Great Movers

I had the great pleasure of working with the folks at NYC Great Movers for the 3rd time a couple weeks ago and wanted to post about my experience. The move was a short one distance wise, but myself and my family were moving from a 1BR to a 2BR. They were great with their initial quote, time estimate was ultimately accurate. Day of the move, the team was not only moving quickly but was very careful with all belongings. Alex, who was the move supervisor, was great, professional and adaptable. I've used this company twice. The first time was a less than great experience; however, they dealt with the issue incredibly quickly and professionally, and asked that if I ever needed to move again that I give them another chance, and I'm glad I did! They were incredibly responsive, professional, kind, and helpful! All of my items made it to the new place in perfect condition. They are also very reasonably priced, especially compared to other NYC moving companies. I would definitely recommend them!

Great movers were very responsive and communicative. They accommodated multiple changes in scheduling and remained very flexible the entire time. Pricing is very transparent and when there was any question on the items they were very accommodating and never argumentative at all. Danny and team were punctual and handled things very respectfully and were all extremely friendly.

They even went out of their way to take their shoes off as they delivered things to our new home which had a lot of carpeting. At the end of the day they got us moved as efficiently as I think possible. They even let our little boy jump in the moving truck drivers seat which really made his day after all was said and done. Hopefully we aren't moving again anytime soon - but if and when we do, they'll certainly be the first on our list.

Highly recommend them. Pricing is great. I had another mover quoting almost same price (difference of few hundred) but varies with cubic feet. If I had chose another mover they definitely would have billed me same or more with amount of stuff we moved. Esp considering that other mover would have taken up to 20 days while Great movers did in 24 hrs. Arrived on time 8.45 am in Edison NJ area and reached 11 am in Atlanta Georgia. Guys were professional and courteous. Didn't argue about why we have few more loose items. They happily boxed those for us. I was happy how was my sofa was handled

I'm so happy I went with this company after researching prices and reviews for other moving companies. Great movers were super communicative from start to finish with a fair price. Alex and his partner were extremely efficient at packing and moving my things in a timely matter. They were professional and super helpful. They truly went above and beyond for me. I'll definitely be contacting them again for my next move. It was perfect and I will miss them!

We used Great Movers for a move within our elevator bldg. Max was excellent to deal with in arranging the move. Matthew and an assistant confirmed the evening before the move. The morning of the move we got texts which accurately gave us arrival time. Matthew was efficient, cooperative and professional. The time estimate was accurate. They made the move hassle free. There was a $25 charge for the parking meter, which I didn't expect. Other than that all was perfect. Highly recommended.

This was the best experience I've ever had with moving. The team was very easy to work with and professional. I appreciated the sales rep finding me the cheapest option which significantly beat out alternatives. The movers were fast but careful and put our minds at ease during this stressful moving process. My only complaint would be the 5% processing fee on credit cards because withdrawing the cash was not possible and I felt forced into paying more. Still, the total bill was less than it would have been elsewhere. I would certainly recommend this company to friends and use them again if we move back to New York!

Great Movers are totally recommended! The night before Frank one of the guys sent me a message to confirm the time, if I had any concerned always very pleasant. The 3 guys took their time to pack in all the big stuff, no crushes in any of the dressers and the sofa bed. The best moving experience I have had ever. They were very responsible and friendly.
