Movers USA

We moved December 2020 and had our things stored until February 2021 and they did a great job with both moves. Nothing was broken and no walls were scratched and we were moving from a 3 story townhome. They did a great job and although we're hoping to never move again, we would definitely use them again.

1) The crew moves very slowly, takes breaks, and stands around watching each other work, increasing the total time of the move. Then they charge you for the "extra" time that was not part of the original quote. 2) The crew arrives much later than the appointment time. If they do not finish by the time they said they would, they will insist that you pay anyway even though they have not finished.

You then need to argue with their "manager" to negotiate when and how much it will it cost to finish. 3) The crew will refuse to re-assemble some of the furniture and make the customer do it themselves. 4) The crew will claim that they are finished and try to leave quickly while the customer examines the house. I discovered significant damage to my walls and ceilings, as well as furniture that was not re-assembled (they faked it by laying pieces on top of each other but not actually connecting them).

They also damaged furniture by drilling holes in it where they did not belong. I ran out to catch them and they insisted that they were not going to do any more work and I needed to pay anyway. 5) The crew does not wear facemasks appropriately to protect from covid. 6) To fix the damage they caused, their "manager" will send an unlicensed repair person who does his best, but takes 4-5 multi-hour appointments during which the customer needs to take off of work to be home and ensure the job is done correctly.

They do not compensate the customer for their time. 7) The crew will leave trash all over your home. They also urinated on my floor. 8) For all of these issues, the "manager" accused me of being at fault because I chose not to purchase their insurance.

If there was a ten star rating. NO ridiculous pricing, very reasonable. This company deserves it. Alberto S. & his team were great. We moved the weekend after Thanksgiving 2020, the crew showed up on time, called prior to arrival to let us know they were on their way. When thy arrived, ( with masks, the supervisor Alberto S approached me introduced himself, quickly asset what we had, listened to the instructions/concerns I had regarding furniture size to fit in my new house & went to work.

This team was on the ball. Packing the truck they made sure everything was secured, wrapped furniture to protect it etc. They packed the truck non-stop in 2 hours, not a scratch, bumped wall, nothing. A neighbor saw their efficiency & asked me for their number because they were moving in a few weeks.(since then my neighbor has called us to thank us because they said this company was great).

When to arrived at the new house, I was worried about certain furniture fitting into the awkwardly shaped doorways and if they could get it thru, the furniture would definitely be damaged. NOT! These men knew how to twist, turn, maneuver this furniture to get it thru the entrance ways without a scratch. Honestly, it was like magic. Me & my spouse were actually clapping after they got certain items in.

A few times I redirected where I wanted certain furniture that I labeled & these men did it with no complaints or frustration. Organizing this move had been stressful enough & prior to the MOVER USA, a nightmare. I had to admit to the team, this was the only part of my move that went smoothly & successfully. We were very, very pleased & tip the team accordingly. Just referred this company to another friend who's moving in Fe. 2021

My husband and I recently moved cross country from Maryland to Texas, and Movers USA was excellent. If you're feeling indecisive about movers, stop looking and just choose them. It was important to me that I felt like I could trust the company and that they'd treat our items with care, and I could tell from the first call with Gil that this was a company I could trust.

The pricing was on par with other companies I spoke with, but the service was much more personalized and straightforward. Eduardo and Angel were our main leads, and they did a great job! We opted for a full service packing, which meant 7 workers in our 1.5 bedroom apartment for a quick 3 hour packing/moving day. They packed with efficiency and precision - I was particularly impressed by the leader's diligence in asking me questions about specific items to make sure they packed and labeled them the way we wanted.

Not only did they deliver early in the 15 day timeframe they projected, but the driver called me when he was on the way to personally let me know what time he'd arrive and discuss logistics about accessing the neighborhood. He and his two colleagues were courteous and thorough as they removed items from the truck, calling out box numbers so I could check them off the inventory.

Not all boxes were accurately labeled, and we had some confusion with certain items on the list, but at the end of the day everything was there and accounted for (and the driver INSISTED that I do one final walkthrough to make sure all boxes were in the right location! So nice!). The real joy came when I finished unpacking and found that absolutely NO ITEMS had been broken on the journey.

With the exception of a cheap ikea bookshelf that is slightly wobblier than it was before, all of our items arrived in perfect condition -- even the items I was most concerned about! Thank you, Movers USA! Highly recommend this company.

Scheduled my second move with Movers USA. All information was provided quickly, thorough follow up and reminders. Crew arrived on time, worked quickly, did a great job wrapping furniture. Great communication. Great crew.

I used these guys for a recent move from DC to Detroit - full service, where they did the packing and loading in addition to moving and unloading. I really don't think I could have asked for a better experience. Ray (operations manager) was extremely responsive in advance of the move, and everyone showed up when they said they were going to. I will definitely use these guys again if the opportunity arises.

I discovered Movers USA through Home Advisor and out of five companies that were referred this company had the WORST customer service! I originally received numerous emails to give them a call and once we did lock in a quote our emails and phone calls were ignored by Gil the manager. Once I sent him an email stating I would leave a review of their untimely response and customer service he finally responded. It's certainly not an issue if a company is booked but being unresponsive to customer needs are unacceptable.

