Westchester Moving & Delivery

I called them to see if they could send my estimate again to social services and the guy was so nasty to me, why? Is this how they do business? I have a voice and I'm tired of people being nasty he was wrong.

These guys are unbelievable. Moved a 1 bedroom apartment from Northern Westchester to NYC with no issues. Efficient, hard working, personal, and professional. If I need any moving service in the future these guys will be one the one I call. G

My main complaint as I've read from some of the other reviews too, is that the quoted price is not accurate. Expect to pay 50% more at the end of your day. For example, if you were quoted $800, the move will cost you $1200. That was my experience. Somehow they add on packaging charges even if you pack/wrap your own things and tax.who knows how the math comes out but the quoted price is not the bottom line.

I've moved no less than 7 times over the past few years. This was THE best move I've done. They were transparent with hourly costs/fees up front. The move was done in 30 mins difference than their estimate. It took them 6 hours to move A LOT of stuff (it took movers 10/11 hours to move it into the apartment, but they were able to do it in basically half the time- I was super impressed).

The crew was very attentive with my stuff (they even put on booties to try to keep the floor clean). Overall, really glad I went with these guys. The website is no frills - but i'm not paying for graphic design, I wanted someone to move my stuff from A to B efficiently and that's exactly what they did. I will def use them again if i have to move.

Westchester Moving and Delivery was excellent. The estimate was exactly what we paid, the time estimate was accurate and we were not pressured about extras. The crew came on time, worked quickly and carefully and unloaded the same way. They were extremely professional and polite. Could not have asked for a better experience.

After today, I am so thankful for finding Westchester Moving & Delivery! Paul was able to schedule in time for same day service to help me and my parents! They told me two hours and that's all it took. Eric and Tim arrived and they were very professional and polite. They knew exactly what they were talking about. They also handled our possessions like they cared. We've dealt with another company previously and destroyed our furniture. Erin and Tim are very hard workers and I am very happy with the job they did. Can't thank these guys enough! Highly recommend.

I was promised a call back and it never happened. I'm glad that I got a chance to read these reviews though. I guess it was a blessing in disguise.

Westchester Moving did an excellent job moving piano. Professional and a job well done

Moving can be a nightmare, a bad mover can make it worse and cost. So, I did extensive researches and talked with NYS DOT, and finally select Westchester Moving & Delivery. They are in business over 20 years with stellar record. To my surprise, their price is unbeatable! even cheaper than an unlicensed mover (of course, they claimed they are until I checked with NYS DOT). Paul was very easy to communicate and very responsive, and most important is he is very honest.

The day of the moving, the crew members arrived on time, got everything moved quick and gentle, our agreement is based on the hourly rate! So, we would highly recommend this mover to anyone!

5 Stars for this company. From the beginning the office was professional and honest about pricing! No hidden costs. They were upfront and very helpful. Day of the move, 4 men showed up on time. 7 Hours of hard work on a very hot day in July! They took appropriate breaks - NO BS with these guys! Tim, Eric, Travis and Fashion - you guys are the best. They worked hard and through in a sense of humor too! I highly suggest this company and these guys for your next move. Thanks again!

Overall, the furniture was moved, which was the goal. We had a small apartment to move and they were only moving furniture-no boxes. At one point, two of the three movers were standing around outside texting. I wasn't impressed with the amount of time it took or the cost ($200 more than the estimate because they took so long). Also, they couldn't get some furniture in and I believed them when they said it wasn't possible. My husband got it in there by himself after they left.

Gotta love when the mover hits on your girlfriend. I'm not saying the whole company is bad but the guy moving my friend/neighbor today at 14 nosband in white plains is a scumbag. "Dark guy w.facial hair and a cap on. He said "hi baby" and i said "what?" Then ignored him. Then asks "is that your husband?" so i turned around and said its my bf and i get on elevator and he looked at me as he licked his lips all around like in looney tunes where they picture each other as food.and even after i said i was taken he asked for my number and name and i said no sorry and luckily elevator closed ". Stay away from This creep!

Not a review of moving abilities but one of the drivers almost killed me making an illegal U-turn. I called the number plastered all over the truck and whoever answered the phone could care less. So if you don't care about the safety of society and/or your valuables this is the company for you!

Westchester Moving & Delivery made moving my small business very easy. A representative came out and gave me an estimate the day after I called. He was on time and very transparent about their rates and policies. The moving crew themselves were great. On time, professional and very polite. Team leader Jerimiah was especially committed to making sure everything was just how we wanted it set up before they wrapped up the job. Thanks guys!

Rude driver. Called the company and the guy that answered the phone was pretty bad too, but not so bad as the driver. I mean, I get that you hate your job, but you don't have to be a dick to people.
