Our crews are well-trained in how to wrap furniture, pack boxes, move furniture, load trucks, load storage units and, most importantly, how to conduct themselves in a professional manner. We are a family run business that is based in Arlington, MA that has been servicing the Greater Boston area since 2003.

Greg started the company after graduating college and wanting to provide a better solution for people who didn't need a larger moving company. We just finished our 5th move with Mini Movers. This is a GREAT business with consistent high quality service. Communication was excellent and estimate was right on target. The owner, Greg, sets the tone for how well coordinated a move using this company will be. He is friendly, responsive and accommodating. The movers are very professional, experienced and efficient. I just had my 4th small move with this company and would never use anyone else.

With short notice due to complicated circumstances, I filled out an online form asking if they could help me move within a few days time. I tried to be as transparent as possible for their planning and took a picture of what I had to move. In less than a day I got a response and I was told there was a flat fee of $195 for the vehicle, $25 minimum for fuel charge, and $189 an hour for 3 people to help me move.
I told them I didn't have too much stuff and I thought they could probably get it done in an hour, understanding it would be an additional $189 if it was over an hour. They ran a $50 deposit for the scheduled move and gave me a call the day prior to the move to remind me. Patrick gave me a call when they were on their way the day of the move and it was exactly when I was previously told that they would arrive.
They were all super polite, professional, and hardworking. Carrying 3 boxes at once at times, which blew my mind. They got everything done in less than an hour (including the drive in between places) and nothing was broken or damaged. They were very communicative making sure that they were putting everything in the right spot. I did grab fragile things to put in my car so that they wouldn't have to worry about breaking anything like that though.
I tried to lend a hand to them, but they really didn't need my help and I was so relieved to not have the stress and extreme workout I normally have while moving. They made everything so easy and pleasant. I tipped them each $20 (which I think is okay for the rate/time of the job) and thanked them for their help. Would recommend and use their help again in the future.
The total cost charged for my move which is the belongings of a single person renting a room with a decent amount of stuff, though nothing too heavy, was $409 ($50 of which was previously charged as deposit).

Mini moves went above and beyond to accommodate a very large, complicated move of my mother's home. Throughout the multiple moving days, each different crew worked tirelessly, professionally and efficiently despite the size of the undertaking before them. Could not recommend the company enough, their commitment to quality and very fairly priced service was demonstrated day in and day out.

Very bad experience. I talked to them on phone for like 30 minutes to get an estimate for my small local move they confirmed a rate of $405. After the moving was done it became $600 and they claimed I "misunderstood" what they said. I had literally a few suitcases and a TV to move and I made it very clear to them while booking, but they sent 3 guys where one or two persons would be more than enough and I had to pay for 3 people which I never asked for. You can get way better rates elsewhere. Service was good but nothing extraordinary, absolutely not worth the money.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Hired this company to move in a new washing machine and they damage my new closet door and then never came back to fix it or offer a partial refund. We tried to call the company back and they said they would send out their handyman but they never did. Just got the run around.

Would highly recommend this company! The movers worked efficiently but carefully. Very happy with their job moving me out, and they were great at listening to where to place everything when moving into the new apartment. Owner is very responsive and helpful, he worked with my schedule to make sure I could get the movers when I needed. Hiring them was well worth it and saved me a lot of stress.

Great attitude from owner and staff. Creative thinkers. We needed to swap 2 fat sofas and a large heavy dining room table between 2 rooms in a 1920s house with narrow inner doorways. They got the job done without complaints and in 1 hour. Well worth paying their travel time too. We will hire them again.

Mini Moves did an in-town move for us in Belmont on 7/31/14. They were phenomenal! Greg came out to our house a month before to give us an estimate. He was professional and very pleasant. They checked in with us the day before the move to confirm. On the day of the move, they came on time and very prepared with 6 men and 3 trucks. Ryan, who was in charge, was organized and efficient and directed everything seamlessly.
The other men were Steve, Dave, Dwayne, Owen, and James - all great, professional, and polite. We were out of our old home quickly and into the new one quickly as well. They wrapped all the furniture and electronics, and nothing was damaged or broken. The final price was over $1,000 less than the closest bid. I highly recommend them!