So I decided perhaps I won't leave a review and just go with someone else. WELL GILL decides to get really defensive, argumentative, and disrespectful when my Husband decided to do a few more calls to see which companies were available once we had a firm move date. It is disgusting to think paying customers have to deal with unprofessional and argumentative people so I felt an obligation to the public and future customers to post a review. I will also leave a review on Home Advisor because there are plenty of other moving companies that take pride in their customer base.

I relocate my house from Glen Burnie to Towson last week. 3 bedrooms. This guys are doing a great job. First of all - service and price. Then fast and accurate. Really recommended if you need a moving company. Thanks Movers USA

We loved Movers USA! They just moved us from Maryland to Massachusetts. We used them to pack, to store our items for about six months, and then bring them to us in MA. They worked around a snowstorm, which was fabulous, and then carefully and quickly got us all unpacked and set up. Ray, our rep, made things very easy for us and the crew was terrific. Great communication all around, great service. No doubt we will use them again!

This is the second time we used Movers USA. They are extremely organized and efficient. We have had many moves over the years and this mover is great. We would not hesitate to use them again. Good movers are difficult to find!

Hired movers USA for a move in Maryland and I am very happy with the service provided by this company. The first contact with the company was done online, they contacted me quickly with a quote and reservation was done same day. Price was very reasonable compared to others. The movers were polite, knowledgeable and professional, they showed up 5 minutes early and started to work right away. The truck they used was one of the cleanest trucks I have seen and very pretty on the outside. Overall it was an outstanding service. Movers USA rock.

Movers USA did a spectacular job from the moment they arrived at my home. They were fast, organized and prepared for any and all hiccups. I especially appreciated that they brought extra boxes, etc. when I realized I still had to pack lamps! I used Movers USA for a local move and I will never use another moving company ever again! They were so patient with me and so helpful in answering all of my questions. They weren't the cheapest but I actually ended up paying LESS than they quoted me! I was shocked. I've only ever heard horror stories about moving companies but these guys are a dream come true!

They made everything easier on me and made me feel really comfortable. The team was AWESOME! They were clearly experts and worked so hard and did a great job. I've never had a move go so smooth or so fast! Thanks, Movers USA for the best move I've ever had.

I didn't use them but just spoke to the guy in sales. He said that they couldn't really accommodate what I needed because it wouldn't be worth it for me money wise. Really like an honest person and would use them in the future.

I needed a mover in Bethesda, to move me from my townhouse to a single family home. Due to my work schedule, I had to have it done over the weekend. I called Movers USA, from the first call their representative sounded very professional and without wasting any time schedule a visual estimator to come to my home. Due to the short notice they were able to come in two days, I was so pleased with the way he presented and explained everything, so I decided to move with them. The move was smooth, everything was exactly as expected, I would highly recommend to use their services for anyone who is looking for a professional, honest movers.

Last month one of my family members passed away (god rest his soul) and left estate in Maryland for several of my family members including myself. I used Movers USA to move these items from 1 pickup location to several delivery stops in NJ and NY to various family members of mine. It was a very complicated move but Movers USA did an amazing job organizing the move and answering all of my many questions.

The movers were all hardworking and efficient, kindly moving all items around the home until we would figure out exactly where we wanted the extra furniture and antiques. Everything came in great condition, no damages at all and more important than that everything arrived to the correct home to all of my family members satisfaction. It is not an easy thing to please a large Egyptian family particularly during a difficult time like this, but Movers USA did. I'm very satisfied I took the recommendation of a trusted friend and used them. You will not be disappointed if you move with Movers USA!

I never appreciated how spectacular Movers USA was until I had a really terrible moving experience with another company. I have used these guys a handful of times in the past and have never had a complaint about them. They are very fast, very reliable and are priced fairly. The guys have such a great work ethic and don't take breaks or complain.

They are just great movers. They may cost slightly more than competitors, but take it from me and don't learn the hard way - you get what you pay for. I highly recommend these guys.

Never, ever hire these people. I had a miserable moving day. I booked them for 1:30pm, they showed up at 7:45am. I wasn't ready to move yet. I ended up being forced to move at 11am or lose my movers. Of the three movers, one is the leader (and only speaker of English). He enjoys spending time on his cell phone talking and letting the others do all the heavy lifting while you are paying for his time.

As the other reviewer noted, once they bring your stuff to your new place, they make you pay them 100s of dollars more than the quoted price, in order to unload the truck. They claim that they'll give you a refund if it ends up being less. I didn't believe this, so argued for half an hour with their boss on the phone. I ended up being able to pay less, but they charged me to argue on the phone while the workers did nothing. Additionally, they also made me sign a waiver that I'd inspected everything and nothing was damaged BEFORE they would unload my stuff.

When I said that was ridiculous, the head guy raised his voice at me saying that I was prevented his men from working. I eventually wrote in that I had not seen anything yet, and signed it. These people are horrible in every way. Don't do business with them.
