I scheduled my move with 2 men for 9 am and reserved the elevators in both buildings for that time. The night before I was informed that my time was changed to 1pm. The movers didn't show up until 2 hours later than the new time the changed my move to. Which caused a lot stress on my end since my cable company was coming at 2pm and the elevators were already booked but luckily my building was able to work with me.
But it doesn't end there. At the end they over charged me because. Although my original request was for two men they sent 3 - I thought they sent 3 because of the 5 hour time change they sprung on me last minute but NOPE when it came time to pay they charged me for three men. I disputed and the workers called someone who I spoke with on the phone, he said " yea you requested two but I sent you three come on I gotta pay my guys' Excuse me I didn't ask for three men and was getting charged even with all the delays and stress?
I didn't pay the full amount he requested but still paid over my quote because " he sent 3 men although I requested two. Very dishonest and not trust worthy when it came to scheduled time. I don't recommend their services!

The movers from WM Movers were amazing. Top notch professionals who arrived early, surveyed all that had to be moved and began work right away. They were respectful and careful with all furniture and belongings, packed/unpacked everything safely and disassembled/assembled everything perfectly. In addition, the guys were courteous, friendly and good-natured. All this for a very reasonable price. Would definitely use them again!

We have moved a few times and used several different companies. Our experience with WM Movers was very organized and stress free. In our prior moves we have had high costs in damaged furniture and appliances. Not with WM Movers, they wrapped our belongings as if it was their own property. Very pleasant staff, on time and efficient. We had such a great experience that we recommended them to several friends for their moves. They also raved about their experience and were very happy they chose WM.

The gentlemen who came and packed were efficient and took excellent care in packing. Not one thing was broken, even very fragile antique crystal glassware. When they came back the next day to move us they were efficient and took care with our furniture and belongings. On the way to our new residence their truck had mechanical trouble and as a result the men had to work far later than they would have.
But they still moved us in with care for our belongings and put boxes in the rooms as marked. To say these guys were fabulous doesn't do them justice. We were so very impressed, so very grateful, and so very pleased with our experience at such a stressful time. We will gladly recommend WM Movers.

I used WM Movers for a small move of (heavy) furniture and they were excellent. I then referred them to a family member for a move of her houseful of items and she also had a great experience with them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I would definitely not recommend using WM Movers. I found them to be very unethical. They gave me two dates/times to move my furniture out of storage. I told them the first, Sat AM, was not good for me so I chose the following Friday. Later that same day (Fri late afternoon the day before) they emailed me that the truck was already loaded and that they would be there the following day at 2:00.
I rushed down to Armonk from a meeting upstate Saturday only87 to have Willie the owner of WM Moving tell me on the phone that he would not release my furniture without a certified check or cash. I told him I could not get either of such short notice. He told his driver to leave then charged me for two trips ($1005) to come back the following week. Buyer beware.

I was holding off on this review as I'd hope the owner Wiley would do the right thing, but that was not the case. This will be a lengthy review, but I feel it is necessary. Let me start by saying the initial experience was ok, but then everything went down hill. We were scheduled to have our items sent to our destination on 6/29, but were called by Wiley to "do him a favor" and have our items picked up on 6/23.
That was a massive challenge as now we needed to sleep on the floor since our items were being shipped, but were promised an earlier delivery so we obliged. The time the movers were scheduled to come to the pickup location, they never showed up and we then needed to call and find out where they were. We were informed the truck had broken down but the movers were on the way.
It was an inconvenience as we'd been waiting already for almost 3 hours and were never called. We were originally quoted for 75 items at the price of $3575.58 to only find out in the end we had 1 extra item that brought our price all the way up to $3800 which was ridiculous, a $224.42 increase for one additional item, but since our items were already on the truck we had no say in the matter.
We were informed our items would be driven down with the truck going to South Carolina and once it reached our destination would be in "climate controlled facility." Delivery day came 7/3 and not only were the movers late but the integrity of some of our items were ruined. The movers attempted to park their truck in our driveway but had a hanging metal that dragged and we informed them not to back up the truck.
They did nonetheless and ended up scratching our driveway. A table arrived broken to which we were asked by Year(pardon as I do not know the correct spelling) how much we wanted and when we gave him a price he low balled us and said he could only give us $60. Many of our boxes that were clearly marked fragile arrived bent and twisted. As time went on we began the labor intensive process of unpacking each of our 53 boxes and realized our items did not receive the "love and tlc" we were promised.
We contacted Wiley and let him know we've only gone through a few of the boxes and some of our items were damaged. He simply responded by saying he would mail us a check for $150. My greatest shock was finding both of my laser printers, one color and one black and white broken! Not only was the box labeled "fragile" but also "this side up." Our instructions were clearly disregarded as the box showed evidence of being thrown and jostled.
When we brought this to the attention of Wiley, he simply stated that we had packed it so there was nothing he could do. So that means that anything we pack would be abused and disregarded? It looks as though that was the case with our boxes. He again stated that he would send $150(this is still the original amount he was to have sent the week prior), which was ridiculous because the week prior, he told us he had already sent the check, which to be clear was never sent.
I emailed Wiley back and asked him to give us a fair amount for the damage that we have incurred. To date (7/26/2020) he has not responded and we refuse to remain silent on this unacceptable customer service. I attached a few of the photos. Also keep in mind we have still yet to open all of the boxes.

