Movers & Groovers

After calling several places, Movers & Grovers had the best prices all around town. I moved from downtown Charleston to West Ashley. Two guys were necessary to move all of my furniture. They came on time, worked quickly, and did not damage any of my furniture nor any of the walls at either house. One of the gentlemen named Herb did a fantastic job.

He honestly could have moved the whole house by himself had I been on the first floor of the apartment. I was very impressed with their service and l will definitely be using them again!

Great experience! I must say I was truly nervous due to some of the online reviews. I took a chance on this company and I was not disappointed. They stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. Ronnie was very helpful and so was the two men who delivered the furniture. Thank you Movers & Groovers for delivering my furniture in good condition. I will most certainly use this company again.

We got screwed! We hired a 2-man crew from Movers and Groovers (aka Moving Pros) to help us move 12 pieces of furniture and some boxes in our t/h which had two sets of stairs. We booked them almost two weeks ahead! Around noon on moving day, we received a call from Ronnie confirming our appointment at 3pm. Then got a text at 2:45pm from the owner that the movers are almost done with another job and would be there soon.

We made several attempts to contact them while we were patiently waiting. They finally responded by text at 5:45pm (3 hrs later) saying they'd have to reschedule for first thing in the morning. Since we didn't really have a choice at this point, we agreed. We rented our uhaul for another day and packed truck with whatever we could handle ourselves.

Come Sunday morning.no one showed up. AGAIN! We called and texted all morning and never got a response! Still to this day, no word! Bottom line, they NO-SHOWED and did not return any calls! We got screwed! So messed up and down right RUDE! Don't hire a them! Go with a more reputable company who will get the job done!

Movers and Groovers/ Moving Pros.neither of which name they choose is indicative of their ability. They agreed to reimburse us for damages, but have not received the credit nor will they return messages or phone calls. They were 2.5 hrs late for pick up and 3 hrs late for delivery. Damages were rampant and they even lost some goods or stole them. Sincerely would be very careful with using and/or trusting these people.

DO NOT USE! This company did not complete the move for the agreed price, damaged walls, floors, trim and furniture, and left a very large portion of the house unpacked. This pretty much sums up everything you aren't looking for in a moving company. It's sad actually because they moved us in the past and it was actually good. Not sure why the quality has gone so downhill. I have many more pictures of damage if anyone needs them.

I highly recommend Movers & Groovers services. We needed just a few things moved from Columbia to our new home in Charleston. They were extremely easy to work with during the planning/scheduling phase, and equally accommodating during the move. Our main concern was a piano that we needed moved to the second floor of our new home. The guys handled all of our stuff with care, and we're able to get our piano upstairs without injury to themselves or the piano. All of this for what I considered to be a very reasonable price, and the utmost in professionalism.

Best movers that we've ever used! Dexter, Joe and Marcus were polite, patient, conscientious, very strong, and fast yet careful. They moved several very heavy bulky items up a narrow winding stairwell without a single mark on the walls or furniture. They let us know ahead of time exactly when they would arrive for packing and for delivery. Everything was accomplished on schedule as promised. We definitely highly recommend!

I called Movers & Groovers on Tuesday to move me on Saturday morning and they were available to help at such late notice. The move was scheduled at 9 am Saturday and the moving truck was there on time. The total move time was 4 hours which I thought was great! Very professional company and you can tell they take pride in their work. No furniture was damaged during the move. Also very reasonably priced compared to other companies I spoke with. I would definitely recommend them!

I have used many moving companies in the past, but Movers and Groovers are by far the best. Their "COWS Containers on Wheels" kept everything safe and dry. All of the people we dealt with (arranging, loading and unloading) were professional, quick and careful. NOTHING was broken. I've never had that happen, even with big name companies. Thanks guys!

Easy to work with.nothing complicated or multi-part about the cost structure. Have used them twice to date. Great people who take the time to actually care for your belongings. Incredible attitude. We actually requested the same crew for our upcoming round 3 of moving. Moving's seldom fun, but these guys sure make it simple and stress free. Nov 11, 2016: Have now used these guys x3. The crew could not have been more careful and attentive to making sure everything was done just right. The last move was all day and into early evening.long day. They were as positive and upbeat at the end of the day as that morning. I saw a couple of less than flattering reviews. Can say unconditionally that our experiences were nothing but POSITIVE. Would confidently recommend M&G.

Movers and Groovers moved us and they did an incredible job. It was a very stressful time for us and these guys showed up and did an amazing job. They have an employee named Morris who is an incredible mover. They were such a delight and made the whole process less stressful and definitely more enjoyable. Movers and Groovers did a Great Job!

Amazing crew, fast working & Super polite. They made sure we were all set, satisfied and happy before heading out. Very professional. We used Movers and Groovers to move our family of 4 from a 2 story house to another 2 story house. The movers arrived early and they were very courteous and accommodating. All of our furniture arrived just as it left, great condition. The price was great and the movers worked hard until the move was finished. Ronnie and his staff have our business and we definitely recommend.

I just wanted to post a review about my recent move! I had movers and Groovers move me last week. I have to say, it couldn't have gone any better! I have moved in the past by renting a truck and doing it myself with friends(who I had to bribe to help of course). The rate for the 2 guys and the truck was very affordable. The 2 guys(I can't remember their names) were very friendly, and took every precaution to protect my furniture.

They wrapped everything with their blankets. It only took them about 4 hours to move my 3rd floor, 2 bedroom apt. I would highly recommend using Movers and Groovers for your next move.

Great movers! Dex and James worked my move and both were professional, courteous and friendly! They arrived on time and "rolled with the flow" as the job grew in scope and they simply adjusted as required. They worked very deliberately - efficiently and safely while tying down and padding my belongings -- no damage! I will use Movers & Groovers again and I'll request Dex and James if they are available!

Moving is never fun but it doesn't have to be stressful when it comes to actually moving your belongings. We had called and set up movers for our recent move and the morning of, they didn't show up! What a disaster! My neighbor had used a company called Movers and Groovers and said that they had done a great job for them. I called and they were there the next day.

Not only were they on time but Bob and Tommy just took over and handled the loading and placement of the total move. I expected a few guys who could move the heavy stuff but the expertise that they brought was an unexpected treat. They took a lot of stress off of us and we were able to focus on other important aspects of our move. I am calling them back today to have them move us into our new place. They get 5 stars from us! I used Movers and Groovers for my move this weekend, and I was overall satisfied with the experience. They seem to be possibly a little lacking in organization as the actual movers showed up not knowing my apartment number or having a phone # to reach me despite me having received telephone and email confirmation of the move the previous day. Once they arrived (my husband found them in the parking lot and brought them to our place 20 min late), the movers were very courteous and efficient.

They loaded and unloaded all of our belongings without incident or damage. They still finished the job on time and the price was as originally quoted. I would recommend Movers and Groovers for a hassle free move despite the slight hiccup at the beginning.

We highly recommend Movers & Groovers. We were very worried hiring movers for my elderly mother in law because she has some very fragile and expensive china that has been passed down for 3 generations but Movers & Groovers were fantastic. They were on time, very fast, and the crew lead JB was amazing to watch. JB along with his crew were extremely careful and patience.

The quote we received from Matt & Josh was not the least expensive but they were very knowledgeable and seemed more "real" compared to some of the other companies. In all they did what they promised - They took care of our belongings perfectly! Thank you Movers & Groovers!

Love the name, loved the boys that moved me! Great company, they made my move fun and easy. The two men (Travis & Morris) had me laughing the whole time. They were just great. Handled everything with ease. Can't say enough, was great ! The best part is that it cost less then what the estimated.. Thank you !!!!
