The men were very professional compared to the men from the company Two Men and a Truck. The sales representative or the person who initiates the free quote and gets all this set up is very quick to respond, I worked with Travis. Finally at the end of the move, only one piece from something was missing and customer service handled it very well! We had no damage to anything.

If we could give negative stars, we would. It was a horrible experience and we feel completely ripped off. Not only were the movers not able to actually move any of the "heavy" things, they complained about having to do it the entire time. They made it very known they were frustrated when they realized they actually had to put some work in, and actually were resisting to help carry things by the end of their shift because they were "sore." We ended up doing about just as much work as they did, yet they still complained about how much work they had to do.
The cherry on top, after about 2 hours of doing a horrible job and getting nothing done, they decided that they needed a break and decided to get lunch. Was supposed to be a 2 hour job, but they took 4 hours, not including the lunch break; and this was with help from about 3 other people (that were not movers!). Wouldn't be surprised if they were purposely going slow just to charge us more.
We had everything organized, pre-packed, and ready for them to move, yet they still could not get the job done efficiently and STILL complained about having to actually work. DO NOT HIRE FROM THIS COMPANY!

The movers left several things that were supposed to be moved. My husband and I had to leave for our house closing before they were done so before we left we went over with the guys (for a third time) what was supposed to go. It wasn't until the next day after they unloaded that we realized several items were missing, including a large custom made child's train table that belonged to our 5 year old son. My husband emailed them several days ago, but hasn't recieved a response. An apology would be nice if nothing else.

Was scheduled for a piano move between 12-4 on a Tuesday. After calling 3 or 4 times throughout the day for updates I was finally told at 4:00 that they wouldn't make it that day. This is after I was promised at noon that they absolutely would get there before the end of the day. I rescheduled for Friday, only to be told on Friday morning when I CALLED THEM 20 minutes after they were supposed to arrive that they were understaffed and couldn't make it. I can understand staffing issues, but am incredibly frustrated by the total lack of communication and false promises.

Initially I thought everything that was loaded on the moving truck made it to my new location but I found out after unpacking that one very important box did not surface. I meticulously organized everything for the move so I am positive that this was not my mistake. I am very disappointed as these items cannot be replaced and the employees at Mordue could have cared less.
I called and spoke to a lady in the Peoria office and she said it was my fault that I didn't look through all of my boxes sooner. She said she would talk to the movers and return my call, which she did not. I called two weeks later to be greeted by a woman stating she was the manager and she shouldn't have been answering the phone that day. I explained situation and she said there was nothing she could do for me.
I then reached out to the individual who helped facilitate my move and was told that no one had found the box or turned it in. Don't make the mistake I did in trusting this company.

I used Mordue for a move across town. Patrick and Lamont did a great job. They worked very hard in the almost 100 degree heat. Both were very professional and polite. Nothing was damaged and everything was placed where I wanted. We went from a 3rd floor apartment to a house. They wasted no time and packed breakables carefully. They assured me they would do a good job and they did. I would use Mordue again.

Moved from Germantown Hills to PA. Poor communication, delays, lost item, no show help. In all fairness, they farmed out the job to Bekins. Took more than a week to get our stuff.we were first in, last out.of course. We had a lot of stuff put in our garage until we were ready for it.sure enough a queen size mattress was missing, but was confirmed as having been loaded.
We assumed it was delivered after a very lengthy day of unpacking. Signed off with the driver only to find out weeks later the mattress was missing. Hard to lose a queen mattress. My guess.another customer has an extra mattress. Filed a claim and it was denied. No call about it.just a letter.a cold denial letter. Never again! Ps.there were good people involved, so I can't fault everyone. Just ticked at the main office!

Worst moving company I have ever dealt with. I was told by the sales rep that my furniture could be moved (to my new house 2 miles away) in four hours by two men for a set price. No boxes, just furniture. The day of move the men showed up late, did not put runners down to protect carpet (which was stained by their dirty shoes) and one man was constantly on his cell phone complaining about his job.
In two hours they had moved NOTHING and the truck was only 1/4 full. I called the office to complain and was treated very rudely by the owner's son. He said the move was taking longer than expected and I was now being charged another $500! Pay or don't get moved. When furniture was finally delivered to my new home my coffee and end table had large scratches on them and my leather chair had a small tear. Of course they claimed they didn't do it.

Mordue Movers are ok. They don't do any if the things the bigger movers do, meaning they won't call you quickly, check in before or after the move to see how things went or any thing like that. It took them numerous times to return my call and get a quote which I didn't appreciate but the account exec I finally worked with was a sweet guy just overworked. The movers were nice and did what I asked and worked really hard. I worked with them pre-Covid so have no idea how they're doing.

Never again. I used this place for storage and paid up for 3 months. I go back to place more things in my "locked" unit and discover my unit has been broken into. Everything was gone I had 8 boxes in there that were labeled from books to underwear. Dirty thieves even stole my box of underwear. I report my items stolen and was told by management that they are not responsible and I inquired about the "surveillance" and they admitted that their surveillance was not working because they were in the process of getting new equipment.
So you admit that these units were not secure? So basically I lost some items that were sentimental in that unit. It sounds like an inside job to me.so beware using this place /c if anyone will steal a box of labeled "underwear" who knows what else could happen.smh

Fantastic service! The young guys who work for Mordue are polite, clean cut, fast, protect your floors and are careful with your items. I had two different crews as the move out and move in was a month apart and both times they did a great job. (To the person who left a review complaining that he had to pay the driver, yes, that's in the agreement.) I felt I got a good deal for the price.