I read all the reviews and WM came down to my final two movers. I chose WM and they proved to be great! Amazing professional movers. Very responsive, fair and reasonable, and very agile when those inevitable "speed bumps" emerge. I moved locally within White Plains and WM came through with an A+ from me. I give them my highest recommendation.

DO NOT USE these idiots: rude, obnoxious and careless. This is a HORRIBLE moving company. The workers are rude and don't listen to the customer's instructions or concerns. First, I directed them to use the back entrance without steps and a double wide sliding door without any steps. The crew leader insisted that they use the front entrance which was narrow with a side step which I knew would be difficult.
I had to demand that they use the back entrance before he finally agreed. Then I alerted them that my dining room set was a special Birdseye maple valued at over $20k. Every piece needed to get special attention and should have been double wrapped then secured with packing film, not tape. It was as if I had talked to the wall. Upon arrival to the destination, I opened up two back doors to my house, yet they insisted on using the front entrance with a railing which limited their turn capacity for these large items.
Once they took off the blankets for the China buffet, coffee table and dining room table, I found crush dents to all three items. Once I complained and pointed out the damage to two of the crew, they started arguing with me to the point of being insulting. When they saw that I had begun filming them, these two guys would not come back into the house.
I told them that I had already called the office and spoken to Jamyra about the damage on these expensive pieces. The rest of the crew begrudgingly finished the rest of the delivery, but I was beyond angry at that point. I will be putting a hold on my credit card based upon finding another reviewer who wrote that the owner DOES NOT acknowledge damage claims. All movers have to honor any damage caused by their workers. It is not something they can choose overlook. If they do, then they can choose NOT to be paid!

Great Resource for Our Office Move We hired WM to move our mid-sized office. First, we got 4 quotes and their's was the best. Second, the day of the move they were on time and hustled all day. Third, we ended up with a lot of disassembly and reassembly of furniture we hadn't initially planned on. They were pros at doing this and gave us the time and resources to get our new offices up and running in no time. I highly recommend this company for any moves, but especially office moves.

These guys were amazing! They stepped in and provided us with a move with NO NOTICE given and same day service, after we had a horrendous experience with a bigger moving company who tried to shake us down for more money than the estimate we were provided with originally for no reason. Willie was clear with us about our estimate, worked with us to fine to a fair agreement, calm, patient and friendly, a true businessman and a complete opposite of how we were treated by the other company.
They squeezed in our move at the end of the day and evening, and provided nine movers to help expedite the process. The workers were fast, friendly and responsible. None of our property was damaged and they set up everything we needed them too and the end price was exactly what we had agreed upon. I would recommend Willie and his company to anybody looking for a great trustworthy moving service!

Long story short, we contacted this company about a moving estimate. A representative from the company came out to count our stuff, and gave us an estimate of $3700. We decided to do business with them contingent upon this estimate. On the day of the move, once they were in possession of our items, we were informed that there could be a potential increase in the fee.
We were never told an amount, and 5 hours later, they raised the price to $5700 dollars! On the day of move in, while in possession of our items still, the driver demanded $5700 in CASH or else we couldn't get our stuff. When I called the owner, he said "it wasn't a lot more." This is after he admitted fault in his initial estimate. In fear of damage to our possessions, and then taking our stuff back, we agreed to a lessened number, and the original amount was paid in cash, and the difference on a credit card. All in all, this was a sheisty, sleazy move by them, and we will be fighting the additional amount. ALL BEWARE! Don't do business

WM movers were professional, courteous and efficient. When we first contacted the company, the OWNER came to our apartment, assessed the items and gave us a quote right on the spot! The quote was mid range but what ultimately we decided on was the personalized experience we had received which we believed would translate during the move. And we were right!
On moving day, they arrived a half hour earlier than expected and within roughly 3-4 hours all furniture was wrapped and put on the truck. All the movers were excellent and when it came time to move into our house, they were efficient and had ZERO scuffs on the walls, ceilings etc which we had just painted. Would highly recommend them.

Horrible company. I contracted with them to move my GF into our new apt. and at an agreed upon flat price of $695. When the movers finished, the owner (Willie) said the move went longer than originally estimated and now wanted to charge an hourly rate which came in at over $1,000. After objecting loudly over the phone, I finally agreed to pay $750.
I was also scheduled to use them the next day for my move into the same apt., when I received a call at 6:00 pm that evening from the owner saying he was cancelling the move. While the workers may be OK, the management is totally unprofessional and seems to be running a bait and switch operation.
