recently used this company for the second time and I was so impressed with how they handled everything. They made my move as easy as it could be and I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked me for a reputable moving company. You will not go wrong if you choose this company for your moving needs.

I scheduled movers using Elite Moving Labor for my move from Riverside, CA to Henderson, NV. Both sets of movers were professional, hard-working, and pleasant to do business with. They brought tools which was great and the unloaders even set my furniture up for me. The pricing was very good and booking was easy. I also saved money on my Penske truck rental which was nice. I would definitely use them again and have recommended them to friends and family already.

This is the first time we decided to have someone pack us up and load our things into a van. Unfortunately, it was a poor experience and we had to unload and reload the truck plus finish packing our apartment. I do not put that totally on Elite Moving but how it was handled was disappointing. At first, they were very pro-active and even called to have a conversation around what happened.

We both agreed this should be fixed and then things went dark. They then sent an automated email out saying I need to work directly with the moving company they booked and that was again something we had already discussed in detail over the phone. As a third party vendor, it's important to pick the right vendors and right any wrongs. We felt on the front of this move.that was very poor. The team that moved us in was great and no complaints there. Would not use a third party like this again though.

Instead of calling to get the best rate from local movers, I used Elite Moving Labor. They promised three experienced movers. I thought this would be better than getting college students from a local place. I got two professional movers, the most experienced had three years. I also got a high school graduate working til college started. This was his first job.

I would take the time to call local moving companies because the "experience they guarantee" is not guaranteed. Elite also told me it would take 3-4 hours and it took nine hours for a three bedroom house. Do NOT believe their estimates.
