These movers quoted us a price and then raised it after they had already suckered us into accepting their services (with a low quote) AND picked up our stuff. After waiting 2 weeks for our belongings to be delivered we were given a confirmed date and time which we relied on. 24 hrs before delivery, we are informed that our items "did not make it onto the truck".

Their next delivery date would be in another 2 months! Maybe. We were stuck in the mountains with just a few clothes! We could not trust Kid Gloves to come through after this and were forced to hire another moving company to collect our things and perform the delivery - which was done professionally and timely. Of course this ended up costing us $$$'s more. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are an amateur operation and will deliver more headache than service.

Needed 4 strong men to move a heavy hospital bed. They were punctual, professional and successful! I cannot say enough about these men. I've used before and will gladly use again. Super company.

Very rude people! The place is an absolute dump! The woman in charge in the shipping and receiving office is on a power trip and manages quite a few lazy workers Who don't like to load trucks. In my opinion this dump doesn't even deserve one star

Over the years I've had seven moves -- in New York, Washington DC, Ohio, Illinois and New Orleams: none matched the quality of Kid Gloves movers.

What a fantastic company. They were professional and handled my belongings expertly. They were superb with my chandeliers and artwork. I would never use anyone else.

The only reason that they have one star is that there is no option for zero stars. Avoid this scam business at all costs. They took our belongings, charged over $130,000 then refused to return them to our home after repairs were finished. These people are RUDE, HORRIBLE, and actually breached a contract. The office personnel are terrible, and when I had to hire another firm to pick up my belongings (without any assistance or help from this bunch of crooks) my clothes dryer was returned with a den of rats nested in the machine!

These folks are so bad that I have hired legal counsel to file a lawsuit for breach of contract and damages for having to hire another firm. The scratches, dents and damage to our property are significant. They ( in their contract) limit their liability to $250, think about that before you engage this bunch of shysters. Run, don't walk, away from this firm or you will be sorry!

Had the best experience with the crew from Kid Gloves. There service and expertise put me at ease during the delivery. I would strongly recommend them anytime for anything related to pick/delivery of fine lighting or furniture.

We are reporting this business to the BBB due to a fraudulent charge on our card for a moving service never performed. A deposit was made on this customers behalf yet the move was cancelled and NO SERVICE WAS PERFORMED aside from a phone quoted estimate. The deposit charged was in the mid thousands. We are dealing with our credit card company on this one since no one will return our calls at Kid Gloves. I repeat, they have taken our messages but have not returned our calls regarding the matter. BUYER BEWARE.

I used these guys to move some old antiques out of my relative's house to be stored for a bit in their warehouse. Best experience i've ever had with a moving company! I got several calls in advance and very friendly customer service. The people working there seem to genuinely care about the personal needs of you and your items, and even suggested the best materials to pack my items would be! The building itself s a bit out of the way, but overall amazing!

I would not do business with them again. The actual movers were fine and quick although the predetermined delivery date was over a week than what was discussed, both on the phone and during the move. When addressing the delay on the phone, the woman I spoke with was smug and not open to discussion.
