Services
RV wash system with spot free rinse membership fee included in rental rate (Does not include price of wash). Compare our prices per square foot to our competition. Most enclosed self storage facilities rent their enclosed units for almost double our square foot price.* Electricity is to be used to maintain batteries, and to run refrigerator.
Our firm was established to provide a safe and secure place to store all of your precious "toys". We offer large enclosed garages that can accommodate even the largest of luxury motor coaches. Our 50' and 45' enclosed garages have 14' high roll-up doors, and the generous 15' width of these units allows ample room to open up the cargo bays of your motor coach while you are parked.
Does the rent price include electricity for everyone? Most units have electricity. We have units with 110 power, 30 amp, and 50 amp. Electricity can be used to maintain batteries, and keep refrigerator cool. Air conditioners can be used only during loading or unloading your RV or while cleaning your RV.

Impressive is an understatement. We rent storage spaces across the US. None of them have an owner more invested in their business than Sheryl. She runs a top notch business. Sheryl has thought of every detail before you can bother to ask. Every service you're hoping for is included. Yes even an RV wash! IF there is a space available grab it and consider yourself lucky!

Although this place is somewhat expensive, it is fenced and has security. This was lacking at four other locations we checked, which were essentially fields with wide open access to anyone. Insurance on your vehicle is required. There is an RV wash and dump station available. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We've chosen to store our RV here since the City of New Orleans will not let us have it at the house. ToW were open back in early January when we got our space, and we like the fact that they have actual security, instead of being a field with open gates that anyone could access. Several facilities we visited had no security, , the the safety of our coach would. be at risk. ToW has a dump station and an RV wash station which is very convenient.
Our space is only 12' wide. which makes backing a 9' wide coach in somewhat interesting. However, maneuvering room is excellent. My one complaint is that the gate access, where one enters one's code, is difficult to access from a car and impossible to access from a coach. The instructions are on the TOP of the unit and impossible to see from an average car.
This is offset by the fact that if the office is open, they will happily open the gate if you call them and properly identify yourself. Sites are primarily covered concrete. Somewhat expensive, but offering much more than other locations.

In response to Mr. Ed Evick post : When a lease is signed at Toys on Wheels RV storage it states that the rent is due on the first of the month. When that month is paid it is presumed that the client will be occupying the storage spot for the entire month therefore new potential clients are sometimes turned away due to no vacancy. Toys on wheels also has a clause in their lease that would allow their $150.00 deposit to be forfeited if a 10 day vacate notice is not given.
In this case no vacate notice was given at all, which would have entitled Toys on Wheels to keep the deposit. but the full $150.00 refund was given back which was more than the client paid for the whole months rent.

In response to the post from Nicole Espey in which she referred to the owner as being deplorable. I am the owner and i consider her comment about Toys on Wheels RV storage to be unfair. I run a beautiful facility and this was a case of what is called buyers remorse. This was an online auction in which pictures of the items were clear. She bid on the items along with many other people.
A storage auction is always a gamble of the contents. This auction was the only auction that we have ever done in 11 yrs of business. When this person voiced that they were not happy about what they had purchased, i was nice enough to give them back $100.00 which i did not have to do. Most likely no other storage company would have done that. Then after my generosity to them, they come here and make such awful statements about me.
Please do not judge Toys on Wheels or myself from this negative comment. I invite you to come see our facility for yourself. I also invite any of my past or present customers to give a review here.

OK. So, I had found a storage locker in which TOW had put up for auction online. They had posted pictures that portrayed multiple items that might be valuable to the buyer and advertised as "managers special". I sure did get the managers special. Each box that was displayed was filled with worthless clothing and books and nothing that was operational except some old left handed golf clubs.
One of the boxes was an expensive DVR machine "box" in which I found the unit inside their office and the box filled with wonderful clothes. Nice. I'm not one to complain but the owner finally agreed to refund me $100 out of $490 for the locker in which I still had to clean out and throw away "all" contents. I know this is a storage company and they make tons of money from people storing their stuff but trying to falsely advertise an auction to make a couple extra bucks from someone who doesn't have much is just wrong. The integrity portrayed by the owner is deplorable.
