Moving can be very stressful.however Tacoma Moving and Storage eliminated my anxieties by being professional, on-time and taking great care of all my furniture and keepsakes. Very professional. Went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend this company.

The moving industry is notorious shady and unscrupulous, and Tacoma Moving & Storage is no exception. It appeared to be a reputable company, because it had competent customer service ladies in the office who seemed to know what they were doing. However, we ended up having a truly HORRENDOUS experience with them. The day before we were to move our small office, I called the guy who would be doing the moving (Jason Suder (sp?)) to see if he could come in the afternoon rather than the morning.

He told me that the price would be $257 an hour instead of $157 an hour if they came in the afternoon, so I stuck with the morning appointment. I thought this sounded shady, since the quote was: 4hr minimum at $157/hr (min total of $628) for a Saturday move (M-F prices are $127.70/hr). The customer service ladies told us to call them in the afternoon with the list of things we needed them to move, and we did so.

The day of the move, Jason Suder called me on my cell phone in a rage. He repeatedly called me "liar" and accused me of misrepresenting the amount of stuff he was to move. His other crazy-man statements included: "I'm German, I don't appreciate being lied to" and "I could be at home drinking a six-pack right now, I don't need this shit." He also told my male coworker who was there that you can't trust women because they are liars, and other misogynist statements.

I told him he could leave if he didn't want to do the job. That afternoon, we rented a U-Haul and moved ourselves. It took less than the four hour minimum that Tacoma Moving was going to charge us for. After this incident, I called the company to tell them what happened, and the customer service ladies (Roxane, Charlene, or Susan) told me that they would let the boss know and he would call me back. He never did.
