Best customer service ever! Matt and his team are super friendly and go out of their way to ensure all your needs are met! Best storage facility in the area! Super clean, easy access, great rates! When I read previous reviews about Matt, thought too good to be true, but they're not! He's as good as everyone claims!

Had a great experience with Matt and RJ. My kid needed a rental space on short notice so handled the whole thing over the phone. Kid moved his stuff with no flack and RJ helped with a lock. Paperwork over the phone was a breeze. Price was consistent with ads.

I have used many storage areas throughout the country for my business. This one is one of the best ones I have used. Clean and very nice facility with all the moving and storage needs that you can think of. Very helpful and friendly staff is also a plus. I highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier using Main Road Storage. I have used their Uhaul services on multiple occasions and Matt & RJ provide consistent outstanding customer service. Even during a small glitch they worked with uhaul & me to make sure I was satisfied and that I had the correct reservation! They are super friendly and really good at their jobs! Matt worked very hard and put in a lot of time with phone calls and assured us he will resolve the issue. You Haul should be very proud of him and employee and make him employee of the month. The Gentleman at Main Road Self Storage definitely know how to take care of their customers. They helped me out in a big way. I had previously made reservations at another U-Haul location in North Charleston that got fubared due to a wrong pick up time entered on my reservation so my truck Got canceled. However the Main Road Facility was able to help mitigate my reservation issues and put me back on my time line to get my move done. I highly recommend this location - they are knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and take pride in their facility. Thank you for taking care of my U-Haul needs.

Their team is very responsive and accommodating. We ordered a piece of furniture and unbeknownst to us, it came assembled and could not be dissembled, so it did not fit into our original storage unit. Their team made same day arrangements to provide us with a unit that met our needs.

Absolutely awful customer services. There were two reps out front jumping a golf cart, didn't even stop to assist us when we arrived. Took their sweet timing coming in to assist. And then we were informed non apologetically that they did not have any of the extras that we booked. They didn't even offer to contact other locations. Mayra/Myra was straight up rude.

Stop here for all your storage needs! My husband and I cannot begin to put into words the magnitude of how helpful and kind Tracy and Ashley were to us. From day one, we felt taken care of with feels of that true southern comfort. We are moving across the country from Chicago with lots of hurdles to tackle with timing and closing on our new house and couldn't have felt more grateful for the world renowned customer service, assistance, and kind smiles at Main Storage. Going above and beyond. Miles away we were able to secure our storage unit at a reasonable rate with no issues. The whole storage facility is clean, secured, and in a great location to town! Go no further and use Main Self Storage - you won't be disappointed!

The worst of the worst. Rented van and unit, came to unload unit and couldn't get into gate. Had to come back driving more to do so. Put 20 bucks of gas in and they still charged me a extra 10 bucks. Gas gauge corrected at check out but not on check in. The biggest shit show. Don't rent or go and get hosed here. Go anywhere but here Have phots but challenged, lol Oh 133 dollars plus 20 in gas for the day.

Why on earth didn't we choose this storage facility and U-Haul dealer in the first place?! Five stars, all the way. Unfortunately, we rented a 5'x8' NON-climate controlled unit for 6 months, from a different storage company on Old Trolly Road in Summerville. At first, their deal sounded great, and the price seemed OK. The initial CSR who set us up told us that we were obligated to buy their $11/month insurance.

Not true. We were not accurately informed or given the choice to waive that fee, and use our valid Renters Insurance policy we already had. They would not credit us the $66. They also made a huge mistake in that they flagged our account as a non-payment, almost resulting in our unit items being auctioned off! Our payments were 100% in good standing.

Even with their military discount, they charged is $69/month. I did some research, and we decided to go with main road storage in Summerville because of the positive experience we had had at the Johns Island store when we needed to rent a trailer. The Summerville location has awesome prices, outstanding customer service, super clean and secure facilities, and more than competent CSR's.

We inquired about a special, and took advantage of that, plus our unit is bigger and climate-controlled and we'll save $20/month! They are an excellent choice for U-Haul rentals as well. Vehicles are well-maintained and clean. Check in and check out processes are a breeze. Main Road Storage on Johns Island is also highly recommend!

This place is hands down the best self-storage facility I have ever used. I've used them for two different units spanning over a year and have had nothing but good experiences with them. Their climate controlled units made moving in and out comfy and never had to worry about exposing any of my belongings to wild temperature swings. The facility is also top notch access control with keypad entry and gates that are easily accessed day or night and well lit.

And lastly, everyone that works there has always been just beyond helpful. Tracy and Ginger are the two folks that I've worked with there and they've helped me out with any request or need I've ever had. Couldn't ask for nicer people.

Cindy and Ginger have good management skills and will go the distance to help the renters.

Would NOT recommend this storage facility. There is an odd "no drive thru" from the indoor to the outdoor units where you can actually get shot if you are too close to the gate. Don't get caught up in this terrible dispute of land purchase! Or give anymore money to this extremely rude MARC WILSON, Owner or Manager. We heard a cat locked up in the unit next to ours crying in the summer heat and they would not do anything about it.

They told us to mind our own business (and just let the poor cat die?) None of the staff are on the same page about anything including payments. I guess now that they are full they are just too busy to use any customer service skills. Booooooo

I've used many storage locations.this was the best experience we have had. Incredibly clean and quiet location. Great customer service. Totally recommend.

Left another storage unit on Dorchester to move in here. Not only are the units clean, well lit, and temperature controlled, I feel it's safe. PS - love the motion censored lights (some places have dials that time out - there's nothing worse than getting into the back of the unit and having the lights go out). A bonus: you can rent get supplies, rent a UHaul or ship out UPS here too.

If you're getting rid of old clothes, there is a clothing drop off right outside the door. Ms Jeannette is as friendly, helpful and professional as you can get! I have already recommended this location to my friends.
